Chapter Beautiful Russian Monster: Epilogue
“Did you feed Beatrice?” Viktor called from the mudroom.
“Yes.” I stood at the front door, watching as Viktor uncharacteristically rushed across the room and moved into the kitchen.
I couldn’t keep the glee out of my voice. “We are actually going to be late, and for the first time, it’s not going to be my fault. Remember this infamous day. I’ve been waiting my entire life for this day.”
He paused in his search and gave me a look. “You’re blaming me when you did that little striptease in front of me?”
I tried not to laugh and failed. “It’s called getting dressed.”
“Same thing, and it will always end the same way.”
“Which is?”
“Naked with your legs spread wide and your pussy begging for my cock,” he teased me with his dirty talk. Fresh lust washed over me, even though he had just spent the last two hours bringing me, repeatedly, to dizzying heights.
He interrupted my line of thought. “Where are we going, anyway?”
“To our cake tasting.” I thought of how I wanted to spread cake and icing all over him and wondered if he’d let me.
“I thought that was next week.”
“It got moved up. After that appointment, we’re meeting Andrusha and Olivia for drinks.”
He was looking for something. “Or we could just come home and finish what we started.”
That is a damn good idea. “Finish what we started? You just brought me over the finish line four times.” He opened and shut various drawers. “What are you looking for?”
“I don’t know where my cell is.”
“It’s upstairs, next to the shower.”
He blew me a kiss. “Thank you.” He took the stairs three at a time. “I’ll be right down.”
Behind me, I heard a light knock on the front door. Without a thought, I turned and opened it.
Before me stood a big man who looked familiar—in an unfamiliar way.
“Hello,” he said. “Is Viktor here?” He had an easy smile and a Russian accent.
“He’s upstairs,” I said with a curious smile. “Do I know you?”
“No, ma’am. We’ve never met.”
He reminded me of Viktor. “Who did you say you were?”
His smile widened. “I’m Axel. Viktor’s little brother.”
