Blind Date With A Billionaire By Sylvia Nancy

Chapter 66

Chapter 66

At the funeral home.

Chapter 66

Because the Hawk family issued the obituary, many people Vanessa did not know came to send Henry off..

The front of the mourning hall was filled with wreaths.

Every time someone came to send a wreath, Vanessa and Danny would bow and thank them.

William, dressed in black, also bowed with Vanessa.

He had been holding Vanessa’s hand and protecting her, afraid that Vanessa would collapse if she could not hold on any longer.

Jackson came over.

And he had come alone.

He was dressed in black with a white flower pinned to it.

He held the wreath with a solemn expression.

Vanessa only saw a black figure and a wreath. She was about to bow.

“What are you doing here?” asked Vanessa. She became agitated when she suddenly saw Jackson’s face clearly.

When the other people who sent the wreaths heard the commotion, they immediately looked over.

William held Vanessa’s hand tightly and reminded her in a low voice, “Nessa, calm down.”

Vanessa quickly calmed down. She bowed to Jackson and thanked him expressionlessly. “Thank you, Mr. Foster.”

Jackson was hurt by Vanessa’s cold and distant gaze once again. He looked at Vanessa and said, “My condolences. Take care!”

He had a lot of things he wanted to say to Vanessa, but it wasn’t the right time. He couldn’t say anything.

Jackson wanted to stand there and watch Vanessa quietly. But he was also afraid of bringing disaster to Vanessa.

He took a deep look at Vanessa and bowed respectfully three times in the direction of the mourning hall and then said, “Mr. Sanchez, all the way well.”

Then, Jackson left the funeral home in a hurry. He wanted to make himself stronger faster and could take over the Foster Group as soon as possible.

Vanessa gritted her teeth and tried hard to stay strong and not cry.

Danny’s two fists were also clenched tightly by his sides.

He had to grow up quickly. Only when he grew up could he protect Vanessa and not let anyone bully her.

William silently held Vanessa’s hand.

He understood the feeling.

The unforgettable love had been betrayed, and it was hard to let it go.

William believed that everything would be fine.

Just like when he saw Tracy now, he was even calmer than before.

As he was thinking, Barron and Tracy came over.

Tracy was wearing a mink coat and high heels. She carried a branded bag and held Barron’s arm. It was as if she was not here to pay her respects but to attend a wedding banquet.

Her outfit was more or less provocative.

Vanessa’s emotions did not fluctuate at all.

Seeing that Barron had arranged the wreaths, Vanessa and Danny bowed together to thank him.

“Ms. Sanchez, my condolences,” said Tracy, walking up to Vanessa.

“Thank you!” Vanessa thanked her naturally.

Tracy said, “Mr. Sanchez is still unblessed. I thought that he would be able to hold on until your wedding. After all, you guys have already made the wedding date so rushed. However, it’s fate! In the end, Mr. Sanchez isn’t that lucky. Tracy deliberately provoked Vanessa and wanted her to lose her composure and let William see her unpresentable appearance.

Chapter 66

Tracy was with Barron now. She knew that she and William could not go back. However, she couldn’t stand seeing Vanessa and William together.

William’s expression turned cold when he heard Tracy’s harsh words and was about to speak.

Vanessa spoke first. She was calm and said indifferently, “Life is unpredictable. It is the greatest blessing as people are alive to cherish it. Many people left without anyone to send them off. When my father left, his son, daughter, and son–in–law

were there.”

She emphasized the word son–in–law.

Tracy irritated her. Wouldn’t she do the same to Tracy?

As expected, the smile on Tracy’s face disappeared when she heard the word son–in–law, and her expression was very unnatural.

She really wanted to start a fight with Vanessa, but because William was present, she smiled and said, “Anyway, Ms. Sanchez. Take care”

With Henry’s death, their wedding had to be postponed. It was unknown if the wedding would be successfully held in the

future.

For ordinary people, perhaps they would be husband and wife for life after registering their marriage.

For wealthy families, they would not be recognized if they didn’t have a wedding.

Thank you, Ms. Yost, said Vanessa. She thanked Tracy again.

Barron nodded slightly at William and smiled before leaving with his arms around Tracy’s waist.

Barron liked to provoke William in front of him.

Barron knew that William, his cousin, valued the relationships. Tracy, who William had been in love with for six years, was now in someone else’s arms. It was impossible for William not to feel anything.

William looked at the backs of Barron and Tracy. He narrowed his eyes slightly and quickly looked away.

He tightened his grip on Vanessa’s hand.

Now that he came back to his senses, he immediately apologized. “I’m sorry. Did I hurt you?”

Vanessa shook her head and said, “No, I’m fine.”

She squeezed William’s hand and comforted him.

William felt that going on a blind date, registering his marriage, and getting married were the rightest things he did. Jackson strode to the parking lot and was about to get into his car when a car stopped in front of him. It was Elena’s car.

Jackson’s face immediately darkened as if a storm was brewing-

–

“Jackson, when did you get here? Why didn’t you wait for me? I called you, but you didn’t answer,” said Elena when she got.

out of the car.

“What are you doing here?” Jackson questioned.

“Mr. Sanchez has passed away. I’m here to send him off!” Elena said innocently.

“Go back home,” said Jackson. His tone was commanding.

Immediately after, the back car door opened, and Sarah got off the car.

“Mom, why are you here?” asked Jackson, frowning in surprise.

Sarah sighed and said, “When your grandfather let you live outside, it was all thanks to Henry taking care of you. I should have come to send him off. Elena, take the wreath.”

“Okay, Sarah,” said Elena. She immediately went to the trunk to get the wreath.

Jackson’s frown deepened.

Sarah looked at her son and said, “Have you sent a wreath?”

“Yes, Jackson replied.

Sarah nodded and said, “Your grandfather will understand. After all, Henry used to take care of you. You go back to your office. I’ll be back home as soon as I deliver the wreath.”

Secing Jackson’s worried gaze, Sarah added, “Don’t worry. You and Vanessa have broken up for so many years. I won’t say anything nasty to her when I see her.”

Chapter 66

Jackson secretly heaved a sigh of relief and said, “Mom, I’m leaving for my office.”

“Go ahead, Jackson. You have to take care of yourself. You know, you can never make enough money,” Sarah said.

“Mom, I know. I’m going back to the company,” said Jackson. Then he opened the car door and got into the car. He instructed the chauffeur to drive away.

After Jackson left, Sarah told Elena. “Elena, with the media around, don’t argue with Vanessa later. I’m an elder. She won’t dare to refute me if I say a few words to her.”

“Sarah, I know,” said Elena. She was very obedient.

With Sarah standing up for her, she certainly played nice.

Elena took the wreath. Sarah and Elena walked to the front of the mourning hall together.

Elena did not say anything. She only smiled provocatively at Vanessa.

Elena knew that her smile alone was enough to irritate Vanessa.

When Vanessa saw the smile on Elena’s face, she recalled that Elena had told Henry about his condition, causing Henry to be discharged from the hospital without permission.

An unknown fire burned in her heart.
