Bear Fights For Donna: Book 4: Dark Rider MC Series

Chapter 9: Donna Watches And Starts To Remember

I was leaning against Bear's chest and playing with his hair. I was looking at Dove and watching her talking and laughing. I started to dose off and turned around and sat on Bear's lap with one leg on each side of his. I lay my head on his shoulder and started to doze off. I said, prospect. He walked over, can you get me a blanket? Sure he said and walked to another room. He came back carrying a light blanket and put it around me. Thank you I said falling asleep.

Does she do that often Arizona asked? Do what? Just fall asleep like that? Since we brought her home she does. She has a tight hold on your hair. She is always playing with my hair. I don't mind if it makes her happy. We have to be careful of her back. That's why she sleeps like this. I looked at the clock on the wall. Doc should be here in an hour to give her a shot. She has muscle spasms really bad if she does not get the pain shot.

Bear, it's time. We removed the blanket and doc called Donna's name. I lifted my head. Donna, I have to give you the shot now. I shook my head. Please they hurt. I know Donna but it will only take a minute. Are you ready Bear? Do it doc I said wrapping my arms around Donna so she is held still.

I watched as she lifted Donna's shirt and heard Arizona gasp. On three. One, Two, Three. She stuck the needle in Donna's back and she screamed. I felt her tears flow down her face. It's done, baby girl. I wiped the tears as doc lowered her shirt. She will sleep all night now and not have any spasms. I lay with my head on Bear's shoulder sniffing.

Soon my eyes grew heavy and I was asleep. I looked over at Arizona and saw him clenching his teeth. They did that to her? And other things. I watched as he put his head in his hands. I was listening to the men talking in quiet voices and then I heard her say. You can't make me forget him. I will never forget him. No matter what you do to me. I will remember Bear.

Then she was quiet for a while. We heard her laughing in her sleep and looked at each other. I looked down at her and said, she is sleeping. Maybe she is dreaming. Remembering something. Maybe. Again she was quiet. This is the time she remembers things. Why does she of a notebook out Arizona's VP asked? We right down anything she says trying to find a name or names.

She has not said any yet. She started mumbling again. Do you think they won't find out who you are? Devils Disciples, they will find you and they will kill you for this. Did she just say the Devils Disciples? Yes. Be quiet. Just listen. No, stop, I don't want this. He will kill you for this. Then she screamed. She started fighting me and hitting me.

Get off me, stop let go of me. She pulled my hair and the prospect had to help hold her still. Donna, Donna. Donna, wake up. Donna, it's Bear. You are a liar. You are not Bear. He would not do this to me. He loves me. Stop get off me. Then we saw her slump. Fuck she is starting to remember. This is the first time she has dreamed like this.

Bear, that is the first time she said your name. Were they trying to brainwash her into believing that you are not you but some other man was you? I saw Dove look at me. Bear, we had an older brother. Older than Ink. We were told he was killed. Do you think? No, it can't be him. Daddy told us he died in a fight with another MC.

Or he lied to us. We know that he was always in trouble and a drug addict. We need to have a serious talk with Ink and dad. We will do it tomorrow. But if he didn't die why try to make Donna think he is you? I don't know. Texas, go see what you can find out about the Devils Disciples and what was your older brother's name?

They called him Coke because that was his favorite drug. He was always getting into fights, and he killed a lot of men. I don't remember him ever being abusive toward women though. That's why this does not make sense. We will figure it out. I looked at the clock and said I am going to take Donna to bed.

I stood up and carried Donna to our room. Once there I lay her on the bed and removed her sweat pants before covering her up. I locked the door and took my cut off laying it on the chair. I text Cherokee. We need to get Donna a property patch, her road name should say little fighter as she was one hell of a fighter. On it, he texts back.

I took a shower and put on clean boxers and short before climbing into bed and turning off the lights. I drifted off to sleep holding Donna close to me.
