Chapter 213 Fish Cannot Live Without Water.
Lela sat on Sylvester's lap, her slender legs on either side of his body and her hands around his neck as she narrated what happened between the divine doctor and the Jenkins family to Sylvester.
It was only then that Sylvester understood.
"Honey, it looks like you have many identities. Do you have any other secrets?" he asked as he smirked at Lela.
Lela looked away and curled her lips into a faint smile. "Yes, I do have many secrets. Sylvester, how about you take a guess first?" she teased.
Sylvester reached out and lifted Lela's chin, raising an eyebrow as he leaned in to kiss her. He stuck out his tongue, parted her lips, and forced his tongue in. He pressed against her lips, his tone authoritative. "No matter how many secrets there are, they are all mine," he remarked.
Suddenly, Lela's phone rang. Lela pushed Sylvester with her left hand and reached out with the other for her phone, but Sylvester caught her hand and refused to give her the phone.
Lela felt helpless and could only grab onto Sylvester's collar and endure his kiss.
After the phone bell rang three times, Lela bit Sylvester's tongue. Sylvester winced in pain and let her go.
"Hiss," Sylvester hissed in pain.
In that instant, Lela snatched the phone from Sylvester's hand and opened it. It was a phone call from Martin. "Lela, it's already done. But this girl seems to be dull. Do you want to come and take a look?" he asked.
Watson watched Martin lying through his teeth with his eyes wide open and pursed his lips. He thought, 'If you missed Lela, why couldn't he just say it directly without beating around the bush? Miss Harrison is fine now.'
Lela ignored Sylvester, who was resting his head on her neck. When Lela was about to say something, Sylvester moved his hand to Lela's breast. "Um..." Lela let out a groan.
Martin realized something was wrong. "Lela, what's the matter? Are you okay?" he asked, concerned.
Lela took a deep breath to cool down. "It's nothing. Well... I'll set out as soon as possible," she replied.
After saying that, she quickly hung up the phone.
Pushing away Sylvester, she looked at his innocent yet bewitching eyes. "You!" she said, angrily.
Sylvester took the initiative to speak, his eyes filled with laughter. "Honey, you bit me first, didn't you? It hurt, so I need comfort," he explained, coyly.
Lela knew she was in the wrong, but she had no choice, so she didn't plan to compromise. "It's because you stopped me from answering the phone just now," she chided.
"I need comfort," Sylvester demanded.
His tone was authoritative and stubborn.
Lela held Sylvester's face and changed the topic, saying, "Sylvester, let's go to the valley where my teacher used to live."
Sylvester then put on a serious look, squinted his eyes, and asked, "Why?"
Lela didn't keep it from Sylvester but rather said seriously, "Sylvester, although my teacher has passed away. The others may have a solution."
It was a place full of infinite possibilities.
Sylvester stared at Lela with a displeased face. Apparently, he didn't want to go, but...
Lela knew that Sylvester didn't want too many people to know about his illness. She also knew that he was surely secretly seeking medicinal help. Sylvester had a rough idea as to whether or not his illness could be cured. Besides, Sylvester had no idea if there would be other troubles if they really went there. He didn't want to miss the chance to stay with Lela.
But if they didn't go, Lela would be unhappy.
Lela continued, "Don't you want to keep this relationship with me?"
She then leaned over to Sylvester's ear and lightly bit his earlobe. Her voice was gentle as she continued, "And we have an ancient etiquette that women used to do to their husbands in my tribe. Don't you want to experience it?" This sentence directly broke through Sylvester's stubbornness. He pinched Lela's waist, gritted his teeth, and said in the affirmative, "Okay, let's go."
Sylvester thought of something else. With a sinister glint flashing through his eyes, he added, "After all, fish cannot live without water, right?"
