Chapter 215: Everyone's Mind
The reason why Ke Chen said this was entirely out of concern for Yu Fei.
He saw that Yu Fei had been in a state of confusion for the past few days and was worried that she would really be depressed as the doctor said. This was what he didn't want to see the most.
If possible, Ke Chen hoped that Yu Fei could cry happily. However, ever since Yu Fei lost her child, she hadn't shed a single tear.
The words that were originally concerned had completely changed in Yu Fei's ears. Instead, they became evidence that Ke Chen wanted to hide the truth and guilt.
He snorted coldly in his heart, but there was a gentle smile on his face. Ke Chen didn't expect Yu Fei to laugh, so he was dumbfounded.
When Yu Fei saw Ke Chen's reaction, the sarcasm in her heart intensified, but her smile became more and more brilliant. Since Ke Chen valued his and Tan Lin's child so much, she wanted to let Ke Chen taste the pain of losing his flesh and blood.
She held Ke Chen's hand and smiled faintly. "I know you don't have to worry about me. We're still a long way."
Although he didn't understand why Yu Fei's attitude had changed so dramatically, Ke Chen still smiled at her tenderly because he really loved Yu Fei recently. Compared to his pain of losing a child, Khai had lost a piece of flesh from his body. Ke Chen didn't know that this was just a cage of lies that Yu Fei had carefully made for him. He was completely immersed in it and didn't realize that he had lost the desire to escape.
On the other side of the Ke's Manor, Yu Yu sat on the floating window. Ever since she found out about the existence of the child in her womb, she had never been to Ke's work. Ke Chen had no opinions about it, as if whether she went or not, it was not important.
Ke Chen's attitude towards her release had completely cooled Yu Yu's heart. She had a little fantasy about Ke Chen before, but now that it was completely destroyed, she knew that even without Tan Lin and Tan Lin, Ke Chen's heart would never stay on her.
It was precisely because she understood all of this that the hatred in Yu Yu's heart grew deeper. She hated the affection that Ke Chen had shown to her every now and then. If it wasn't for his unclear attitude, how could she have wholeheartedly wanted to tie this man up?
She put in so much effort but in the end, she didn't get anything. This wasn't the result she wanted.
Wang Feng casually knocked on the door twice, turned on the light and walked in. She waved her hand in front of her nose, looking disgusted.
"What does this room smell like?"
Yu Yu didn't even look at her as if she hadn't heard it.
When Wang Feng saw Yu Yu's half-dead expression, she was furious. She didn't think much about it and slapped her face.
The slap left both of them stunned.
Yu Yu covered her face in disbelief. She slowly raised her eyes and looked at Wang Feng with trembling eyes.
Wang Feng was also stunned. She looked at her hand with a flushed palm and a faint pain.
Wang Feng had never hit her ever since she was young. She wished she could hold her in her palm for so many years. Now, she didn't think that she would do anything.
"Xiao Yu, not Mommy, Mommy..." Wang Feng stammered as she wanted to explain, but she couldn't say anything.
Yu Yu blushed when she was hit. Her eyes quickly moved away from Wang Feng's face, and the corner of her mouth pulled out a smile that was uglier than crying.

"You can go out." Yu Yu spoke coldly. This was the first time she had spoken to Wang Feng in such a tone. Although she was coquettish in the past, she had always been a obedient little baby in front of Khai. Wang Feng still wanted to say something but she saw Yu Yu turn her back to her. The resistance shown on her back could not be obvious.
Wang Feng had no choice but to leave. Before closing the door, she glanced at Yu Yu. She still had her back facing her and did not move.
Unlike Yu Yu's depression, Tan Lin had been in a good mood ever since Tan Lin's child had fallen. Until now, she could not forget the expression on her face when she said those words in the ward.
Yu Fei, Yu Fei, now that you don't have a child, what qualifications do you have to stand by Ke Chen's side?
Tan Lin thought proudly. She did not know that Yu Fei was once again living in Ke's Manor. She did not distance herself from Ke Chen but was closer to him.
Raising her hand to touch her belly, the smile on Tan Lin's face became more and more intense. Wasn't she just a child?
The night was getting darker and Yu Fei fell asleep on the bed. She frowned and slept unsteadily.
Yu Fei was completely in a nightmare.
In her dream, her unborn child lay in front of her. Yu Fei wanted to go forward and hug him, but her legs were as if they had been nailed to the spot.
The child suddenly cried out loud. The sound of crying was so heart-wrenching that it made Yu Fei's heart ache. She desperately wanted to go forward but her body didn't listen.

Her heart was so dull that she didn't feel it anymore. Yu Fei felt like her soul had escaped from her body. Her consciousness could clearly examine what was happening around her, but her body couldn't move at all. Tears flowed out of her eyes, moistening her clothes. The place wet by the tears was much darker. Yu Fei's tears were like a flood that had been opened, completely unable to stop.
The child in front of her looked very bad, as if he had already lost his mind. His eyes were tightly shut and his forehead was tightly furrowed. Just by looking at his expression, one could tell that she was not feeling well. Yu Fei watched her child be so uncomfortable in front of her, but as a mother, she couldn't do anything.
A deep sense of helplessness spread from the bottom of her heart to her limbs. Yu Fei had never hated her incompetence like this at all. She slowly closed her eyes and her tears started to flow more and more violently. Her heart was being cut one after another. Yu Fei had already lost any consciousness in pain. She suddenly remembered that her child had passed away in the car accident. Who was this crying little guy in front of her? The moment this thought flashed, the baby who was still crying suddenly stopped moving and froze in place.
Yu Fei looked at the child's pale face and body with no temperature in front of her. She was unwilling to believe all of this and couldn't connect all of this to her child.
"I won't, I won't."
Yu Fei muttered to herself as if she was crazy.
