Billionaire and His Scheming Beauty

Chapter 51: Simon Was the First, So You're the Second

No matter how much one tries to conceal their inner thoughts and desires, it always manages to show in their eyes. Right now Fleur's eyes were shining with the desire to tear Virginie apart. A chill ran down Virginie's spine. The words "...was for you even before I met you." reminded her of Samuel, though she was not sure why.

Samuel...

Virginie's heart sank. She instinctively turned her head away.

Gloved fingers gripped her chin the next second and forced her to gaze back into Fleur's eyes.

"Behave yourself. Don't text a man at in the middle of the night. Don't repeat your ugly tricks, otherwise you'll get more than just a slap."

Fleur's words rang loud and clear: Don't text men in the middle of the night. Don't repeat your ugly tricks.

Virginie was still thinking about them after Fleur left.

First of all, how would Fleur know she texted Olivier in the middle of the night? Olivier would never tell her. It was either Fleur secretly peeked at his phone, or they were living together. But that was impossible. Olivier could not possibly be living with another woman.

Secondly, those words: "Don't repeat your ugly tricks." meant there was at least another similar past occurrence which was the same as the current one... Virginie thought of Samuel again.

If Fleur had known about all the texts Virginie sent Samuel in the past, that meant Fleur was with Samuel, that she was his...

Virginie felt anxious all over again, numbness tingling all over her body, the pain on her face momentarily forgotten.

The sports car running along the street had its ceiling down, autumnal wind breezing across Fleur's long flowing locks. Her fragrance wafted out all along the way.

A pair of shades hid her eyes and their depths, only her beautiful face was exposed, leaving an unforgettable sight.

She stopped at a red light.

Fleur rested an arm on the window, then her face on it, silently contemplating.

Gloomy clouds shielded the sun, dimming its rays. Her features dimmed with the lack of light, depicting an extraordinary beauty.

As the light turned yellow, she sat back up and slowly released the brake.

Just then, someone leapt into the front passenger seat, high-spirited and imposing.

He had amorously delicate eyes, full of vigour.

Fleur glanced at him, only for him to beam at her.

She resumed driving.

A minute later:

"Waldo." Her voice was gentle. "If you keep staring at me like this, I'm afraid people will think a scandal is in the works."

"If there is a scandal, I'll prove it true."

"Sure." Fleur smiled lightly. "Let's see if you'd like to be my second spare."

"Simon was the first, so you're the second." Fleur grinned. "You can introduce more spares to me. I don't mind."

Waldo tugged at his seatbelt, squinting at Fleur and eyeing her gloved hands. He said tauntingly, "Can't I step in line before Olivier?" "Nope. He's the principal lover, unmovable whatsoever."

Waldo leaned the seat back and looked at her. She was truly a beautiful woman, even her earlobes were dainty and attractive.

"Why don't we go find your principal lover for lunch? You'll find out how annoying he is once you two get to know each other more." Olivier was indeed annoying.

Getting so antsy whenever Fleur touched him.

Upon arriving at the Moss Hotel, Olivier was not anywhere to be seen. Yves said that he had an appointment at noon.

It was only Waldo and her in a corner, enjoying the magnificent hall.

"Are we still eating?" Fleur asked.

"Of course, do you really think I'm looking for Olivier to have lunch with?"

"I know you covet me."

"...Madam Leroy." Waldo hiked an ankle up over his thigh. "Don't think of yourself as some experienced seductress. I'd compete with you otherwise and conquer you in love."

"It doesn't matter to me." Fleur folded her arms leisurely folded her arms around her chest. "You'll have to prepare to run for the hills if you want to conquer me."

Waldo nodded repeatedly. "Such a curious woman. I'm really more and more into you as time goes by." He said radiantly, "Say, what should I do?"

"Resist."

"Don't say it out loud. It gets tiring refusing people all the time."

This woman... Waldo bit the inside of his cheek, staring steadily ahead at her.

"The more extraordinary a woman behaves, the more outstanding she becomes. The more different you act from others, the more pursuers you gain."

"So what? I'm not going to act modest and lower myself in public just to dispel everyone's thoughts and desires."

Waldo stayed silent. Fleur was quite something. She did not seem like the type to marry as she would have many admirers. To be her man, one would had to be mentally strong. Plus, he would have to be financially capable, otherwise, he would not be able to afford having Fleur as his woman.

Lunch with Waldo was fairly pleasant, though he did flirt with her from time to time, Fleur knew he was not interested in her that way at all.

So she was quite at ease.

After saying goodbye to Waldo, Fleur

went to her club. Thierry had arrived

early as the club did not seem to have any peace lately. The other person who came early was the club's head of security Marco Clement.

"Boss," Thierry began. "There were still troublemakers last night when you weren't here, but we did not use any force. The Muller family's Young Master was here and helped us out instead."

Fleur hummed in acknowledgement. Trivial matters like these did not need to be taken seriously.

"Additionally, half an hour ago a representative from the Lopez family called and said they wished to buy the club. I believe they'll be sending someone over to discuss it later." "Marc." Fleur stretched her sore neck, dark hair swaying with the movement. Her beauty was radiant.

"Lady Leroy." Marc bowed.

It had been a long time since Fleur had been called Lady Leroy. She frowned, eyes turning cold. "Call me Boss, or Miss Leroy. You're fired if you forget next time."

"I'm sorry, boss."

"Stop anyone from the Lopez family from entering the vicinity of my club."

"Yes, miss!" Marc stood straight and tall, masculine strength apparent. It was obvious he was trained in the martial arts.

Fleur had two of her men with her as she idled through the large hall and each of the private rooms. It took her two hours before she entered her office.

As soon as she entered she saw a black cap. She instantly recognised it to be Simon Muller's.

Half an hour later, Marc reported the Lopez family had sent two vehicles over. Fleur waited until five in the afternoon.

Then Philibert Lopez called her number.

In the open-air square beside The Stunning Club, Fleur was wearing a black cap to reduce attention on her while Philibert stood before her with four bodyguards surrounding him.

"Madam Leroy, it was quite a trip to

come and meet you in person." Philibert smiled brightly, dangerously. He actually looked like

a kind man at first glance, but that quickly disappeared the longer you looked at him.

"Trip or not, isn't Mr Lopez here now?"

"Let's find a place to sit and talk. After all, it's not polite to have you stand like this when I'm here to negotiate."

"No need, this is fine with me. This simple corner will do with my answer to what you're going to say."

The two's conversation easily reached a consensus on attitude.

One intended to purchase, while the other did not intend to sell.000
