I look back down and I am just so curious. I take a deep breath and let my hand travel down but I stop on my thighs feeling awkward. (Goddess if he catches me, I'm going to be so embarrassed and he will never let me live it down.)

He stirs and I quickly close my eyes acting like I'm asleep. I open them again and he is still sleeping. I take another deep breath and I'm about to reach for his pants but then he moves and opens his eyes. He gives me a smile and I know that I have lost my chance.

Tlaugh inside at myself. (Who even does that.)

He kisses me passionately holding me tight but I am surprised that I kiss him back. He stops and looks at me surprised but then kisses me again. I try to match his movements since I really don't know how to do this. We kiss for a while until a knock makes us part.

"We are probably late." Kayden says. "For what?" I ask breathlessly.

"For breakfast, remember? We are leaving for the hotel after." He says. "Oh, yea." I actually forgot for a moment there.

We are going to one of the Hotels that the pack owns in the city. He has business there and he's taking me with him.

"Ok, we'll be down soon!" Kayden shouts to whoever is at the door.

We get up and get ready then head downstairs to get breakfast. He sits and like he tends to do, he sits me on his lap. I feel so much more comfortable with him now. He kisses my neck and I look back at him and smile.

"I love it when you smile." He whispers in my ear.

"It's only you that makes me smile." I say shyly. With his hands on the back of my head, he pulls me to his lips giving me a good hard kiss which I enjoy completely.

"Daaang, go to your room you two." Preston says walking in with Layla behind him and she is giggling

at us.

Kayden stops kissing me and looks at him. "Shut up." He says. I get up and sit in my chair. I look at Layla who sits in front of me. "How is school?" I ask her. "Good, humans are annoying." She says scrunching her face. "Just because they smell a little weird doesn't mean they are annoying." Levi says walking over to us.

Layla pouts at Levi. "I still rather spend my day with you." She mumbles and Levi blushes. I look at both of them and they look so much lively and happy. (Kayden did this.)

I look at him and he gives me a big smile, I smile at him and then focus on my food.

Once we are done, we head to the cars.

"Preston, call me if anything happens and keep me updated on my father and Abraham at their little vacation."

We get in the car and Kayden starts driving off with Grant and two other black SUVS behind us filled with warriors. We are going to the city and that is 'no packs territory', many packs have businesses in the city and there are also rogues there. They are not hunted there unless they actively attack a pack.

We've been driving for about three hours and my butt is starting to get tired.

"Today when we get there, I have to attend to a lot of paperwork but tomorrow, I'm taking you out to a nice dinner after another meeting." Kayden says.

I smile. "Is it a date like in the movies?" I ask and he chuckles.

"Yes, it's a date like in the movies." He says and holds my hand. (Lately, I have been into romantic movies, I started liking them a bit.)

He turns to a road that goes downhill and I see the ocean. I gasp and Kayden laughs. I look at him with so much hope. He gives me a side glance with a side smile.

"Are we?" I ask softly and he nods. I have never felt so much excitement in my life. I smile wide as I have never smiled before and clapped my hands.

"You have your bathing suit, right?" He asks me. "Are we going in?" I ask. "Yea, we have a lot of time to get to the Hotel, this is why I wanted to come early." He says. I smile. "Yea, I brought my bathing suit." "Good."

We continue driving until we get to the beach. I get my bathing suit from the trunk and we head to the bathrooms.

T head inside and put on a black bikini with frills on the edges. I look at myself in the mirror and the bathing suit shows all my scars but they don't bother me as much since the only person I want to impress is Kayden and he doesn't mind them. I'm just so excited to be here right now, that I don't care anymore.

I come out and Kayden is already waiting for me with Navy blue swim trunks. He smiles and quickly picks me upholding a hand on my thighs, I'm basically sitting in his arm as he holds me. "Kayden!" I shout surprised.

"The sand is hot and you don't have shoes on baby." He says walking towards the edge of the water. I hug him as he takes me and the contact from his skin on mine is messing with me, it feels good.

There are a few people on the beach but not a lot, mostly older people. Once we get to the edge, he puts me down and my feet touch the water. He pulls me by the hand and we start walking in.

"Not too far, I can swim a little but not too well." I tell him. "You are with me, trust me, nothing bad is going to happen." He says. We stop when the water reaches my chest. "Do you like it?" He asks. I smile. "Yea. I like the waves." "You want to learn how to swim better?" He asks me and I nod.

We spend almost an hour in the water and my fingers are starting to get pruned. We head out and dry

When we get to the hotel, it is luxurious, very high-end. We head inside with Kayden holding my hand. The receptionists quickly walk over to us. A man and a woman.

"Mr. Byron, we are so happy to have you here." The girl says in a very overenthusiastic way and looking at Kayden like he's a piece of meat. I wrap my other hand over Kayden's arm holding on to him with both my hands, now feeling very territorial over him. I feel a growl wanting to surface from me but I hold it back.

(This is a completely new feeling.)

She notices me and gives me a serious look. Kayden wraps an arm around me and kisses my head. "Thank you, this is my wife." Kayden says introducing me and I almost die. (I know he's saying that because she's human, but I really do like it.) The girl looks down. "Pleasure." She says but doesn't sound too happy.

"She has access to everything in the hotel." Kayden says.

The male receptionist smiles at me. "It is a pleasure to have you, Mrs. Byron, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. We will cater to your every need." He says and I give him a nod.

We walk to the elevators and I still haven't let Kayden go. There are too many women in this place, everywhere I look, there's a human female giving him a seductive look. We stand in front of the elevator waiting for it to come down. "You know I'm all yours, right?" He says leaning into my ear.

I look away from him. "Yea... but they don't know that." I mumble and he laughs. "I like this side of you baby." He nuzzles into my neck and I smile.

(I'm starting to like it too.)

The door to the elevator opens. "Come on my beautiful wife." He says pulling me in and I giggle.

He looks at me surprised but happy.

(Only he can make me feel safe enough for me to let my guard down.)

After a minute, the door opens to this amazing office. It's huge, there's a desk at the end of the room and behind it, there's a wall that is just completely full of long windows from floor to

the whole city. There is a sitting area in front of the desk with two very comfortable-looking sofas and a large table on the left. It looks like a meeting table where people gather around. "Wow." I whisper.

"You like it?" Kayden asks and I nod.

"Through that door over there is our room." He says pointing to a door on the right.

Grant is sitting on one of the sofas with a huge binder. "All your bags are in your room already." Grant says.

Kayden takes me to the room and is big too, with huge windows on the left side of the room and a huge bed in the middle.

He hugs me from behind and kisses me on the cheek. "I have to work now baby, but I'll be just outside this door. There are many things you can do here in the hotel, just let me know if you are bored." I smile. "All need is a TV." I say and he laughs.

Once he leaves, I look around the room for a bit and then sit on the bed and ponder something that I have been thinking about.

(He has been so good to me... maybe I could do something for him. Maybe tonight I could do what Avery taught me. She said that it was something that he would like or rather, all men like.) I take a deep breath and know that I have made up my mind. "I'm doing it."
