Bethany’s p.o.v

I told kyle and Ryan what happened in the morning. I couldn’t sleep at all because Jaxon left me. He totally ignored me. And it’s never been like that. He chases me. It’s not the other way around. I’m not going to chase him!

“Mommy” Emily mumbled waking up

I put Emily on the sofa because I didn’t know if all the rooms were taken or not.

“Shush. It’s still early. Go back to sleep” I said running a hand threw her long black hair.

“I can’t sleep. Mommy why did daddy leave yesterday?” She asked climbing into my lap

Emily doesn’t have a dad, so I told her that Jaxon is her dad, how I’m her mom.

“He was just tired sweetie. Don’t worry. You can see him today. Are you excited to see you brother?” I asked picking her up and walking to the kitchen. It was 6.00 in the morning.

“Yes. But what if he doesn’t like me?” She whispered and I shook my head putting her on the counter

“Of course he’s going to like you Emily. You’re going to be his little sister” I said and she shook her head

“No mommy! What if he doesn’t like me because I am a vampire” she whispered in my ear

“It’s okay Emily. He won’t mind” I replied as Jaxon walked into the kitchen.

“Morning” I said and he nodded and walked to the fridge.

Why is he ignoring me lexi? I asked

I don’t know Axel and William are ignoring me as well. She replied and I blocked her out.

“I’m making some waffles for Emily. Do you want some?” I asked and he shook his head and sat on the stool

“Jaxon! Why are you ignoring me?” I groaned

“I’m not bethany” he replied looking at Emily, who was smiling at him.

“Bethany? It’s cherry for you. Cherry? Remember that?” I asked

“Hi-” he ignored me and smiled at Emily

“Hi daddy” Emily said and hugged Jaxon

“Daddy?” He looked at me confused

“She’s my adopted daughter. So your her dad” I mumbled putting a frying pan on the gas.

“Oh. What’s your name?” He asked her as she let him go

“Emily Rose Perry” she said holding her hand out and he shook it

“Now you’re Emily Rose Perry Gray” he said and she nodded

“Mommy I have a longer name now” she said excitedly and I nodded

“Yeah! Why don’t you go in the living room and watch TV?” I said and she nodded. I picked her up and put her on the floor, and she ran out the room.

“Jaxo-” he walked out of the room.

“Jaxon I was talking to you” I shouted but got no reply

“Ugh. Asshole” I yelled as the door opened and Rachel walked in.

“Bethany?” She muttered

“So kyle wasn’t lying!” She exclaimed and hugged me

“Rachel slow down. Your pregnant. Be careful” I mumbled hugging her back.

“I don’t care!” She said hugging me tightly and then letting me go

“How the hell did this happen?” She asked confused

“It’s a weird story. But Rachel? Do you know why Jaxon is ignoring me?” I asked, putting the waffles on the plate.

“He’s ignoring you? I have no idea” she muttered as Ryan, Eric and Kyle walked in. Kyle kissed Rachel and sat down on the stool next to her as Eric stared at me.

“Am I dreaming?” He asked and Ryan pinched him.

“Ah” he squeaked holding his arm.

“What was that for?” He asked Ryan and Ryan smirked

“Because you’re cute” Ryan said and kissed him.

“Hey Eric. I’ll talk to all of you later! I have to give Emily her breakfast.” I muttered and picked up a plate and walked out, ignoring their confused faces.

I walked inside the living room to see Oliver sat on the sofa with Jaxon and Emily.

“Hey” I mumbled and Oliver looked at me.

“Mommy? Mommy!” He exclaimed and jumped off Jaxon and hugged my legs. I put the plates on the floor and got down on my knees and hugged Oli tightly

“I missed you so much mommy. Please don’t leave me again!” He cried

“I’m sorry Oli. And I promise to not leave” I whispered and he shook his head

“Daddy said not to make promises if you can’t keep them” he said letting me

“I’m going to keep this one. I promise” I replied wiping his eyes

“I love you mommy” he exclaimed and hugged me again.

“I love you too Oli” I mumbled looking at Jaxon who was staring at me but looked back at the TV.

“Have you seen your sister? Emily?” I asked as he let me go

“Yes mommy. Thank you so much. You bought me a sister!” He shouted as Emily sat on Jaxon’s lap and hugged him.

“I love daddy” she shouted and Jaxon chuckled.

“I love you too Emily” he replied tickling her as she laughed and Oli ran to Jaxon and jumped on him.

“I love daddy too” he shouted and Jaxon started tickling him too.

“Jaxon stop! They need to eat” I said and he ignored me.

“Jaxon?” I tried again but he was still tickling the kids.

I scoffed and walked out the room, up the stairs and to Jaxon’s and I, old room. It was still the same and nothing changed.

Lexi? Why isn’t he talking to me? I asked softly leaning on the door.

I’m not sure beth. But don’t give up. Remember the reason you’re here. Just be careful. She replied and I nodded and blocked her out.

Jaxon? I tried our mind link but got no reply. Blocked

Why are you not talking to me jaxon? Did I do something wrong? I couldn’t stop myself from dying Jaxon. I had to protect everyone. And it was the only way. I’m sorry I pleaded into the mindlink but got no reply

I laid my head on the door and slided down the door, just sitting down. It’s Sunday today and I am going to get Jaxon to talk to me.

I stood up and went to my closet to see none of my clothes were moved out of place. I found a blue dress(outfit on side.) It was a dress layla bought me for my mate. And I think it’s a great time for me to wear it.

I had a shower, and got dressed. I straightened my hair and wore a little mascara and lipgloss.

I walked out of the bathroom and to my closet. I wore my black wedges and grabbed a small purse, stuffed some money inside and walked out the room.

I went downstairs to the living room to see the kids eating their breakfast.

“Hey. Who wants ice cream?” I smirked as Jaxon looked at me and his eyes darkening

“Ch-bethan-” he walked out of the room. Asshole.

“I do”Emily and Oli shouted standing up

“Okay. Let’s get you both changed. Emily you can wear something of Oliver’s. And after ice cream, we’ll go shopping” I said and they both nodded.

I walked upstairs with them and we went to Oliver’s room. I made sure they both had showers, got dressed and had brushed their teeth.

“Let’s go” I said as we walked downstairs.

We walked out the door to see Jaxon leaning on a car. He looks hot

“I was think I come with you? Do you want that?” He asked looking at the kids and they both nodded

“Good. I got you a seat as well Emily. Let’s help you sit in the car” he said picking Emily and Oliver up together.

I sat in the passangers seat as he helped them in their seats.

He sat in his seat and started the car.

“We’re going for ice cream” I said and he nodded and drove.

When we got their, everyone was shocked to see me. Jaxon sat down in a booth with Oliver and I went to the counter with Emily.

“Hi. Can I have one scoop of vanilla, one of chocolate, one of strawberry. And with chocolate sauce and lots of sprinkles. Emily what do you want?” I asked

“The same mommy” she exclaimed and I nodded

“Go ask Oli what he wants” I said and she nodded

“Can I have two of those and two vanilla scoops. With nothing on it.” I said and the woman nodded

“Of course luna” she said and I nodded

“Mommy Oliver wants vanilla ice cream” Emily said running back to me and I nodded

“and another vanilla ice cream please” I said and the woman nodded and turned around.

After a couple of minutes she handed me two cones and two bowls of ice cream.

I walked back to the the booth and sat inside next to Jaxon.

“Here you go” I said handing Oliver his ice cream and too Emily.

“Jaxon? I got you one as well” I said handing his bowl

“I don’t like this ice cream anymore” he muttered pushing his bowl in the middle

“Really?” I asked confused

“No daddy you like that! We bought ice cream when we came back from megan’s house. Remember?” Oliver said licking his ice cream

“Erm no I don’t like this Oliver. Not anymore” he said and I rolled my eyes

“Fine. Be like this Jaxon. I’m trying to be good here. I’m trying” I muttered and walked out the shop.

I walked to the forest and sat down on a log. The weather was sunny but now it was just cloudy.

“What the fuck! Your alive?” I heard someone say behind me and I smelt that it was chloe.

“Finally you’re here. How long did it take you to find me?” I asked turning around to see her leaning on a tree

“I wasn’t even looking for you. I was here for Jaxon. After you killed James, I had to do everything alone. I was hiding for a while and then thought I can come back and kidnap Oliver. Just to make sure Jaxon stays with me!” She explained her stupid plan to me.

“Really? Hiding? Were you scared? And kidnap Oli? I hardly think Jaxon would have stayed with you if you kidnapped his son? Kind of stupid plan don’t you think?” I said and she rolled her eyes

“Well... Now all I have to do is get rid of you. And it’s easy.” She said charging at me and changing into a blonde colour wolf.

She bit my shoulder and I threw her away and she fell to the floor, growling at me.

“Nobody and I mean nobody takes Jaxon away from me” I shouted making a big shield around her.

“I’m sick of tired of your stupid games chloe. Sick and tired. I didn’t do anything to you because I know you were under James spell. I saw all. Remember when I used my powers on you? Well I saw it. And I thought if James is dead, then the spell would be broken and you would be okay again. But no! You’re still after MY MATE! And it’s ridiculous. Bitch” I shouted putting my hand forward.

“I did warn you chloe. I did. But no! You didn’t listen” I shouted twisting my hand around a little and she shifted back into her human self.

“Ahh. Stop!” She screamed and I shook my head.

I was draining all the air and water out of her.

“No! I told you” I shouted and pulled my hand back as she fell to the floor, dead.

“I fucking told you! Nobody takes Jaxon away from me” I yelled removing the shield from her.

“No one!” I screamed falling to the floor as my wound healed on its on.

I’m proud of you child. You did it quickly. I just want to let you know that everyone is proud of you,up here and that you and Emily can live your life. Goodbye bethany the moon goddess mindlinked me before the line went dead

“Mommy? Daddy I found mommy” I heard Emily shout before she ran towards me and hugged me.

“I’m sorry mommy. Daddy was only joking. He did eat the ice cream. He ate it all” Emily said wiping my eyes

“It’s okay Emily. Let’s go shopping” I mumbled standing up and wiping my eyes as Jaxon and Oliver ran to me.

Emily is faster than normal kids, because she’s a vampire. And vampire have better speed than werewolfs. But she’s faster than a normal vampire as well, I don’t really know why and the moon goddess wouldn’t tell ne

“Look daddy you made mommy upset. Why did you joke with mommy for?” Emily shouted holding my hand as Jaxon looked at chloe’s dead body and then back at me.

“Me and mommy are going shopping. Daddy? You can’t come with us! Oli do you want to come with us?” Emily asked and Oliver nodded and ran towards me holding my other hand as kyle and Ryan ran towards us and looked confused.

“Bethany?” Kyle asked and I sighed.

“Get rid of it. I’m going shopping” I said and pulled Oliver and Emily out of the forest. I found the car and thankfully Emily had the keys. Not sure how she got them though.

I put them both in their seats and sat in the driver’s seat.

“Erm mommy? You clothes is ripped” Oliver said and I looked at my shoulder to see a piece missing.

“It’s okay. It’s only a small piece. I’ll buy more things. Shall we go?” I said and they both nodded.

I wanted to try the new human mall because I heard Rachel say it’s amazing. I drove to the mall and parked outside.

“Come on” I said helping them out the car and we walked inside.

“Megan!” Oliver shouted as we entered pizza hut.

Oliver ran ahead to a little girl and waved at her.

I walked towards him and smiled at the woman.

“Oli don’t run away from me. Okay?” I said and he nodded

“Yes mommy. Mommy this is my best friend, Megan” he said pointing at her

“Oli I thought you mom was dead?” The little girl asked and her mom pulled her hand

“Megan. You don’t talk like that. Sorry about her. My name is Erica. Oh hey Jaxon” she waved to someone behind me

I turned around to see Jaxon and he was smiling at her.

Another fucking girl. Really? Asshole

“Hi Erica” he said walking closer to her and smiling at her.

“Hey Jaxon. I was thinking maybe megan and Oliver can have another play date?” She said and Jaxon nodded

“Sure!” He said and I rolled my eyes

“We have to go.” I said and Erica nodded

“Okay. How about we do the play date today Jaxon? You can come as well?” She said looking at Jaxon and he nodded

“Sure. Oliver do you want to go?” He asked and I groaned.

“Jaxon we have to go. And no! Oliver doesn’t want to go. Come on Oliver” I said grabbing Oliver’s hand and pulled him and Emily out of the shop.

“But momm-”

“No! We’re going to McDonald’s. Who wants to go there?” I asked and they both nodded

“Yes mommy!” They both exclaimed and I nodded

“Jaxon ho-” I turned around to see Jaxon not behind me. He was in pizza hut talking to Erica.

“I’ll be back. You guys stay here. Don’t move at all” I mumbled and they nodded and held each others hand and I walked inside the shop.

I walked towards Jaxon and grabbed his hands. I could feel the sparks and my heating up my hand. It felt good

“He is MINE!” I growled and pulled Jaxon out of the shop.

“Bet-” I turned around and kissed him.

He wrapped his hands around me and kissed me back.

“I hate you Jaxon” I mumbled against his lips and he smirked

“I love you too Cherry” he muttered

“No! You hate me right? So many stupid woman are after you! I hate it” I groaned

“And who am I after? You! And only you cherry.” He smirked kissing me again.

“Ughhhh” I heard Oliver and Emily shout and I let Jaxon go.

“We have enough clothes. And let’s eat because we need to get home” I mumbled as Jaxon intertwined our hands together.

It was 9.00 and I had just put Oliver and Emily in their rooms. Jaxon had bought another bed and put it in Oliver’s room for Emily.

I walked to my room to see Jaxon walking out the bathroom, only in his boxers.

“Jaxon..”

“Cherry..” he smirked and I rolled my eyes

“Why weren’t you talking to me Jaxon?” I asked changing into bed shorts and a tank top.

I laid in bed next to him and he held my hand.

“Because cherry I wanted you to understand what I go through everyday. I make promises and I can’t even keep them because you leave. I haven’t even had 1 years without you leaving or dying. It’s fucked up.” He said hoovering over me

“Jaxon I couldn’t do anything about it. I had to protect everyone from James and we know it was meant to happen. I didn’t want to go Jaxon but I had to. And then the moon goddess said I had to come back and protect everyone from chloe. So I did! And I’m allowed to stay. Emily as well” I replied and he nodded

“Emily is amazing. I don’t care if she’s a vampire. I am as well. I love her already” he smirked and I nodded

“I know Jaxon. All she needs is love. And that’s what she’s getting. And I’m sorry for how I acted today” I muttered embarrassed

“What! Why! Cherry I loved everything about today. Except you wearing that dress. You wear that infront of ME only, and no one else. You understand?” He growled his eyes changing colour

“Shut up Jaxon. I only did it because you weren’t talking to me. And then you were flirting with that Erica girl” I said and he smirked

“You were jealous? Jealousy looks really great on you bab- cherry” he said

“Yes! Yes I was jealous Jaxon. At least I admit it” I smirked and he rolled his eyes

“I get jealous as well cherry. And you can definitely tell. I’m happy your back cherry. And I’m sorry I couldn’t keep all the promises I made too you” he mumbled leaning down towards me.

“It’s okay Jaxon. I didn’t give you a chance to keep your promises. Now you can keep them all” I said

“I’m definitely going to try” he replied

“I love you cherry” he mumbled against my lips

“I love you too Jaxon. But kiss me already” I pulled him down and he kissed me passionately.
