Napapikit ako sa inis at umuusok ang ilong umupo sa silya kaharap niya.

"Sa ating dalawa, ikaw ang marunong magluto. Now, cook. Don't starved your wife, Mr. Patterson." It's my turned to teased him.

Nakita kong natigilan siya at hindi napaghandaan ang sinabi ko. I just smiled and acted as if nothing happened. Wayde stood up and prepared the ingredients to cooked food.

I pursed my lips and stared at Wayde. How could he say those things in such serious but in a heartfelt manner. I never seen Wayde acted like this before and it's just ironic how it affected me big time. There's no point on denying that I already fell for him.

And I'm not sure of where it would led me, but this kind of sensation continues growing like a row of flowers in the wilderness.

The aroma of the food that Wayde cooked went through my nostrils. Mas lalo lang iyon nakakadagdag ng gutom ko at sa kumukulo kong tiyan. He must be going to work with the attire that he has now. "Aren't you busy?" tanong ko dahil sa suot niya. But even so, he looks attractive as hell.

"Should I thank you for asking that?" he asked in a mocked manner. Napangisi ako.

"Definitely," gatong ko. "Did you drive on your own?" nakakapagtakang mabilis lang siyang nakarating rito sa bahay.

"Remind me not to use my helicopter again because of me worrying about you." he said in a sarcastic tone. Napaawang ang bibig ko dahil sa sinabi niya. No way....

"Did you just..." hindi ko makapaniwalang sambit.

Inilapag niya ang sandok at hinarap ako. "What do you think heading to work and not seeing you around?" sarkastiko niyang tanong.

Napangiti ako dahil sa sinabi niya. "Who told you that I'm here?"

"Instinct." He smirked and leaned on the sink.

"What a good instinct, huh?" lumapit ako sa counter at umupo sa ibabaw niyon.

Lumapit naman si Wayde sa'kin at inilagay ang magkabilang kamay sa gilid ko. I really have a handsome husband, do I? He looks like a professor in that gesture. Pinitik niya ang noo ko kaya napahimas ako roon.
