Blood Oath: Forever Yours

Chapter 57: She’ll Hate You Even If She Doesn’t Die

He seemed not to notice the soil that trapped Charlotte's body at all, and nor did he realize that she had the danger to die because of being suffocated.

Comparing with those men, he was more like a murderer.

Charlotte could hardly maintain her consciousness. She looked at him with her reddened eyes. Tears ran out immediately. She felt such a sharp pang in her heart as if it was cut by a dagger inch by inch. Lawrence could have saved her, but he deliberately made her desperate as if she was in Hell.

Seeing that she couldn't utter a word at all, Lawrence sat straight. Curling up his lips, he cast a glance at her with a faint smile.

"I guess... it's better than you can experience such a feeling more."

After he finished his words, Lawrence put down his hands to roll his wheelchair farther and farther away from her. Then his wheelchair was pushed towards the men who were next to her.

When those men saw him, they all trembled violently.

"Mr. Harris, have mercy! Mr. Harris, please have mercy..."

Lawrence completely ignored them.

Then he reached the leader of the group. Bending over slightly, he looked at the man.

Squinting, he asked in a gentle tone, "Tell me. Which hand of yours has touched her?"

The man suddenly shook.

"Mr. Harris..."

He had witnessed how cruel Lawrence was, so he dared not to risk his life at all.

Reaching out one of his hands while trembling, he stammered, "This... this one..."

Lawrence didn't turn around, but Jeffrey had already passed him a baseball bat in the tactic understanding.

The next second, Lawrence raised his hand and smashed it down. The baseball bat was smashed on the man's hand.

"Ouch..." The man howled like a hog, echoing in the air.

Lawrence suddenly squinted again. The baseball bat in his hands was waved to his lower abdomen fiercely --

The man stopped howling instantly. Rolling his eyes, he blacked out and lost his certain ability.

The other men next to him witnessed what had happened. Blood drained from their faces.

Pak.

Lawrence tossed the baseball bat. Cast a cold glance at other men on the ground, he tilted his head to Jeffrey.

"Threw him out of City B. As for the rest of them, let them experience completely what they had done to Charlotte." Jeffrey answered, "Okay, Mr. Harris, I got it."

Those men were dragged away.

The wheelchair's direction was changed, turning around towards where Charlotte was.

Under the light, Charlotte's face was ghostly pale. Her chest was pressed under the soil, and it couldn't be told if it still heaved or not. Only the weak breath in her nose showed that she was still alive.

Lawrence bent over and strangled her neck as if he was quite satisfied to see her suffering in this way.

Squinting, he asked in a low voice, "How do you feel now? How do you like the feeling of struggling between life and death? Huh?"

Charlotte opened her eyes in difficulty.

Her breath stopped in her chest from time to time. She felt pain because of the suffocation, but she couldn't tell if that was physical or mental.

Before she completely blacked out, she cried out in the struggle, "Lance..."

Her voice with the crying tone stiffed Lawrence's fingers. His eye pupils shrank violently.

The next second, Lawrence's cold and strict voice was heart suddenly.

"Jeffrey!"

As soon as the last syllable fell from his lips, all his subordinates who were waiting aside showed up. Shortly, they pulled out Charlotte from the pit.

A group of doctors surrounded her immediately.

The light was dazzling. There were

so many people around Charlotte They could see her figure except therewere occasional sounds from the medical equipment.

No one knew how she was doing.

Raymond also thought the hope was small.

"Man, you've gone too far this time Charlotte isn't an ironwoman! You're treating her in this way. Not mention if she would die or not. Aren't you afraid that she would hate you?" en.swhovels.net
