Billionaire and His Scheming Beauty

Chapter 14: You Want to Dig Your Grave That Badly?

The Toyota Land Cruiser sped through the night, cutting a silver light along the highway.

It was as if it were the king of the road, leading the other cars along.

The sound of a phone ringing broke the silence.

"Speak." A single emotionless syllable was uttered.

"Mr. Martinez, Miss Lopez sprained her ankle and is currently running a fever. Would you...like to come over...?"

"Is she my daughter? Do I have to deal with every trouble she gets into?" Olivier's face darkened. "If she's ill, send her to the hospital. Do you think she'll recover just by talking to me? Idiot. Quit your job if you don't know how to get things done."

"I sincerely apologise, sir, it's my fault." Raoul broke out in cold sweat as he listened to the conversation. This had never happened before. In the past, Mr. Martinez would be rushing over at the first instance upon hearing such news. "I'll send Miss Lopez to the hospital right away."

Mr. Martinez was not in a good mood tonight, that was evident.

Olivier tossed away his phone, knuckles around the steering wheel turning white as he gripped them tightly.

An hour later, the Land Cruiser arrived at the Oriental Estate. Olivier swiftly entered the villa.

The lights were not on downstairs, but he was used to the dark anyways. He made his way to his room without so much as fumbling.

Upon opening the bedroom door, a floral fragrance wafted out.

From where was at the doorway, he saw a single hazy orange glow lit in the room, giving off a romantic aura. Fleur sat on his sofa, clad in a white bathrobe, long hair falling off her shoulders. She had a coquettish look on her face with her chin cupped in one hand. She looked much like a wife welcoming her husband back home.

Her soft demeanour carried her stunning beauty, making the already romantic air more irresistible. It made one want to admire her beauty like a piece of art, and at the same time tear her clothes off and listen to her moans.

Olivier narrowed his eyes and stared at her for a moment, then pushed the door wide open before switching the lights on.

There was a bouquet of flowers in front of Fleur that he did not notice until now. He had been too distracted by her beauty to notice earlier.

Fleur thought to herself, "Is this man that dense? Why did he switch the lights on? It'll ruin the vibe."

"What is this? Trying to seduce me again?" Olivier said without moving from where he was.

"I came to apologise to you." Fleur beamed at him, calmly pointing at the roses. "These are for you. They're fresh."

Olivier glanced at the flowers. Even though he was a good two meters away from them, he could clearly see a card between the blooms with beautifully-written words: "I'm sorry."

Of course, Fleur had deliberately written those words that big a size. She wanted Olivier to be able to immediately see them.

Olivier closed his eyes. He could not tolerate this anymore.

"Get the hell up." He growled coldly. Fleur obediently stood up.

"Leave!" Olivier unbuttoned his collar, teeth grinding against one another.

As soon as Fleur got up, Olivier walked away from her. But as they passed one another, Fleur suddenly dove into his arms. Her womanly fragrance filled his nose, and he felt soft lips on his own a second later. Fleur stood on tiptoe, arms around his neck as she kissed him. Her eyes were soft were gentle when she pulled away.

"I won't disrespect you anymore. Don't be angry with me, please."

"Fleur Leroy." Olivier's voice was ice cold yet carried a powerful timbre, like that of a roaring tiger.

"You've caused enough mess today for me for a lifetime!" Fleur had not given him a break throughout the entire day. His eyes were filled with an incomprehensible darkness. He gripped her waist with one hand, and said, "You want to dig your own grave that badly?"
