Crystal’s POV
You
“You have to go the Crescent Moon Pack, Crystal. The prince is coming to attend Adam’s alpha and mating ceremony. can’t go in front of him. Tell everyone that you want to look for your mate in your aunt’s pack as you didn’t find your mate here, in this pack, alpha Adrian asked me in a calm tone and I nodded to him.
To be honest, I also wanted to go away from here. I didn’t want to see Adam taking over the alpha title and lying to everyone that Rachel was his fated mate. Our mate bond had already severed and I couldn’t feel anything now, still I was reluctant to see that cheating couple.
“I got it, alpha. I will tell everyone the same thing. I already have promised Theo that I will visit him and this will be a good excuse for me,” I replied to him in the same calm tone.
“He is also an alpha, Crystal. You should start giving him the respect that he really deserves for him,” alpha Adrian scolded me in a worried tone and I just grinned.
“He is an alpha and the ruthless one, I agree. Still he is my brother and I know that he loves m
in the same way,“I answered him in a cheerful tone. He sighed in defeat and shook his head in disappointment. I knew the pack hierarchy. But I knew Theo too.
“You will not change, Crystal,” he said further and I just grinned from ear to ear.
“Okay… now go home and get ready to go to your aunt’s pack. I have already talked to her and now she is waiting for you there,” he instructed me and I nodded before standing up from the chair.
I bowed my head in front of him before leaving his office. My father was not here. I walked straight towards the living room as our Luna Elena, alpha Adrian’s mate, asked me to meet her before going back to my home. I stopped when I saw Adam and Rachel sitting with her on the couch, clinging to each other.
“Crystal… come here, honey,” I was about to go when Luna Elena called me in a cheerful tone.
I took a deep breath and then looked at her with a small smile. I walked near them, without looking at Adam and Rachel. “Are you really going to visit Silvia?” she asked me while taking my hand in her hand and made me sit near her on the couch.
“Yes, Luna… Theo also asked me to come there, and also I want to look for my mate there,” I told her the same reason that alpha Adrian asked me to tell everyone.
“Theo… as in alpha Theo Blakefield?” Rachel asked me in a surprised tone, and I looked at her.
“Yes, Luna. Theo Blakefield, the future alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack,” I replied to her in a formal tone, and she scoffed.
“He is such an arrogant bastard,” she spat venom against Theo and I immediately stood up from the couch, balling up my fists tightly while glaring at her.
“You should think what you are going to say, Luna, before speaking ill for someone. He is my cousin and I can’t tolerate any disrespect towards any of my brothers,” I said to her in a cold and angry tone. She immediately stood up and the next second, her hand was on my n*eck.
“Rachel, both Adam and Luna Elena yelled. I locked my gaze with her and put my hand on her wrist on my n*eck.
“How dare you open your mouth in front of me, huh? Don’t forget that I am your future Luna and you are nothing but a trash, a weakling who even didn’t shift on time,” she spat and I raised my brows in surprise at first but then realized the source of this shit.
The corner of my l*ps curled up and I tightened my grip on her wrist while tilting my head a little. She tightened my grip on my n*eck and I tightened my grip on her wrist.
“Rachel leave her… Leave her, Adam tried to remove her hand from my n*eck while yelling at her angrily. Luna Elena also tried to pull me away from Rachel.
“I told you to think what you are going to say before opening your mouth, Rachel. It seems that you are not only arrogant but dumb also,” I taunted at her while tightening my grip on her wrist. Her eyes widened in shock and her expression changed from anger to pain.
She looked at me at shock but my gaze was still as cold as it should be at her. Luna was trying to come out to teach her a lesson but I controlled her and asked her to stay away this time. Rachel hissed in pain and her grip on my n*eck loosened. “How… how can this be possible?” she exclaimed in pain and tried to yank her wrist from my grip.
“What’s going on here?” suddenly alpha Adrian’s angry voice boomed the room. I sighed and threw her hand away.
“She… she attacked me,” Rachel yelled and I rolled my eyes.
“You are the one who attacked her, Rachel. You should ashamed on yourself. At first, you insulted Theo and then you had. the audacity to attack Crystal in front of me. I am highly disappointed in you,” Luna Elena scolded her for lying and attacking me. I lowered my gaze and Luna Elena immediately pulled me in her embrace.
“Are you alright, Crystal. Let me see your n*eck,” she asked me and then lifted my chin up to see my n*eck.
“I am alright, Luna, I should go now. I have to pack up.” I assured her with a smile. She looked at me worriedly and I blinked with a smile to ensure her that I was really okay.
“I am really disappointed in you, Rachel. You are lucky enough that you are my son’s mate or else, you wouldn’t like the consequences of your action. This is the first and the last time that you speak ill about Theo and attacked my pack member, I will let Adam decide how to deal with you this time,” Alpha Adrian said to Rachel. I didn’t look at them, but looked at alpha Adrian.
I put my hand on his arm. He looked at me angrily but his expression immediately softens as his gaze felt on my n*eck. “Are you hurt, Crystal?” he asked me in a worried tone. I smiled and nodded. “I am alright, alpha, Just make her understand one thing that I might be not at the same rank with her but I know how to protect the people whom I love the most. She disrespected my brother and this is the last time that I tolerated. There will be no next time for her,” I replied to alpha Adrian in a calm but dominant tone. He sighed and cupped my face.
“Calm down, Crystal. There will not be any next time,” he assured me in a calm tone and I smiled. I then removed from his arm. I bowed in front of alpha Adrian and Luna Elena before leaving the place.

“You saw her? How arrogant she is. I am her future Luna and you are her future alpha. Still she didn’t” I heard Rachel throwing a tantrum behind me but I didn’t pay attention to her as alpha Adrian roared at her angrily this time. I opened my fists and sighed when I saw blood there. She really got on my nerves.
“Crystal,” I stopped in my tracks and closed my eyes, once again balling up fists at either side of my b*dy. I opened my eyes when he came closer to me.
“Is there anything else, alpha Adam that I can do for you?” I asked him in a cold, and formal tone while looking straight into his eyes. His eyes were glued on my n*eck. My wolf, Luna, scoffed and retreated at the back of my mind.
“What exactly your relation with Theo?” he asked me after some time and I raised my brow in surprise again.
“I don’t understand how this is your concern, alpha. You should be concerned about your fated (I taunted him with this word) mate who is going to bring some very serious problems for you with the fortune that you are expecting from her,” I replied to her in a mocking tone. He glared at me but I just smirked.
“I am your future alpha, Crystal. You have to show some respect to me,” he demanded and I put my index finger on my chin, pretending to be surprised,
“Is that so, alpha Adam? Then I have to think about leaving this pack. I am sure that Theo will welcome me in hir pack happily. I only need to tell him what your fated mate ( once again emphasized mockingly) blabbered about him.” I threatened him in a sweet tone, and his eyes widened in shock. He just kept on staring at me and I stood tall in front of him with my head high.
“You are going to find your mate there?” he asked me again after some time and I groaned loudly this time.
“Yes… I want to find my mate there. I also want to settle down and I am sure that my mate will embrace me happily,” I taunted him again and a nasty smirk appeared on his face that made me jerk my head in confusion.
“Who will want a wolfless mate, huh?” he taunted me and I narrowed my eyes in confusion.
“Who told you that am wolfless?” I asked him in confusion and his smirk went wide.
“You didn’t shift on your eighteenth birthday,” he answered me and now I frowned. “Yeah… I didn’t shift because I was tired and I didn’t need to shift just because it was my birthday,” I answered him, but I was still confused why he called me wolfless.
“You forgot that normally the wolves shift on their eighteenth birthday for the first time,” Luna answered my confusion and I moved my n*eck circular before looking at Adam flatly this time. Luna released her aura that she always kept mask so that no one could sense her. He stiffened and sniffed harder.
“You… you have a wolf?” he asked me in shock and I rolled my eyes.
“Of course I have a wolf, alpha Adam, and she is more arrogant than me,” I answered him flatly and Luna laughed harder at the back of my mind.
“Go and take care of your mate, alpha Adam, I am no concern of yours and don’t have any intention to stay here to see the facade of yours,” I taunted him again in a sassy tone this time and before he could say anything to me, I moved and continued walking towards my home. All I wanted was to go away from here as soon as possible.
