Chapter 86

Sean laughed softly at Rebecca’s reaction. “Yes, you and me. Isn’t that what newlyweds do?” he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

Rebecca shook her head, still in disbelief. “But why? I mean, we’re not exactly a normal couple. We’re-”

“We’re a married couple now, Becky,” Sean interrupted gently. “And we need to start acting like one. A honeymoon could be a good way to get used to each other. Besides, it might be nice to get away from all the craziness for a while.”

Rebecca sighed, looking down at her wine glass. “I guess you’re right. But where would we even go?”

Sean’s eyes lit up. “I’ve always wanted to go to Italy. How about we spend a few weeks. exploring Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast?”

Rebecca’s heart fluttered at the thought. Italy had always been on her bucket list, but she had never imagined going there with Sean. “Italy sounds wonderful,” she admitted. “But what about Lily?”

Sean smiled. “We’ll bring her with us, of course. It’ll be a family honeymoon.”

Rebecca chuckled, shaking her head. “A family honeymoon. That sounds… unique.”

Sean grinned. “We are a unique family, Becky. But we’ll make it work. I promise it will be a fun trip. Lily is strong enough, and her father is a pediatrician, so there’s nothing to worry about.”

Rebecca couldn’t help but smile at his optimism. She felt a little bit guilty for thinking badly about Sean before. “Okay, let’s do it. Let’s go to Italy.”

“Great!” Sean exclaimed, clapping his hands together. “I’ll start planning everything tomorrow. You just relax and get some sleep.”

Rebecca nodded, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. “Thank you, Sean. For everything.”

Sean reached out and squeezed her hand gently. “We’re in this together, Becky. Always.”

Rebecca watched as Sean retreated to his room, her mind swirling with thoughts of their upcoming trip. She finished her wine and decided to head to bed, feeling

case than she had in weeks. Maybe going away to Italy for a while could get rid of all the thoughts about Harvey that kept haunting her

The new

morning, Rebecca woke to the smell of fresh coffee and the sound of Lily cooing. She smiled, stretching as she got out of bed. She followed the sounds to the kitchen, where she found Sean feeding Lily in her bouncer.

“Good morning,” Sean greeted her, flashing her a bright smile.

“Good morning,” Rebecca replied, pouring herself a cup of coffee. “You’re up carly,” she said, frowning at the digital clock on the table

“I wanted to get a head start on planning our trip,” Sean said, a hint of excitement in his voice. “I’ve already found a few places for us to stay.”

Rebecca raised an eyebrow, impressed. “You don’t waste any time, do you?”

Sean shrugged. “I figured the sooner we plan, the sooner we can leave. We could all use a break.”

Rebecca nodded, sipping her coffee. “You’re right. I’m actually looking forward to this.”

“Me too,” Sean said, his eyes sparkling. “It’ll be good for us.”

Rebecca looked at Lily, then frowned in confusion. “Why is Lily suddenly here?” she asked, trying to remember if she had missed something last night.

“Oh yeah, I heard her crying for a long time, so I knocked on your door, but you didn’t respond. Sorry, but I was panicked, so I went inside and took her out. I swear I didn’t look at your bed or anything, answered Sean with a guilty face.

Rebecca grimaced, her face red with embarrassment. “Oh God, what kind of mother am I?” she muttered, then put down her coffee cup and walked over to Lily, who looked more and more like Harvey by the day.

“No, don’t say that. We just had our wedding yesterday, you must be tired,” said Sean, patting her on the back twice.

Rebecca sighed deeply, then bent over and kissed Lily’s cheek gently. “Um, have you already taken care of changing Lily’s last name?” she asked, looking over at Sean, who was washing a milk bottle.

“Yeah, I contacted my lawyer. He’ll fast–track it so we’ll be traveling with the same last

name on our passports,” Scan replied proudly

Rebecca smiled faintly. She still couldn’t believe that Lily would forever be a stranger to Harvey. She lifted her daughter from the bouncer and showered her with kisses on her sweet–smelling skin.

Casually, she picked up the remote and turned on the TV, but the gossip news that appeared drastically changed her mood.

The public is starting to wonder if Becky Blushoff’s daughter is actually Harvey Specter’s child due to Harvey’s indifferent and cold reaction. Meanwhile, confirmed at her Long Island residence, Harvey’s mother, Victoria Specter, stated that Harvey cannot have children, so the baby is likely the daughter of Nicholas Bennett, Becky’s partner before she remarried Harvey. A source says they secretly met in prison and rented a private room-

“Bullshit!” Rebecca struggled not to shout because Lily was on her lap. She felt her whole body tremble with anger.

Sean sighed deeply, approaching Rebecca and rubbing her back. “Don’t get riled up. This must be Victoria’s doing. She just wants to ensure Lily never claims to be Harvey’s heir, so she’s concocting this ridiculous story, he said carefully.

“But, damn it! Can’t she stop linking me to Nicholas? We never even had a sexual relationship! This is defamation! I can’t just stay quiet, right? Digital footprints can’t be erased! What if Lily finds this kind of news someday? What will she think about her mother?” Rebecca ranted, her breath coming in angry gasps.

Sean took a deep breath. “Becky, listen!he said firmly, causing Rebecca to look up at him in surprise. “Have you forgotten why we’re doing all this? Our fake relationship? For whom? For Lily’s safety. Trust me, there will come a time when we can explain to her what really happened. Just breathe, okay? Close your eyes and think slowly,” Sean said gently, as he took Lily from Rebecca’s arms.

“I’ve never wanted to slap Harvey more than I do right now, and I can’t hold it back anymore.”
