Beta Mates

Kara walked down to the pack house and strong arms grabbed her from behind and turned her around to plant a kiss on her startled mouth. She pushed back the intruder and stared up in his face. “Cage, what are you doing here?” He looked down at her and frowned surprised by her reaction until he saw the new mated mark on the side of her neck. A hurt look passed over his face. A low growl came from the side and a large blonde man, Adam, walked up with an enraged look on his face. “Who are you and why did you touch my mate”? Kara stepped between the men and held up her hands. “Adam wait a minute I need to give him an explanation”. Adam wrapped his arms around his mate and lowered his head to kiss her. His wolf was going crazy because she smelled like the foreign man and tasted like him too. Adams eyes were sparkling with golden glints and he was close to shifting in rage.

Kara cupped her hands around Adams strong clenched jaw. She looked deep into those gorgeous jade eyes she loves so much and said “I love you, you know it. Only you! Please calm down, he didn’t know about us. You know I love only you. I wear YOUR mark not his”. Adam took a deep breath and she could feel him relax. “I need to talk to him, he deserves an explanation. But you know I am yours, if this is too much for you knowing I am with him stay with me and listen.” He tensed back again but was in control of his wolf once again. “Okay lets go back to the the patio and talk at one of the picnic tables” he grumbled.

They started to walk to the back of the pack house and Cage kept his distance from Kara fearing the large mate of hers would lose control again. Adam sat down and pulled Kara in his lap. Cage sat on the other side keeping his distance. Kara started to speak “Cage this is Adam, I met him here. He is my fated mate. I’m sorry for any pain I have caused you but you will understand when you meet your fated mate.” Cage replied “I’m happy for you finding your fated mate. I will get over my feelings towards you, I just need time. In the meantime, I am here a little early for the Alpha Meeting. My Alpha sent me here to make arrangements for rooms and security.”

Adam quirked his mouth, “you need to speak with me then. I am the senior Beta here. Maybe we can speak tomorrow, now isn’t such a good time. I will send someone to show you where you can stay.” He pulled Kara up with him and they walked away. He looked at her with a closed expression on his face and told her to get showered. “I can’t stand having you smelling like another male” he said. She went into their room and took a thorough shower and brushed her teeth several times. She couldn’t stand knowing her mate is in pain and angry at her but she didn’t kiss Cage, he kissed her.

She came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel to find Adam sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. She walked over to him and gently lifted his head. She kissed him gently “better?” “Much, I’m sorry I lost it, I saw the whole thing and you didn’t kiss him back. I saw you push him away. But having someone that close just drove me nuts!” She pulled him up to stand in front of her and she wrapped her arms around him. “This is where I want to be, I love you so much, you never have to worry about me being faithful. My heart is yours, it doesn’t even belong to me anymore.”

He crashed his lips onto hers for a searing kiss that she felt down to the tips of her toes. She dropped her towel and proceeded to tear his shirt off and roughly caressed him knowing she left scratches on his chest and back. He kneaded her breasts to the point of pain and she gasped and arched her back silently asking for more. She unbuttoned and unzipped his pants and started pulling them off his lean hips. He gave an impatient grunt and pulled them down the rest of the way exposing his large erection.

He turned and placed her on the edge of the bed and roughly entered her soaking entrance. They found their rhythm and Kara couldn’t control the orgasms that shook her body.
