Sinimulan kong kunin ang mga seasoning at binalik ang mga 'yun sa lalagyan. Si Wayde naman ay naglinis ng iba ko pang kalat sa lamesa.

I glared at him. I grabbed the table napkin that was displayed in the table and threw it at him. Kaagad naman niya iyong sinalo at ibinalik sa lamesa. Pinukolan ko siya ng masamang tingin pero bumalik na siya sa paglilinis. Hindi ko tuloy malaman kung sino ba ang namimikon o pikon sa aming dalawa.

"Are you challenging me, Mr. Wayde?" may panghahamon sa boses kong tinignan siya. He looked at me with the same ferocity.

"Why? Did you feel challenged?" matagal niya akong tinitigan at ngumisi. Napa-iwas ako ng tingin at nilagay ang lemon grass sa kumukulong tubig.

"If you're up for a challenge then why not?" pinagpantay ko ang tingin namin at nanunudyong tumingin sa kaniya. That would be hella exciting and fun.
