Crystal’s POV.
“Congrats, brother,” I yelled excitedly over the video call with Killian when he told me that he found his mate. “Thanks, Crystal,” he grinned, and I laughed this time. Finally, one of my brothers has found his mate. I’m so happy right now. “I think, I should ask William and Vincent to visit The Night Crawl Pack too. I don’t know why, but I have this hunch that they will find their mates there too,” he said further, and I raised my brows questioningly.
“That was the only pack that never participated in any events organized anywhere in our world for the last twenty years,” he explained, sensing my confusion. “This pack is not the only pack, brother,” I replied to him in a serious tone this time, and he raised his brows at me. “Let me connect Vincent and William too. If Edward is with you, ask him to join the meeting too. I need to discuss a few more things about our enemy,” I informed him in a serious tone, and he sighed helplessly.
“Okay,” he said, and I dialled William’s number. “You should let him enjoy the company of his mate for a few more days,” Theo said in a teasing tone, and I looked at him with raised brows. “You want to say that you are not happy with your mate, huh?” I asked him in a teasing tone, and he frowned immediately. He leaned towards me and whispered seductively in my ear. “Do I need to do something right now to tell you how happy I am with my mate, huh? For your information, I am very content with my mate, and she is the only one who can satisfy me in every way.” I blushed hard and jabbed in his ribcage lightly as he was sitting on the armrest of my chair.
I looked at the screen and saw Killian rolling his eyes. He had already dialled William’s number. So, we waited for him to pick up the call. “Hey, kiddo… How are you?” William greeted me cheerfully as soon as the call connected, and I laughed aloud. “I am fine, brother. tone.
“How could he do this to his own kind?” Killian roared angrily, but Edward put his hand on his shoulder, calming Killian immediately. “Calm down, brother. We can’t fight them in a fit of rage. We can have a conference after that. to discuss other things,” Vincent informed him, and Killian knitted his brows in confusion. “Hunters are using hackers against us,” William informed him, and all the lines on his forehead straightened immediately.

I am still the best,” I comforted Killian while boasting myself. “She is right,” Vincent chirped again, lightening the situation. “Our lines are still secure, and still not in their reach,” I told Killian in a confident tone. “I know that you are the best, kiddo,” he replied to me in a light tone while complimenting me. I was glad that he calmed down. All my brothers were hot–headed, and now I understand why it is difficult to deal with an alpha if he is angry. I had five alphas to deal with every day, including Theo, William, Killian, Alpha Adrian, and Theo’s father.
I am going to the Night Crawl Pack tomorrow to discuss some business with
Alpha Nelson. I guess, we can have a meeting by tomorrow evening then,” William said in a calm tone after some time. “Business?” I asked him in confusion, and he nodded. “Alpha Nelson approached me yesterday and asked me if I am interested in starting a business venture in the human world with him. He has already sent the details of his plan, and I found it profitable for us. Also, I need some more employment opportunities for my pack members, and this can be a great opportunity,” he explained, and I nodded in agreement.
“We can use this meeting to discuss our plans with him too. After all, he is the mastermind who kept tabs on them all these years, and provided us with so much. vital information that could be beneficial for us in this war,” Vincent said in a serious tone, and all of us nodded in agreement. We couldn’t deny that his involvement in this war is very crucial. I didn’t know why, but my heart always ached when I thought about his sacrifices to get all that information.
“Let’s have a meeting with Alpha Nelson later today about this. I guess I can be a part of this venture too,” Theo said to William this time, and he no Okay….

“Let’s have a meeting tomorrow morning at 9 in continuation of this meeting. Let me go through the reports that you have sent me. I am also sending you all the information that Cynthia has given me. She has collected detailed data on hybrids and their evolution,” Killian said further, and we once again congratulated him and Edward before ending the meeting.

I want to talk about Nelson with you,” he replied to me with some hesitation, and I gave him a questioning look.
“What about him?” I asked him in a calm but serious tone. “You were right that he doesn’t have an heir for his pack now,” he answered me, and I straightened my n*eck while listening to him carefully. “After my coronation, Cynthia will be crowned as my queen, and Edward’s mate will take her oath as the female beta for the royal pack,” he continued and I chewed on my inner cheeks this time.
“You know our law, Crystal. This situation makes The Night Crawl Pack vulnerable to its neighbouring pack. The pack has a vast storage of natural resources and any neighbouring pack can challenge Nelson in the coming years for the alpha position if he doesn’t announce his heir at any time soon,” he continued in a serious tone, and I just listened to him with a serious gaze.
“I don’t know why, but I feel that it will be better if you talk with him on this matter,” he said further, and I knitted my brows in confusion. “Me?” I asked him in confusion, and he nodded in response. “Yes, Crystal…..
