Chapter 65
Chapter 65
Theo’s P.O.V.
These hybrids have started attacking us, and have done a lot of damage to a few packs in the past ten days. It seemed that they are avenging someone,” an alpha said in a gloomy tone. “I agree with Alpha Asher. They nearly destroyed The Night Lotus Pack completely two days ago. If it weren’t for the timely help they got from the Night Crawl Pack, the whole pack would be killed mercilessly by those hybrids,” another alpha chimed in the same gloomy tone.
My ears perked up when I heard The Night Crawl Pack’s name. “Did you say, The
Night Crawl Pack, Alpha Benson?” Killian asked him in a calm tone, only to Night Crawl Pack, Alpha Benson?” Killian
confirm that we heard right. “Yes, my prince…. we are also surprised as The Night Crawl Pack kept itself discreet from the rest of the world all these years. Still, they managed to save a pack. Although, The Night Lotus pack has lost its half of population, but they will survive,” the alpha replied to Killian in a respected tone and explained further.
Killian looked at me while pursing his l*ps into a thin line. “Are all the alphas present here?” the king asked in a light tone, and everyone started looking around at the other screens. “No, my king…. All the alphas are not present here,” Alpha Brooke informed him this time in a respected tone. “Who is absent?” Killian asked him curiously this time. Alpha Brooke was responsible for the attendance, and making sure that all the alphas joined the video conference today.
“The Black Swan Pack…. their alpha…. Alpha Noel is absent,” Brooke informed us in a calm tone. “Alpha Noel?” I murmured in a confused tone while looking at Killian. He didn’t answer me, but signalled that we would talk about this later. “We need more bullets to deal with both hybrids and vampires, my king. I am proposing to start two more factories in different packs so that we will have enough bullets to fight with them,” Alpha John requested in a calm tone this time.
“Do you have any pack in your mind who can help us in this matter, Alpha John,” I asked him in a calm tone. It was also on my mind. Presently only The Blood Moon Pack and my pack were producing those bullets, but the production was limited. We need to modify the bullets and also to increase production. “Yes, Alpha Theo…. The Black Hawk Pack and The White Moon Pack are near the human settlement and have some commercial places in the human world. They can start two factories in the human settlement by using human manpower,” he replied to me while proposing his suggestion.
*I think his suggestion makes sense. I also have the same thing in my mind,”
Chapter 03)
Crystal mind linked with me and told me her agreement with Alpha John. “What did you say, Alpha Ethan,” the king asked the alpha of The Black Hawk Pack. “I have no problem with this arrangement, my king. Using humans in these factories will reduce our exposure to these lethal chemicals,” Alpha Ethan replied to the king.
“Did you find anything unusual yet?” I asked Crystal through MindLink. “None yet… Everyone has their secrets, and their plans for their future, but I found nothing that could be against the Royal Pack or the king,” she answered me with a sigh this time.
“Keep on looking, love. I am sure that you will be able to find something soon,” I encouraged her in a loving tone. “I really wish so, Theo,” she replied to me with a sigh. “Ask Vincent too,” I instructed her in a gentle tone. “I don’t know why, but I have this hunch that the
hybrids are following a pattern,” one of those alphast suddenly said in a confused tone, and I narrowed my eyes too.
“Care to explain, Alpha Harriot,” the king asked him in a calm tone, and Alpha Harriot cleared his throat. “I am switching my camera towards the map board, my king,” he informed the king and the king nodded to him, giving him permission to do what he wanted. We all silently watched him, and I was now curious to know what he wanted to tell us.
“First of all,” Alpha Harriot spoke once again while pointing to the middle of the map. He had a long stick in his hand this time. “These hybrids with vampires appeared near the Night Crawl Pack from time to time in the past few years. The Night Crawl Pack, however, managed to keep them safe, but it was not the case. here. After that, they started appearing in front of all the strong packs one by one as if they want to assess our abilities and our strength,” he explained further, and my eyes widened in surprise.
After that they randomly showed themselves around other packs all around the world,” he marked a few more places on the map, making me narrow my eyes. “Then they started circling The Crescent Mon Pack in the past few weeks. They appeared here… here… here,” he marked a few areas on the map around my pack, and I chewed on my cheeks when I realized they were indeed following a pattern.
“If my calculation is right, then their next target will be The Blood Moon Pack,” he continued, and my eyes widened in shock. “Let them come to us. We are already prepare for this war,” William said in a calm tone, but I could feel the coldness hiding in his tone. “This is not about whether we are prepared or not, Alpha William….. These hybrids have lost their humanity and they see us as a blood bag. Nothing can be changed in their b*dy now. I have sent you the report that my
Chaser of
spies sent to me about the attack on The Night Lotus Pack. We need some advancement in bullets if we want to defeat them,” Alpha John tried to make William understand the situation clearly.
“How many packs are not in this meeting, Alpha John?” the king asked in a calm tone. “Uhhhh…. Seven packs, including the two that got attacked in the past three days, my king,” he informed the king in a calm tone, but I raised my brows in surprise. Seven was a big number. “Did you try to contact them?” the king asked him again in a calm tone. “Yes, my king…. three of them didn’t pick up the call….. two confirmed attacks, and two have some sort of emergency in their packs,” Alpha John briefly explained the situation.
“Send the names of these seven packs to Killian,” the king instructed him in a calm, but stern tone. “Did it include The Night Crawl Pack?” Killian asked him this time. “No, my prince,” he answered him immediately. “Why not? That pack is also absent, right?” Killian asked him in a stern tone. “The Night Crawl has been absent from all the important or emergency meetings are events for the past twenty years, my prince. So, we always exclude this pack,” Alpha John answered him in a polite, but firm tone.
“He is still a part of our community,” Killian replied immediately in a stern tone. Everyone lowered their heads, but I could confusion and disappointment on their faces. “I know that The Night Crawl Pack has some involvement in the development of these hybrids, and that’s why, you all have some resentments, and hatred towards that pack, and I don’t have any questions or complaints about that. We all have lost our dear ones during the rogues and vampire attacks, and I can understand your feelings because we also have lost our dear ones,” Killian addressed to all of them in a firm, and calm tone, just like a king.
“The Night Crawl Pack was always like this, my prince. Alpha Nelson is still a far better alpha than their previous alpha. At least he cares about his pack, and his people,” Alpha Brooke said this time, and I raised my brows. “Check Alpha Brooke first. Try to find out any connection between him, and alpha Nelson,” I mind- linked Crystal immediately.
“Already on it,” she answered me in a calm tone. I sighed internally while shaking my head lightly. “Alpha Brooke, I request for a personal meeting with you after this meeting. Please spare some time for that, and inform my beta,” Killian requested. him, and he immediately nodded in response. “Okay, my prince,” he confirmed in a respectful tone. Although, they were older than both me and Killian, Killian was their prince.
About establishing the factories…. Alpha Harriot,” Killian continued and called

request you to take responsibility for this project and work with the packs you suggested. I will wait for your proposal. Do it as soon as possible,” he instructed him, and a small smile appeared on Alpha Harriot’s face. “Include the budget in your proposal too,” Killian continued in a firm and calm tone.
“Also, we are arranging a special training session for the twenty–five best warriors including the next line of alphas in the Royal Pack starting the next week to train them against these hybrids. This will be for fifteen days. Please submit the list of chosen warriors, and the next line of alphas above fifteen for this training session to the Royal Beta,” Killian instructed all of them the next.
“What about helping attacked packs, my
Killian answered him in the same tone. Everyone had a satisfactory smile on their l*ps this time. I could say that Killian will be a better king than his father. I had no grudge against our king but the way he handled his mate’s kidnapping case had disappointed me the most.

“Alpha William, and Alpha Theo,” Killian called both of us this time. “Yes, my prince,” both of us immediately responded in unison. “I assign both of you to take care of these packs and help them in every way. Ensure their safety too, as they are in their most vulnerable state right now,” Killian instructed us in a firm tone.
“Let’s have the second meeting on Sunday afternoon, and we will discuss the progress. Also, whoever packs hasn’t had security cameras all around their pack borders, I order you all to finish this security process as soon as possible. This is mandatory for all the packs. Also,” he instructed all of us in a calm tone but paused at the end.
“Those packs who are closed to any vampire coven, keep your eyes on their activities, especially about them bringing any human or a werewolf to their coven.” He finished his instruction, and everyone immediately confirmed his command in unison. “Let’s fight with our unknown enemies and show them that we were the best, we are the best, and we will be the best,” he finished the meeting while pumping aggression in our veins. Everyone howled in unison before ending the conference.
“Do you think that they had sufficient time?” I asked Killian immediately, who had a stern look at his face this time. We were sitting in his office, and his father was attending this meeting from his office. “Vincent asked me to finish this meeting within half an hour or else they will notice the infiltration in their systems,” Killian answered me, and I nodded in understanding this time. “Let’s have lunch before we resume our meeting with Crystal and Vincent. I am hungry,” Killian said further and stood up from his chair.
“What’s bothering you, Killian?” I asked him in a calm tone while standing up. He took a deep breath and looked out of the window with a blank face. “He said that Nelson is a better alpha than my grandfather. If Nelson became the bad man to protect my mother then what did my father do all these years?” he said in a blank tone. I took a deep breath, not knowing how to comfort him right now. “Nelson did everything after discussing with your father,” I spoke after a tense silence of a few seconds between us. “Still Nelson is the only one who did everything to keep my mother safe. He even took all the pain of transformation, only to keep my mother hidden,” Killian said in a bitter tone, and I felt anger radiating from his
aura.
“Calm down, Killian. What they did or what they did not do is not our concern now. We already have so much on our plate to deal with.” I patted his shoulder, trying to distract him, and he took a deep breath. “I…. I don’t know why but I am having this feeling, and even Blake is not sure about what we are feeling about Nelson,” he said with some uneasiness. “What is it?” I asked him while knitting my brows. “Nelson did everything for my mother, who is his ex–mate. Don’t you feel something fishy about this statement? My mother got her second chance, but he didn’t. Is this possible?” He put his confusion in front of me, and I chewed on my inner cheeks while processing what exactly was going on inside his h
