Hearing Connor's question, Jerome felt uneased.
Regardless of divorce or remarriage, he was reluctant.
He felt nothing when Mikayla wanted a divorce a month ago.
He thought it was fine to just get divorced.

"Jerome?" Connor called out after hearing no response from him.

Mikayla cared for him enough to remind Matilda that he didn't like his food overly

Jerome adjusted his collar and tie unconsciously, revealing a delicate tie clip.
This was given to me by Mikayla yesterday. If she didn't have feelings anymore for me, why would she give me a gift?"
Connor looked at Jerome's tie clip and felt puzzled.
"Why do I feel like this isn't her taste?"
"You never received any gifts from her. How would you know what her taste is?"
Jerome glanced at Connor coldly.
"You always boast about being experienced in love, but have you ever received a gift from
a woman?"
"Jerome... Personal attacks aren't okay." Connor stuttered.
Connor admitted that he had never received a gift from Mikayla, but her way of dressing could still give some clues.
On the other hand, Jerome refused to listen anymore.
Connor was afraid that if he continued to speak, it would cause him to lose his temper.
He had to put this "Mikayla's taste" matter to rest.
