Chapter 54
Looking at William’s well–defined fingers, Vanessa picked up the man’s ring and put it on his ring finger.
The moment she put the ring on his finger, she felt it gleam with divine light.
William looked at the ring on his finger satisfactorily and extended his hand to Vanessa.
Vanessa also stretched out her hand. The two rings were placed side by side, shining brightly.
“Perfect!” William smiled in satisfaction.
“It’s good that you like it.” Vanessa looked at the two rings. The more she looked at them, the more she liked them.
“Of course I do. How about you? Do you like it?” William asked.
“Yes. I love it. The craftsmanship is terrific.” Vanessa praised.
The craftsmanship was the best she had ever seen since she worked in the jewelry industry.
“Good craftsmanship, better design,” William praised. He reached out and pulled Vanessa into his arms, stroking her head.
Was it because Vanessa had been suppressed too much since she was little? That was why she habitually ignored her radiance.
Being praised and patted by William. Vanessa’s heart skipped a beat. Thank you,” she said humbly
William touched Vanessa’s head and then her face. “Honey, you’re the best!” said William, encouraging her.
The word Honey moved Vanessa, who smiled at him and said, “Yeah.”
She didn’t want to be melodramatic or cry, but there were tears in her eyes.
She reached out to take off the ring.
William held her hand and said, “We’ll wear them again on our wedding day. We won’t take them off now.”
They originally only wanted to try on the rings. But the wedding rings were so beautiful, and they would keep wearing them. On their wedding day, they just took them off, put them in the box, and wear them again.
“Am I going to wear it like this?” Vanessa raised her hand to her eyes.
When Vanessa was in college, she had fantasized countless times about wearing a ring on her ring finger. She had also fantasized about Jackson proposing to her.
She thought that the ring would look great on her ring finger.
Now, she was wearing a ring on her ring finger, but the person who put the wedding ring on her finger was no longer that
man.
It was fine. It was just as good–looking.
“Yes, you are wearing it. William replied as he hugged Vanessa.
Vanessa leaned into William’s arms. She stretched out her hand, looked at the ring, and said, “It’s beautiful.”
William kissed Vanessa’s cheek and discussed it with her. “We might be quite busy during this period. I’ll ask Keith and Ben to look after your father and Danny. The Hawk family will announce our wedding to the public tomorrow. Time is pressing. so we have to take some time to customize the wedding gown and take the wedding photos. I have booked a wedding company. They will bring over some proposals tomorrow, and we’ll take a look together to see what kind of wedding we want. We’ll mainly do as you say.”
“It’s fine as long as you decide,” said Vanessa.
William had helped her so much. In fact, she would be content even if there was no wedding.
William smiled and said, “I’ll be in charge of the external affairs, and you’ll be in charge of the internal affairs in the future. You’ll have the final say in all the big and small matters in the family.”
He smiled and added, “I make my own decisions when I work. I’ll listen to you when I get home.”
“Then let’s do it together tomorrow,” said Vanessa with a smile.
She would repay his kindness with action.
She would cooperate with everything and also work hard for herself.
“Okay. Do you have any plans for the afternoon?” William asked Vanessa.
“Not yet, Vanessa said.
“Then let’s go and pick a wedding gown and get it measured,” William suggested.

“Okay,” Vanessa replied.
William tilted his head and kissed Vanessa’s face.
Initially, he just wanted to kiss her face out of habit
In the end, he used too much strength, and both of them lost their balance. Vanessa fell onto the sofa, and William pounced
on Vanessa
Their lips touched.
Feeling the softness of Vanessa’s lips, William’s eyes instantly became fervent, and his body quickly changed.
Startled, Vanessa immediately got up. “Well, let’s go and pick out a wedding gown now.”
This was the living room. If they were here… She would be too ashamed to face anyone.
William saw Vanessa’s face was as red as an apple. He could not help but smile. “Okay.”
She looked so cute. He felt delighted just by looking at her.
They spent over two hours measuring the sizes and selecting four wedding gowns in the afternoon.
Vanessa actually only wanted to pick one.
However, William said that she needed the spare sets, at least four.
When Vanessa heard she needed at least four sets, she went with the minimum standards and chose four.
William discovered that Vanessa had a good eye, although she came from an ordinary background. Every wedding gown she chose was dignified, elegant, and not tacky.
William spent the night with Vanessa that night in Lilyville.
Then, Vanessa truly felt William’s power.
Her feeling of being crushed and bone torn all over her body was totally different from what she felt during the day.
The day was simply a small appetizer before the meal compared to the night..
Vanessa had planned to visit her father and Danny at the hospital the following morning.
However, it was already 10 a.m. when she opened her eyes.
William was sitting at the small desk and typing on his computer. When he heard movement, he turned to look at her and greeted her with a smile. “You’re awake.”
He was in high spirits as if he had not contributed last night.
Vanessa blushed and replied, “Yeah.”
“Get up and have breakfast, William said with a smile.
He had arranged for someone to send breakfast over. The soup was still warm in the pot..
“Okay.” Vanessa immediately sat up.
Picking up her phone, she saw the news notifications from various platforms.
“William Hawk, the third son of the Hawk Group, will hold a wedding on December 19!”
“William Hawk personally confirmed that he fell in love with Vanessa Sanchez, the bride, at first sight!”
“William Hawk’s wedding rings were designed personally by the bride!”
Vanessa randomly clicked on one, and the comments below it were crazy. There were tens of thousands of them for each news article.
“What a good match! A talented man and a beautiful woman!”
“The rings are gorgeous. They are the true limited edition!”
“I do admire a person like William Hawk. As a young heir of a wealthy family, he doesn’t play with emotions. If he likes someone, he will marry her officially.”
“Yes, yes. Many young heirs of wealthy families are profligate. They can play with whoever they like. When they get tired of playing, they can return to the family and marry a daughter of a wealthy family.”
“That’s right. Come on. Maintain the formation. I wish William and Vanessa a blissful marriage!”
Most of the comments were blessings.
Of course, there were also some bad comments that said Vanessa’s family background was not good. Once she entered the wealthy family, she would know the difference. The marriage would not last long-
Chapter 34
After reading for a while, Vanessa shut the news page and quickly got up.
She did not expect the Hawk family to publicize her photo and the rings she designed, nor did she expect William would personally confirm that he fell in love with her at first sight.
It was undoubtedly the best protection and respect for her.
She would also strive to live up to William’s kindness and the goodwill of Arthur and Madison for her.
On the other side, Jackson also saw the news.
His gaze was fixed on William and Vanessa’s faces in the photo.
He suddenly reached out and pulled his tie down forcefully. Then, he dialed the internal line and instructed his assistant, “You can fill up my schedule a little more. I’ll meet Mr. Dutton, Mr. Lorre, and Mr. Fry today.”
“But you’ve only left half an hour for dinner, Mr. Foster.” The assistant was in a difficult position.
“One won’t starve to death if one eats one less meal. I won’t have lunch in the future. I’ll visit customers to discuss cooperation in the morning and afternoon.”
“Okay.”
