Chapter 433
Chapter 433
The Golden Voodoo King was in hibernation when it left its host.
It was noteworthy that it was very difficult to make the Golden Voodoo King recognize its master. This chubby worm had a proud
personality and was very picky about its host, after all. Typically, it rarely acknowledged anyone as its master under normal
circumstances, and it would only do so if it was injured or lured using a complex method.
Therefore, Olivia had dismissed it as inconsequential, never foreseeing that it would infiltrate her body and acknowledge her as
its master.
It happened so quickly, and she had passed out from the pain before she could
even react.
When she woke up, she found herself in an unfamiliar room.
She blinked and tried to speak, but her mind was devoid of any recollection, leaving her unable to form any words.
‘What happened?‘ she wondered.
She suddenly frowned, hoping to recall her name, but what followed was a sharp pain in her head.
“Ouch... It hurts.” She collapsed onto the bed, tossing and turning with her head buried in her hands.
The stir in the room roused the young girl standing guard outside the door. Hurriedly, the girl entered, and asked with great
concern, “Saintess, what’s the matter? Are you unwell? Should I fetch the doctor?”
Olivia suddenly turned around, grabbing the girl’s hand and asking coldly, What did you call me?”
“Saintess!” The little girl was at a loss, not knowing what to do.
Olivia frowned. Her intuition told her that something was wrong. Although she did not remember who she was, she was definitely
not the Saintess that the little girl was talking about.
She endured the pain and sat up, then said coldly, “You’ve got the wrong person. I’m not the Saintess you’re talking about.”
“What’s wrong?” The little girl panicked. “You’re the Saintess. Look at your face. The significant dark birthmark and the faint
golden hue in your blood–these are all distinct traits of the Saintess.
‘Blood? Gold?‘ Olivia pondered.
Olivia lowered her head and squeezed the wound on her fingertip, and she found that the blood that was revealed did have a
faint golden color under the sunlight. Then she thought of the birthmark.

“Where’s the mirror?” Olivia asked coldly.
The young girl hurriedly brought a mirror over, and as Olivia lifted her gaze, she found a tainted face.
The tiny face exhibited a significant area of dark birthmark, and it looked as though she had multiple scars across her face.
Despite her typically calm demeanor, she could not help but feel startled. Quickly, she recoiled and pushed the mirror away.
“Saintess?” The little girl quickly put away the mirror and brought over a veil. “Put this on.”
“A veil?” Olivia frowned as a hint of displeasure flashed in her eyes. Despite her lack of memory and the unsettling birthmark on
her face, she did not favor concealing herself.
After all, her appearance was a gift from the heavens, not something to be concealed.
“Take it away,” Olivia said coldly.
The little girl was surprised. “Saintess? You’ve never taken off your veil before. Even when you eat, you eat alone. Although the
people in the clan are aware that you have a birthmark on your face, they’ve never seen you without one. Are you sure you don’t
want to wear one? You want to show your face?”
The girl was not repulsed by the birthmark on the Saintess’s face. In fact, the Saintess, who was timid and fearful in nature, used
to be very concerned about
up her appearance. Whenever she went out, she always covered herself completely.
Therefore, the girl could not help but wonder why the Saintess had changed her mind.
Olivia also noticed the abnormality. She raised her voice and asked, “I used to like wearing veils?”
The girl nodded.
“Oh.” Olivia nodded. “What’s your name?”
The girl’s eyes widened. “Saintess, you don’t remember me? I’m Charlee.”
“So your name is Charlee.” Olivia leaned against the bed and said coldly, “I don’t remember anything. Tell me about me.”
Through Charlee’s introduction, Olivia roughly knew her identity.
She was Berry Flores, the Saintess of the Flores family in Wayne Country. Similar to the royal family of a specific nation, she was
like a mascot, serving as a mere symbol and did not hold any real power. Because of her appearance, she felt extremely
inadequate and consistently wore a veil whenever she ventured outside, keeping her true appearance concealed. Therefore, no
one knew how she looked exactly.

Even Charlee and Berry’s parents had never seen her face under the veil. This time, Berry had been severely injured by the
shaking stone when she came. to participate in the auction.
In order to check her injuries, Charlee had no choice but to take off her veil.
Up until now, only Charlee had seen her uncovered face.
“You said that when you found me, I was wearing a veil?” Olivia quickly discovered a suspicious point. If she was not Berry, there
was no way she would wear a veil as she knew very well that she hated it.
She wondered if she was really the Saintess of the Flores Family.
Charlee nodded. “Of course, you were wearing a veil. You were also wearing the big robe you left the house in. However,
perhaps because of your injuries, the robe had slipped off and was only draped over your body.”
Olivia sensed numerous questionable aspects. Yet, with her current lack of memories and severe headaches and stomach pain,
she could only accept this identity first and plan for the future later.
“Where’s the doctor? Have the doctor come over to treat me,” Olivia said.
Strangely, despite her worsening headache, she paid little attention to it. Instead, she was deeply concerned about her stomach.
Charlee hesitated. “There’s no doctor here. I wanted to call a doctor previously, but Mr. Flores stopped me. He said that your
body is fine and that Mrs. Flores can examine you. If you want to find a doctor, I can call the hospital nearby.”
It all sounded quite troublesome. Olivia’s gaze turned icy, and she swiftly picked the veil, placing it over herself. Standing up, she
stated, “Let’s head straight to the hospital. They have better equipment there.”

Even though she disliked wearing a veil, it was prudent to keep wearing it as it had been her habit.
Charlee nodded. “Saintess, please wait for me. I’ll hail a cab.”
After Charlee had left, Olivia sat by the bed, looking around quietly.
Everything around her felt incredibly unfamiliar, and there was no trace of familiarity whatsoever. Therefore, she could not help
but wonder if she was really Berry, the Saintess.
As she was lost in her thoughts, she was suddenly jolted when a figure swiftly entered the room. She then noticed a robust man
standing before her, raising his hand as if to strike her.
The slap, accompanied by a whooshing sound, was exceptionally brutal. If it made contact with her face, it could potentially
cause deafness.
Olivia hurriedly turned around to dodge the attack in an instant. She looked coldly at the person in front of him. “How dare you!”
The burly man pointed at his nose and said in a surprised tone, “How dare I? How

dare
you say that? You don’t want to live anymore, do you? How could you go to the hospital? You might be shameless, but I’m not!
Don’t involve mel”
While speaking, he lifted his arm and swung it in a circular motion, evidently aiming to strike Olivia.
The man was truly enraged. His daughter had always been obedient in his presence, never daring to act impulsively. Yet, even
after sustaining an injury, she displayed an unforeseen boldness by attempting to dodge his attack.
He was determined to teach her a good lesson!
Before he could strike her, Olivia swiftly seized a chair from the ground and hurled it at the man’s head without any prior warning.
That was a solid wooden chair!
The man’s head took a blow, causing his body to stagger and collapse into a pool
of blood..
Lydia Flores, who had hurriedly approached from the doorway, witnessed her husband lying on the ground. Her eyes were filled
with terror as she shouted, “Duncan!”
