Chapter 166 

Killian’s POV 

I felt that I was sitting on pins and needles. Cynthia was holding my hand to comfort me, but I was not calm. I should have been here a few days earlier, but I couldn’t come because of the vampires once again. William and Vincent found my second sister, they lost their parents for the sake of both my sisters, and I was absent all that time. 

“Calm down, Killian. You are also a king now. Your anxiety is affecting everyone present in the pack, including Ivory,” Cynthia scolded me in a hushed tone. I immediately looked at her worriedly, and shè glared at me. 

“She is right, Killian. I just came out of her room. It seemed that someone was choking her. Her wolf is still about to surface. So, she is only a human till now,” William told me in a calm tone, but there was a hint of accusation in his tone. He looked pissed off. 

“I… I am sorry,” I muttered while lowering my eyes and taking a deep breath. “We can calm her by using our aura as her king. We are also her brother, Blake suggested, and I immediately agreed with him. 

I looked towards the stairs when I felt Crystal’s presence. I stood up from the couch and spread my hands in the air when she ran towards me. “Brother,” she called me in a choked tone while throwing herself into my embrace. I hugged her tightly. She sniffed harder while holding me tightly. 

“I am sorry, sweetie…. I am really sorry. I am late,” I apologized to her in a tone filled with guilt and regret. They left us, Killian… they left us,” she complained to me in a choked tone, making me tighten my grip on her once again. 

“They are still with us, Crystal… they always be in our hearts until our last breath. They don’t leave us…. they are still with us,” I comforted her in a gentle tone while looking at a blank spot on the floor as my head was hanging low. 

She sniffed a few more times. Blake released some of his energy to comfort her. I could say that she had been crying for a long time. Her eyes were completely swollen due to continuous crying. I kept on stroking her back gently to comfort her. I heard a few sniffs coming from Cynthia too. 

After a good few minutes, Crystal slowly moved away from me. I k*ssed her forehead before. releasing her from my embrace. “It was hard on you,” I whispered to her, but she only sniffed in response. 

“The vampires have decided to wake up one of their ancestors in hibernation. We were in constant battle with them to keep them away from our world. To wake up one of them, they need a few things, including the blood of the previous king. Marcus is dead, and his b*dy is already burned. So, I told her in a serious tone and paused at the end. 

Her face went stern immediately, and she nodded in response. The only good thing was that no one except our families knew that Crystal and Ivory were hybrids transformed because of Marcus‘

I nodded in response, completely agreeing with her. Adam was on par with Theo now. Theo was an ancient wolf, holding some special powers because of his wolf, and Adam got all his powers after being a hybrid. But it didn’t matter who they got their strength and powers. The key point was that both of them could protect their loved ones and the people around them. 

“Can I meet Ivory?” I asked Crystal in a low and cautious tone. “Why not…. you are his brother….. And this is the time for her to know her relationships with all of us. For now, I am going to introduce you, William, Vincent, and Adam to her. She should know that some men in the world will protect her with all their strengths, and you four are the first line of defence for her,” she replied to me in a calm tone, and I smiled faintly. 

She then looked at Cynthia, and they both hugged each other tightly. “I am sorry, Crystal.” Cynthia also apologized to her. Crystal didn’t say a word, but she tightened her grip on Cynthia. I looked at William and Theo, who were also standing near the staircase. 

“Where are my parents?” I asked them when I didn’t see my parents after coming here. “They are in a meeting with Queen Elizabeth,” William informed me with a sigh. I frowned but looked at Vincent who suddenly changed his expression into a sad one. “Queen Elizabeth’s third daughter is his mate,” William told me in a teasing tone, and my eyes widened in shock. 

Vincent immediately glared at him, making both William and Theo chuckle together. I felt pity for this brother of mine. The witches couldn’t feel a mate bond as strongly as we werewolves. So, that witch didn’t need to acknowledge Vincent as her mate. 

“Let’s go, brothers….. It’s time to meet your sister,” Crystal said to us in a firm tone. I took a deep breath and looked at William and Vincent. They were anxious, just like me. Ivory didn’t have a good impression of the male population. This was what William said when he explained what she suffered all these years. It was enough for me to want to kill all those people once again. 

We all followed Crystal towards Ivory’s room. I raised my brows in surprise when we stopped outside Adam’s room. I frowned and looked at William in confusion. He cleared his throat and slowly leaned towards me when Crystal knocked on the door. 

“I… forgot to tell you that Ivory is Adam’s mate,” he whispered to me, and my eyes widened in shock. I snapped my head towards him with the same expression, and he blinked with a pitiful expression on his face. 

“What the hell? Did he really fated to our sisters?” Blake grumbled, and I immediately nodded in agreement. At first, he was Crystal’s mate, and now he is mated to Ivory? What was the Moon Goddess thinking before giving Ivory him as her mate?

We all entered the room behind Crystal. “Crystal.” Suddenly, a weak cry took me off guard, making me startled. A weak figure jumped on Crystal out of the blue, and Crystal held her tightly in her embrace. 

“Did he bully you?” Crystal asked her in a gentle tone, but she glared at Adam, who was sitting on at chair in a corner of the room. He looked at her helplessly with a pitiful look. “She didn’t let him come close to her. So, he has to sit there all this time,” Blake told me in an amusing tone. 

“No… he… he didn’t, the girl in Crystal’s embrace answered her in a trembling tone. “She is Ivory….. our second sister,” Blake said again in a tone filled with heartbreak. “He can’t bully you, my love… he is meant to protect you.. I told you this, right?” Crystal asked her in a motherly tone. 

“Our sister is grown up in a few days,” Blake grumbled again with the same tone, filled with heartbreak. I couldn’t do anything but agree with him. William and Vincent also glared at Adam at the same time. It was a tendency of a brother, not to accept his sister’s mate so easily. 

“Now…. This is time to meet our brothers, Ivory. They are all here to meet you,” Crystal said to Ivory in the same tone. “William…a… and Vincent?” Ivory asked her in the same trembling tone, but she was calm now. 

Crystal slowly moved her away from her, and this time, I saw her face. My heart skipped a beat when I realized the resemblance between me and Ivory, “I told you that we have a biological brother too who is also our king, right?” Crystal asked her and Ivory bobbed her head immediately while looking at Crystal with a curious and innocent gaze.

a nervous smile on my face. Ivory immediately scooted near Crystal while looking at me with a fearful gaze. Now I understand Adam’s heartache. 

The person who should trust us without any problem is scared of us the most. “Don’t be afraid. He is our brother… our biological brother… he will always protect us in the future. Just like others… he also didn’t know about our existence until a year ago when I met him for the first time.
