Chapter 71 Fighting Alone
I gritted my teeth and moved my legs in the direction of the king's palace, but after only a few steps, I collapsed on the ground.
Everything that my eyes could see was slowly falling into darkness, and all the sounds that my ears could hear were moving away from me. Eventually, even the pain in my body was slowly disappearing, and I couldn't see anything around me or hear anything.
"Kasha!"
I opened my eyes again, and I seemed to be floating in the air, and Bella's voice came from beside me.
My body slowly fell, I looked sideways, I was lying on the water, my movement made the water fluctuate, but it did not let me sink.
Bella was sitting next to me, and the water reflected her.
She looked at me tenderly and held out her wolf paw to me.
"Am I still alive?" I asked, holding out my hand to her.
"Of course, and you will be the most powerful werewolf, Kasha, and you will fulfill your destiny and get it all back on track, because, you are Kanas' daughter!" Bella said to me in a gentle yet firm tone. No sooner had she finished her words than I saw her body releasing a snow-white glow, which then traveled along her claws and into my body.
"Bella, what's going on?" I looked at her nervously, but I couldn't pull my hand away.
After the light entered my body, a cool comforting feeling came and all that burning sensation in my body disappeared. After that, I felt a powerful surge of power in my body.
After the light disappeared, Bella also collapsed on the surface of the water, very weak.
"Go on, Kasha, don't worry about me, I just need to sleep for a while, I will always be with you." Bella finished speaking, slowly closed her eyes, and her body was gradually swallowed by the water. "Bella!"
I wanted to pull her, but it was like an invisible wall in front of me, so I couldn't touch her, and could only watch her sink into the water.
The calm water began to fluctuate and soon formed a huge wave lapping at me. The current washed me into the air, and I felt no pain, but I was moving further and further away from Bella.
When I opened my eyes, everything around me became clearer than ever before. I could even hear the sounds of killing in the palace, and could smell the flowers and plants on the distant mountains, including the smell of which plant they came from.
The power in my body surged like a tsunami, and I stood up and looked in the direction of the palace.
It was time for everything to end!
I transformed into a wolf and ran in the direction of the royal palace.
On my snow-white fur, there were more golden stripes.
Running through the river shallows, I inadvertently saw my own shadow, and my eyes had also become golden. The golden lines and the snow-white fur also blended together perfectly, as if I was originally supposed to look like this. I didn't have time to take a closer look and ran faster towards the royal palace.
When I appeared at the outermost gate of the palace, not only the rouge, but also the guards of the palace froze and stopped moving to look at me.
I stood still and let out a hiss, the sound echoing throughout the sky.
I had no partner and no reinforcements, only myself.
Just like when I lost Kanas and Tina, but this time, I knew what I was fighting for.
To avenge the death of my family!
To take back my loved ones and my home!
For the glory of my father!
I took one step in the direction of the palace gates, and the rouge was surprisingly retreating backwards, and the guards were pulling back towards the palace.

"Where is Sotto?" I asked, lowering my voice.
The guards and freedmen glanced in the direction of the palace.
He was indeed there!
I ran quickly, through the palace gates, and darted toward the king's palace.
Outside the gates of the palace, I saw Sotto, who was sitting in the doorway drinking coffee, and beside him was the king, who had been tortured to death.
"Sotto, you are also a werewolf, so let's follow the rules of werewolves, I challenge you!" I looked at Sotto and said.
"Very well, just let me see if you are perfect enough as an experiment."
Sotto was not angered by me, but stood up with a smile, took off his jacket and threw it on the chair.
At the moment he transformed, I realized that he was a black wolf.
But on his body, there were the same golden stripes as mine.
He actually used himself as an experiment too!
"Kasha, it's surprising, right? I knew you would do this when you grabbed the potion, I didn't stop you because I wanted to see if you, with the snow wolf gene, would be as powerful as I thought." Sotto slowly walked towards me and said with a hideous grin.
"I'll smash your head in!" I roared low at Sotto and lunged at him.
But I also realized that he was faster than me, and I couldn't even see him move before he was already running behind me.
"Looks like you're a failed experiment." Sotto taunted me.
The moment I turned around, he swung his claws and knocked me away.

Despite my defensive efforts, I was no match for his speed, leaving a deep wound on my shoulder. I felt no pain, but the blood from the wound flowed down my front paws to the ground.
Sotto stood in front of me and provocatively tasted the blood on his paws with his tongue.
"Kasha, you can't win against me, and no one will come to your aid; the cowards have long since gone into hiding. I can give you one last chance to be loyal to me and make you the Alpha of all the pack," Sotto said with a cold smile. "That does sound tempting, but unfortunately, I have no interest whatsoever!" I said to Sotto as I glanced at the wound on my shoulder.
"The last person who said that to me is dead, and that person, was your father." Sotto said with a smile.
I certainly didn't forget that Takri was his man.
I had to end the fight as soon as possible, otherwise, keeping bleeding like this would also make me die of shock.
Sotto was not only powerful, he was also faster than me. At this absolute disadvantage, I had little chance of winning against him.
But I would never bow down to him.
I charged toward him again, and Sotto gave me a cold smile.
As I was about to enter the range of his attack, I immediately reversed my direction.
This time, instead of hitting me, Sotto got a gash on his body from my claws. But compared to the wounds he inflicted, it could not be considered damage at all.
Sotto wasn't angry, but rather more excited.
"That was fun, but you're still too weak to make me interested in fighting you." Sotto laughed and taunted me.
I gritted my teeth and glared at him, the black wolves' advantage in speed was not only because they were faster than other packs, they also had better stamina. Although the snow wolves had better stamina than the black wolves, the speed difference was another disadvantage.
I seemed to have thought of the tactics I should employ.
