Alpha's Fated Slave Mate

Chapter 69 Beliefs

I sat alone in my room, Adri never came back, before he left and refused my request to follow him.

He was as cold as the first time we met.

I don't know what method he used, but he did ask about Joslin's whereabouts.

Senge told him that Joslin had left Navia and returned to the Freeman's Club with the rest of the wolves.

Sotto immediately tells Adri to take the rouge and find Joslin and to bring her back alive.

Adri returns to her room and hurriedly sorts through the weapons she has with her.

"What would you do if you saw your son?" I asked, standing behind him.

"I don't have a child." Adri said and walked out, and I was suddenly sad inside.

Sotto didn't ask me to go with Adri too, but I had to stop him from hurting anyone at the club.

Dr. Jason's potion hadn't worked yet, and he still needed the most crucial step, which was my berserk gene.

I walked into the lab and Jason gestured for me to lie down.

He put an oxygen mask on me and then controlled a needle on a robotic arm to pierce my body. I grimaced in pain and made muffled noises as the needle penetrated deeper.

Jason looked at the computer screen as if he were looking at a treasure that was about to be completed, his eyes glistening.

The needle went all the way into the crevices of my bones, and the pain was so intense that it almost made me pass out.

The time seemed to get extraordinarily long and the pain became more intense.

The needles were removed and I lay on that bed breathing heavily to make the pain as easy as possible for myself.

Jason was busy at the lab bench, and at this time, he didn't care about what was going on around him, even if someone were to kill him right now, he wouldn't react.

He had long since become a laboratory lunatic.

I slowly sat up to look at Jason, who continued making the potion very carefully until I saw the liquid in the test tube turn light gold.

He had done it!

"Great! I finally....."

The moment Jason turned around, I punched him hard in the back of the head and Jason fell to the ground before he could finish his sentence.

I took a look at everything in the lab, there was a row of test tubes with the skeleton logo on them, picked up the test tubes and I injected all that liquid into Jason's body.

The moment he succeeded in making this potion, he was already doomed to not live.

I poured the liquid from the test tube into a bottle and put it in my shirt pocket.

Jason's body began to twist and twitch, looking very painful. I dragged him into the small room, closed the door, and left pretending to be very weak.

I left the shelter before Sotto found out. I didn't know where Senge was being held, and going to find him would only waste more time.

After leaving the shelter, I made a mad dash for the Freedmen's Club. I hoped to get back before Adri, William was still there and I would never allow anyone to hurt him. When I got back to the Freeman's Club, Joslin was already fighting with Adri. Freeman was also fighting rouge, but I didn't see William.

I glanced at the potion in my hand, and after a moment's hesitation, I put it back in my pocket.

After transforming, I rushed towards Adri's direction.

Seeing me appear, Joslin was a little surprised, but Adri took advantage of Joslin's distraction to knock her out.

I swung my claws and knocked Adri to the ground, even though I didn't want to do that.

"Kasha! How dare you betray me?" Adri stood up, her eyes filled with rage.

"Don't you understand that Sotto is trying to use you to kill everyone who opposes him, once you said you would kill him, and now you're fighting for him, don't you think it's ridiculous?" Adri and I fought, and I yelled in his ear. He and I then landed in two directions, with Joslin right beside me.

"Joslin, take William and get out of here, thank you." I said to Joslin.

"What? Kasha, it's simply impossible for you alone......"

"There is nothing impossible! You should believe that as a mother, even the most tender person can become strong!" I said as I interrupted her. "Kasha......"

"Take my children and get out of here!" I said raising my voice to Joslin as Adri rushed at me once more.

I could feel his murderous aura, he wanted to kill me.

But I must not let myself fall here!

The moment I collided with Adri, the powerful impact sent me and him flying in opposite directions, and I rolled several times on the ground before stopping.

Adri staggered to his feet, and I glanced at the wound on my body, not feeling any pain, even though it was bleeding.

Before attacking him, I once again tried to establish mental communication with him.

Adri fell to the ground in pain at once, struggling and rolling on the ground with his paws clutching his head.

I lunged at him and knocked him out before he could react.

The rouge saw this scene and flocked to me.

I stood my ground and watched the rouge and all the objects turn red.

"Kasha, as a chief, not only must you be strong enough, but more importantly, a firm belief, that is a courage that will not back down even in the face of countless enemies."

The words my father once said to me came to my mind. At that time, I was very young and could not understand what he meant, but now, I seemed to understand.

I let out a hiss and rushed towards the rouge.

The rouge were numerous, but they were like a flock of newly hatched chicks, unable to do any damage to me.

I weaved in and out of the rouge, tearing them apart with my fangs and claws, the smell of blood getting stronger and stronger, all from the rouge.

They kept changing tactics, but this kind of thing, for me, has no meaning.

The number of rouge decreased dramatically, and the remaining rouge chose to flee. I caught up with the fleeing rouge and killed them all.

Sotto will soon know that I killed Jason and took the potion, and he will definitely send the rouge after me.

I had to lure him somewhere else.

I thought of the river outside of Navia City and used it as my final battleground.

With my target set, I looked at the rouge bodies all over the place and carried Adri on my back.

Before heading to Navia City, I sent Adri back to the villa where he used to live.

Then, I headed to Navia alone.

Along the way, I made various marks so that rouge would know where I was.

High in the mountains outside Navia City, the roof of the palace could be seen across the city, like a shining jewel among the ruins.

I didn't know where all those communities had gone, and they might all have been completely disappointed in me.

This battle, only myself, and countless rouge.
