Chapter I Need You (2)
Luna Marisol let off a warning growl that almost shook the windows. “Do not test me, ragazzino. Now, hand her over and get out of the pack house.”
“Yes Luna.” They mumbled, and she was slowly hoisted to her feet and passed over to Luna Marisol. Once she stood behind the woman, their gazes weren’t as potent as before.
“Now, off you lot go, sbrigati.” She clapped her hands, and the males began to file out of the room, glancing back at Guadalupe with every few steps.
She waved shyly at them from behind Luna Marisol, and her heart warmed when they smiled. The door closed behind Keon, and Guadalupe let of a soft puff of air.
“Okay, bath for you.” Luna Marisol said as she turned herself and Guadalupe around and walked into the bathroom.
I’m running with the wolves tonight, I’m running with the wo-oo-oo-oo-olves
Cold nipped at her body, her hair was floating behind her, and she felt happy and free. Of course, she had lungs, and they needed air.
Guadalupe resurfaced from the icy water, teeth chattering as a gust of wind blew on her face. Luna Marisol was at the side of Nox’s swimming pool of a bathtub, towels in her lap.
“Do you feel any better, tesora?” she asked, leaning forward and sweeping wet hair away from Guadalupe’s face. “Sì Lu- mamma.” Luna Marisol smiled.
“Bene. I think ninety minutes is enough time in this freezing water for you.” Guadalupe nodded in agreement, and waded to the stairs, then climbed out, immediately being swaddled in fluffy towels.
The two women moved around wordlessly. Luna Marisol picked out a sweater from Nox’s closet and Guadalupe pulled out underwear and leggings from her bag. Once she was dressed, Luna Marisol sat her down on the bed, and tended to her hair, taking half an hour less than Guadalupe usually does.
Someone opened the door and brought something to Luna Marisol; then they were out the next minute.
Guadalupe’s hair was detangled, moisturized and in two cornrows that ended just under her shoulder blades. She tied it down, and climbed further into the bed. As she settled, Luna Marisol handed her a mug of a warm jasmine-scented liquid.
“It will help with the pain, and will also put you to sleep.”
Guadalupe thanked her, then took a sip, then another, and another, until the cup had to be taken from her and she had to be tucked in. The last thing she remembered was Luna Marisol kissing her head.

“I need him...”
Huh?
“Guadalupe, please. I need him."
Her eyes snapped open just as the bedroom door clicked shut. Inhaling, she pulled herself up and met Nox’s eyes in the dimness of the room.
“I didn’t mean to wake you, bella.” He spoke lowly, and Guadalupe shook her head. “You didn’t, it’s okay.”
No more words were spoken until Nox was nose-to-nose with Guadalupe.
“I’m sorry about today.” Nox whispered, and Guadalupe’s eyebrows creased. “What for? It’s not like you can control it.” When he gave her a look, Guadalupe merely said: “Your mother told me.”
Nox hummed, brushing his nose against hers. “Is that all she told you?” he asked, and Guadalupe shook her head, effectively rubbing their noses together. “She told me a lot of things. So expect questions.”
He chuckled, snaking his hand around her waist and drawing her closer. She shivered when his fingers brushed against her bare skin.
“Guadalupe. Please... I need him.”
And she found herself blurting out the words, “I need you.”
Nox’s eyes flashed gold, and he inhaled deeply, pressing his forehead against her shoulder. “Baby, are you- I- I don’t want to rush you or force you or anything.”
“I-” Guadalupe paused, thinking. It didn’t take her long to reach a conclusion. “I’m sure.” She whispered, and Nox’s hand tightened around her.
“I- I won’t push you all the way. I would feel like I forced you; my mother would also have my head.” Guadalupe giggled, and nodded in agreement. “I don’t think I’m ready for the full thing... just... something.”
When she and Charlie first started their arrangement, she had thought that sex would be the definitive answer to her problem. But she couldn’t bring herself to do it; she found that he couldn’t bring himself to do it either. Their priorities shifted, and she kept her virtue in tact.
But this other part of her wanted Nox to be the one to take her; and she was starting to agree with it.
She paused, adjusting herself on the mattress. “I’m starting to feel achy again.” His free hand pressed against her cheek and his eyes searched her face. “What? Where?”
Guadalupe’s heart bounced in her chest as she took the hand on her cheek and guided it to the ache. “Here.” She whispered, and Nox sucked in a breath, hiding his flickering eyes away.
“Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck dammit woman.” Then his lips were on hers, and she was completely lost. She quickly realized that this was the first time they kissed; and it was electrifying.
A shock went through her lips and quickly spread through all the nerves in her body, leaving a tingling sensation in her fingers and toes and instinctively made them curl up.
Nox had tried to be gentle with her; she emitted such warmth, and she felt soft under his touch. Her gentle aura demanded that he returned what she gave off.
But her hands were wandering like she already knew him, and he was losing his battle for control. He could feel himself becoming less and less present as Zev became more dominant, begging to be released to finish staking his claim.
Both his hands found their way to her neck, being as gentle as possible as he deepened the kiss. His grip tightened minutely, and the shaky moan she let out was quickly followed by a low growl.
They paused, the only sound in the room was their breathing. Nox’s eyes were still silver when Guadalupe looked into them. He gulped. “I’ll ask again; are you sure?” His voice was gruff and she released another shaky breath. The words were caught in her throat; all she could do was nod.
He launched himself at her with renewed vigor, and Guadalupe lost herself in his touch and the tingles it brought. Right up until...
“Nox, I’m not too sure about this.” Guadalupe said warily, glancing at him. “Yeah, Nox isn’t here bambina.” Guadalupe huffed, covering a laugh. “Zev, I’m not too sure ab-”
“It’s going to be fine, bambina.” Guadalupe huffed again. He didn’t seem to understand that she wasn’t cut out for what he wanted. “But I-”
“Just sit on my face woman!” Guadalupe glanced down again, and golden eyes glared up at her. Her lips parted to object again, but Zev was one impatient wolf. “Oh, cazzo!”
Then she was sitting on his face. And after the initial shock of feeling his tongue, her body lost its tension and she was completely lost again.
If the walls weren’t soundproof, Guadalupe was sure she’d get plenty of looks because boy did she swear like a sailor. And her moans. Unholy.
Sane Guadalupe would be absolutely mortified. But with Zev growling beneath her, and swirling and plunging his tongue in her, Sane Guadalupe was nowhere to be found.
She wasn’t sure who was present at what times, so their names slipped off her tongue interchangeably. And they made sure that Guadalupe didn’t feel another ounce of pain, till she passed out, comfortably seated on an Alpha’s face.
