Chapter 59 Roasted Werewolf
"But we might also inhale the powder, and I don't want to be here with them looking at bubbles!" I said to Charles.
"Of course I won't let you get poisoned, so there's this!" Charles pulled out two small clips, and when I saw them, I looked at him with suspicion. "I think we can come up with a plan B." I said to him.
"Trust me." Charles said to me.
I helplessly took a clip and clamped my nose in it, God knows how funny I looked now.
Charles walked ahead of me, the elevator was no longer working, so I had to walk up the stairs to the ninth floor.
But from the third floor onwards, there was already a rouge guarding it, we couldn't break through, that would alert the other rouges.
"Climb up from the outside, but hopefully you won't run out of energy before you reach the ninth floor." Charles said to me.
He flipped out the window and jumped upward as if he were swinging with the help of the windowsill projecting between each floor.
I glanced down, and the distance between the floor and the ground seemed to be shortened in the darkness. Although my speed is much slower than Charles, but at least I can ensure that I will not fall because of a mistake.
When I jumped to the eighth floor, through the window, I saw a young woman inside getting ready to take a shower. When she looked back, she froze for two seconds as she looked at me. I stopped moving to look at her, too, and kept signaling her not to yell before she made a sound. She slowly moved closer to me and opened the window.
"Are you here to save me?" She asked, lowering her voice.
I hesitated and nodded to her.
"You come with me." She said to me.
I went through the window and entered the room through the bathroom, which was still in its original form.
"You were taken here?" I inquired of her.
"Yes, I've been living here. eiger took my family and threatened to kill them if I didn't obey him. I made an excuse to come back and take a shower to find a way to save my family." She replied.
"Eiger is the leader here? Where is he now?" I inquired of her.
"Just upstairs in his room, but there is rouge there, I can find a way to get them out." She said to me.
"How are you going to do that?" I looked at her, the girl looked about my age, but she wasn't a werewolf.
"I'll go up to Eiger and get his guards to leave, the signal will be the sound of banging on the glass."
The girl finished, changed into a white nightgown, and nodded to me.
I remembered that Charles was still outside and climbed out the window. charles climbed to the tenth floor and stood on the balcony looking down at me.
"What's wrong?" Charles asked, looking at me.
"Nothing, but we should have an ally, there's a girl who will help us."
I said to Charles, now we just have to stay here and wait for her signal.
It wasn't long before something hit the glass of the window with a dull thud.
"It's now!"
I jumped from the balcony to the ninth floor ledge, kicked the glass with both feet, and entered the room. On the room's bed, a skinny man was pinning the girl from earlier to the bed, tearing a slit in her nightgown to reveal her white thighs.

Before he reacted, I put the powder Charles gave me directly over his face, while taking one of the clothes on the bed to the girl to cover her face.
The girl understood and rushed to cover her mouth and nose with her hands clutching the clothes.
He just came back to his senses and tried to struggle, but his body was already limp on the floor, and Charles entered the room.
I took off the bottle of wine I was carrying and poured it over Eiger, then set him on fire. Eiger, who was immersed in the illusion, was so paralyzed that he could not feel any pain and did not struggle when he was burned. "You guys stay behind me." Charles said to us.
Outside came the sound of rouge kicking and punching the door of the room, the movement just now had alerted them.
So Charles and I each grabbed our weapons and prepared for a big fight. We just opened the door, the window behind us suddenly jumped in a black shadow landed in front of us. The next second, Charles had already fought with him. Then, another person jumped in from outside, it looks like they should have jumped down from upstairs with the help of a rope, I wonder how long they have been hiding up there.
The rouge also rushed in, Charles and I were pinned down, and with the room not being very big, our range of motion was rapidly shrinking.
"Harry? They are not rouge, those who came in outside are rouge!" the girl hiding in the corner shouted at the two people who came in.
This is when I realized that she was mistaken for someone else?
Hearing her words, the two men quickly dodged Charles's attack and began to cooperate with us to attack the rouge.
Eiger had been burned to death, and the flames in the room were getting bigger and bigger, so if we didn't leave, we would have to be burned to death here too.
Outside the room, several more people rushed in, with their backs to them rouge too late to dodge, was instantly killed.
"You guys leave first!" I said to Harry and the girl.
Harry looked at me, took the girl's hand, and ran out of the room. They evacuated downstairs with the help of the rope outside the window, and the rouge kept pouring in toward the ninth floor.
Eiger's death ignited their anger and they pounced on us.
"They can be treated to a taste of roasted werewolves." Charles said to me with a smile.
I handed Charles the bottle from my back, lit it and tossed it at the rouge.
The corridor is not much space, by now it was full of rouge, they had no place to hide. The bottle fell to the rouge side was broken, immediately the rouge ignited, into a sea of fire. Add the poisonous powder of alcohol so rouge simply can not escape, can only watch themselves burned to death.
Charles flipped out and came back into the building from the eighth floor, throwing a few bottles at the stairway.
"You've thrown all my bottles!" I said to him helplessly as he reached out to me once more.
"Well, that'll have to be my trick." Charles said.
There was still rouge downstairs.
But by the time we got to the seventh floor, Harry and the others had killed most of the rouge.
After the city was taken, they didn't leave many rouges stationed, but took most of them to Navia, in order to launch a final attack on the royal palace.
It was almost dawn when Charles, Harry, and I left the building, and the rouge had been pretty much taken care of. it would take a little while for the rouge to send a new leader to Mills, and in the meantime, it would be enough for the people of Mills City to escape.
Outside the building, we looked at the burning fire, looked at each other and gave a smile.
"Man, good work." Harry and Charles high-fived and laughed.
