The next morning, Kelly woke up early with bright eyes.

“Well...” She made an excuse. “My eyes were quite sore this morning, so I shed a lot of tears.”
Ian looked up at her face for a long time before he stared at her nervous eyebrows. His heart ached, but he did not expose her.
