Broken 'N' Loved

Alpha Michael POV

As I watch Beta Josh shift back to his wolf and walk out of our territory, I look down at the little she-wolf and she looks so terrified. I bend down to her level; she has her head bent down in submission. I look up to my beta and he looks at the she-wolf with sadness in his eyes for how the female is acting. I look back to her, she is absolutely terrified of me which makes me wonder what the hell did Alpha Jack do to this young female. I look at her " You're okay here. This is the Silver Stone Pack, and I am Alpha Michael. This gentleman is my Beta, Nick. Are you able to shift back?" Nick hands me some clothes for her. She looks at Nick and then back to me, almost like she is trying to decide if we are okay or not. She looks down at the ground and nods her head yes. She takes the clothes and goes behind a tree to change. I stand and look at Nick "She is so small; she almost looks like a pup." I whisper to him so that she can't hear me. He nods in agreement to me just as she is about to step out. When she comes out it is not a pup that comes out, it is a young woman.

She looks so skinny like she has not eaten in months, but she is beautiful. She looks up to me with the same blue eyes of her wolf. When she looks at me something small stirs in me and my wolf, Nyx stirs up. I did not know what it was, so for right now we just push it aside. "Kelly, right?" She looks back down at the ground "Yes, Alpha." Beta Nick steps closer to her to ask her "How old are you?" As she continues to hold her head down, she flicks her eyes between Nick and me. She sighs "I am 17 years old. I shifted early" I looked at her confused because usually for a wolf to shift early you had to have gone through a traumatic experience. Nick looks just as confused as I do, that is so rare that it is almost unheard of anymore. When I look back to her, she is shaking in fear. "Why does Alpha Jack want you so bad? And why did you run away from your pack and home?". She looks around to make sure no one is watching or listening to her, then she looks back at the ground, she whispers "That place will never be my home again, He wants me because of my wolf and her coat." I look at in question due to the fact, she is a white wolf. Although they are very beautiful, they have nothing special to them. Beta Nick looks at her, "Your wolf's coat? It is just white, we have about 20 of them in our pack right now." I nod my head, "Ya, including my mother and sister". She shakes her head no. She looks up through her eye lashes and whispers in the softest voice "They don't have a black tail, do they?". I look at her in shock because there is only a few of those anymore. When I look over to Nick, he has the same shocked face as I do. "Maybe we should head back to the pack house. We have a lot to talk about and this is not the place to do it at." she starts to shake harder when I mentioned the pack house. "Like I said you have nothing to fear. No one will hurt you here. I promise" She just nods her head. We start to walk back.
