CHASE

Chapter 8

CHASE—

I kept my head low, my eyes narrow. Adrenaline running high and my blood running low. I eyed her from across the hall. She wasn't eating anymore, in fact she was sat there with a worried expression on her face. As if sensing the danger that was lurking around the corner, she rubbed her arms repeatedly. She hadn't looked at me once, I knew she knew I was here, right here. I could feel the fear that consumed her, she looked a wreck. I wondered if she could feel that her time was coming to an end. If she could feel the karma about to show up at her doorstep and smack her right in the face. I didn't believe in karma, no. I believed in getting karma, paying your depts. I believed in payback.

I stood up from my chair a second after she did, slowly following up behind her. The guards came with us, carefully eyeing us so that we didn't step out of line. She turned her head to the side and tried to take a look but then forced herself to look forward, I knew she was afraid, and she should've been. Pulling out the injections from under my sleeve, I held one right in each hand. We were getting close now, she would be going in her room, I had to stop that. Lifting my hand up, I jabbed the injection into the guard walking next to me, a low groan escaped his throat then his body fell to the floor making a loud thud, that caught the other guards attention, causing her to look back. 'What the..' before she could do anything I launched forward and stabbed the second injection into her. I scanned my surrounding before I looked my prey right in the eyes. She had frozen up, not moving, barely breathing. Pulling the key out of the guards pocket I unlocked the door to her room and pushed her inside, she fell to the floor, her hair scattering across her face.

It didn't take long for me to drag the guards in, they'd be out for a while. I had to get moving and I had to get moving now. I turned around and faced my immobile prey. She looked stunned, she was ripping out bits of her hair, her mouth open, shaking her head. She took a step back as I stepped closer. Tears already escaping her eyes, we both knew that this was the end.

'Last but not least.' I took deliberate slow strides over to her, pulling out the butter knife from the waistband of my sweatpants. She eyed the knife in my hand, clearly questioning what harm could be done with such a blunt knife. A lot, a lot of harm could be done.

'Remember me?' I was now inches away from her face, grabbing a fistful of her hair I yanked her head back, her watery eyes begging me to stop, to go away.

'No, no, no.' She chanted the word 'no' like it was going to save her.

'Oh you remember me.' I dragged her hair down to the floor, she fell on her side, her body still immobile as I placed myself on top of her.

'Did you miss me?' My tongue found its way to the side of her face, licking the tears that were shed across her skin. I devoured it whole. Tasting the saltiness of the last tears she was ever going to cry.

'Ple.a.s.e' her lips trembled, making her pleas sound like a stutter.

'I'm so..rry. I never meant to do those thin.g.s, I'm.. sorry.' How pathetic.

'Too little too late.' I stroked her hair, tracing my hands down the side of her face to her chest, fisting her shirt in my hands, I ripped it apart. She finally found the guts to let out a loud scream which only resulted in me smacking her head against the ground and covering her filthy mouth.

'Shut the fuck up. Don't make me repeat myself or I'm going to rip your throat out.' I wrapped my hand across her mouth, she looked like she had lost her composure from the hit to her head, making things easier for me. Pulling down her pants along with her underwear, I placed myself in between her legs. I held the knife in my hand and traced it across her cheek. 'I told all of you that I'd come back. That I'd make you regret it. You didn't listen.' I spoke out as I dug the knife into her face, she yelled into my hand, her voice muffling out. I hadn't even started and she was already tapping out.

'What happened to the brave old Jenny?' I continued to dig the knife into her cheek until it broke her skin, I needed two hands for this. Pulling off the ripped fabric of her shirt, I wrapped it around her mouth then I began to really carve the letter 'C' into her face. It took longer and more effort than I thought but I was getting there, she screamed into the fabric of the shirt that was suffocating her, as blood oozed out of her face.

'It isn't like you to be so scared. What happened? I thought you were the big bad wolf.' I let out a low laugh, mocking the current position she was in. 'What's that Jenny? I can't hear you, I think you're choking on your shirt.'

I dug the knife more and more. The letter 'C' was more than visible but I wanted to make sure it was deep and painful. 'I much prefer you with the letter of my name planted on your face.' I reached for my member, pulling it out, it was already hard. As much as I hated this bitch, I couldn't help the excitement that ran through me while I watched her suffer. I rubbed the tip against her, holding my length in between her thighs. I'm pretty sure she couldn't even see me through the amount of tears that had blocked up her vision. I dug the knife over and over across her bleeding wound as I thrusted myself into her. Her face had paled out, blood smeared all across it, dripping onto the floor. I groaned in ecstasy as I pounded into her. 'Looks like it's the end for you Jenny. Last but definitely not least.' I thrusted into her harder, my breath coming in heavy as I grew inside of her, setting the knife down, I wrapped both hands around her throat and squeezed, with every thrust came in a tighter grip, her face had turned blue by the time I was close to exploding. A deep growl escaped through my teeth, I pulled out and came all over her stomach and thighs. Releasing her throat, I pulled my pants up and checked for a pulse on her neck. A very faint one was there, that had to change. She seemed to be trying to say something so I pulled off the shirt around her mouth. 'I'm.... so..rry.' She coughed out. Repeating the same words they all said before I ended them. Same old lies to buy themselves their precious life.

'I'm sure you are.' I lifted the knife and jabbed it into her throat. I could hear her gurgling on her own blood. The only thing I needed, was a picture of her but I didn't have my phone. I guess it didn't matter anymore. It was the end of it. I'd finished of what they had started. I paid them back for what they'd done to me. I could move on now, I could breathe.
