Alpha's sweet dare

"Damn it, Viktor, I'm aware of the facts !" Drake yelled at him.

"If you are, then you know that I need Agatha to be safe", Viktor raised his voice.

"Agatha is my sister, no matter what she has done, but you must understand that she hurt the woman I love, my whole life", Drake's voice lowered.

"However, I already prepared the men and we will find those bastards, soon as possible, because Lotta is in great danger, especially now when that son of a bitch knows that she is a golden wolf", he hissed.

"Now, what about Agatha, if I may ask? Drake was suspicious.

Viktor's face went pale and serious.

He sighed deeply.

"She's my second chance mate", he slowly said, leaving Drake stunned.

"What?! Drake was in disbelief.

"I know that she doesn't want to hear about me, and she will probably reject me, but I need her to be alive and safe", Viktor said.

"Does she know that? Drake asked him.

"Yes, she does, she felt that the same day I did", Viktor answered.

"And? Drake continued.

"She acted as if nothing happened, that's why I think that she will reject me", he said.

"I'm not sure that you are right, m friend", Drake said.

"What do you mean?" Viktor asked him.

"I mean that if she wanted to reject you, she would do it already, so maybe there is still hope for you too", Drake told him.

"You said that like you don't know what your sister is capable to do, just like she whipped Lotta."

With those words, Viktor made his first mistake.

"You knew about this?! Drake was mad.

Viktor was confused and scared, he knew that he made a mistake unconsciously.

"You just told me that she hurt Lotta", he was trying to save himself.

"Yes, but I haven't told you that she whipped her", Drake's voice was deep and angry.

"I'm sorry, but there was nothing I could do, and Lotta made me not say anything, and as her friend I needed to respect that", Viktor was justifying himself.

Drake sighed and walked nervously through the office, then he sat down.

He passed with his hands, through his hair, nervously.

"I couldn't imagine what she was been through until we were fully mated and she opened up to me", he said.

"Her pain was my pain, but also, her joy was mine too, and that's why we going to save Agatha, so you two can have another chance, but my friend, you will need to work hard on that, knowing her, unless...", he didn't finish his sentence.

"Unless what?" Viktor asked.

"Unless, something has happened that changed her, and I truly hope that hasn't, no matter what", Drake's face had a worried expression.

"Anything could happen with that bastard", Viktor hissed.

"Let's hope it hasn't", Drake said to him.

"We are working on this for two days, I even buried my father in a hurry, just to catch that bastard, so help me God, I won't give up, not now", Drake raised his voice.

"I agree", Viktor said.

"Let's go, warriors are ready, and so are the others, we mustn't lose no more time", he said before they left the office in a hurry.

Drake and Viktor went upstairs, into his father's chambers to see his mother, before he went to see Lotta, but some strange feeling was hunting him.

It was too peaceful, which wasn't odd, considering the situation, but still, it was different, like everything was too empty and a strange smell was coming from his mother's room.

The door was locked, which was weird because her maid was in there with her.

He broke the door and he was shocked.

The room was crashed, with the meal on the floor and his mother's bed was empty, while the windows were wide open.

Viktor alarmed the warriors in a second, but his Alpha couldn't hide his feelings, so they already knew that something was happening.

It seemed that someone had taken her in a hurry, and that could be just one person.

He had only one thing on his mind.

Lotta.

Both of them rushed into Drake's and Lotta's chambers, and there was even worse situation.

The room was a mess because it was obvious that Lotta was fighting with someone, but she didn't have a chance.

The guards were lying dead on the floor, they were fighting with rogues, but it was obvious that there were too many, and they surprised them because they were dragged into the room, and the door was broken from outside.

There was a cloth with chloroform on the floor, which meant that she was put to sleep, and there was more than one person there.

Drake was angry as hell, and Viktor was too.

He loved Lotta too, she was his best friend, like a sister he never had.

"I will find that bastard and eat his liver", Drake hissed.

"Alpha!"Jules was running toward them.

Drake just looked at him, with the golden flame in his eyes.

He was furious at that moment.

We find a piece of a robe, near the woods, it has blood on it", Jules said in one breath.

"Give it to me!" Drake ordered, but Jules hesitated.

"What's wrong with you man give me that right now! Drakeo ordered again.

Jules gave a piece of cloth, while his hands were shaking.

"I apologize Alpha, but the scent on that cloth..." he stopped talking because it was obvious that he was shaken.

"What about him, it isn't Lunna's clothing", Drake said.

"I know that Alpha, that I was trying to say", Jules continued.

"I believe that it's a scent of my mate", he finished, worried.

Drake looked at him like he was thinking about something.

"It could be because Suzy must have been with Luna in her room when they took her", he tried to keep his voice calm.

"Suzy?"Jules asked, confused.

"The girl that helps Luna, they must have taken her too, I'm sorry Jules, but that's just another motive that we find them faster", he said, as if he was trying to calm himself, instead of Jules because the feeling that was inside him was bad, and if anything happens to Lotta, the hell will break loose.
