Chapter 50 Honeymoon
"What's wrong? Look at this wind chime, it's beautiful." Adri was holding a string of wind chimes and said to me happily. "Nothing, it is indeed beautiful and suitable for hanging in the window." I turned my attention to the beautiful crafts. In the evening, after we watched a movie we were ready to go back to Mede's house.
It was one of my favorite movies. It was called "Mr. Corrado".
The main character was Corrado, an ordinary old man who could no longer work and returned to his original farm.
He just returned to the farm and made a lot of jokes, so that people can not help but laugh. Gradually, he became lonely and always sat alone on the lawn drinking because his wife had passed away. One of Corrado's favorite things to do was to make his own wine, but as he was getting older, he accidentally fell while taking his wine out and it all fell to the ground.
He cried and tried to collect it, but the wine had run out along the cracks of the floor, and he cried helplessly for a long time.
Life returned to peace again, and his children told him that they would spend Christmas with him.
But he was seriously ill and too weak to speak.
Finally, Mr. Corrado stayed that summer.
I can't say why I like watching it, but my favorite line in the movie is one of the lines.
Mr. Corrado said. "It's only when you're nearing the end of your life that you realize how much you regret."
All along the way, I was thinking about what else I had in mind.
"Adri," I stopped and called out to him.
"What's wrong? Are you too tired? Let me carry you to the car." Adri said, holding out his hand to hug me.
"No, not really, I thought about it and I do have a few more wishes so I want you to help me with some of them." I said to him with a smile.
"Okay, what is it?" Adri asked as he stood up straight and looked at me with a smile on his face.
I took a step towards him and reached around his waist, tilting my head up to kiss him on the lips.
Adri reached out and wrapped his arms around me in a deep and tender kiss that made me fall once more.
"Wait, you don't want to try it on the street......"
"
"No, I don't, I just want to experience the feeling of a couple's embrace."
"Then why are your hands unbuttoning my shirt? Also, we're married, we can't be considered a couple! It's called a couple!"
"I unbuttoned it because I was worried about you suffocating, it's my real love for you, can't you feel it?"
Finally, Adri covered her forehead with a helpless face, while I laughed so hard my face was cramping.
"Kasha, come behind me."
Suddenly, Adri pulled me behind him and looked warily at the silent street.
It was only eight o'clock at night, there couldn't be a single person on the street at this time of night, and I was just now realizing that something was wrong.
On the dark street corner, dozens of men came out, all holding iron bars.
"They're not werewolves." I said to Adri, the sense between werewolves would not be present in a human.
Adri nodded back and watched as the group of men approached us.
"What do you want?" Adri questioned glaring at them.
"Nothing, I just think this girl next to you is interesting, why don't you just let us have her?" One of the men with dyed yellow hair said with an evil grin. The others burst out laughing when they heard him.
"She is my wife, if you guys dare to touch her, I will tear you apart!" Adri said in an icy voice.
"We're not interested in men, you better get lost or we'll beat you up hard." The man said, waving the iron bar in his hand, and the others followed suit. Adri clenched his fist, and when an iron bar came behind him, Adri quickly turned around, grabbed the bar, and kicked the man out of the room. The others also raised their iron bars and attacked Adri, who pushed me out of the way after knocking down two men.
"Run!" Adri shouted.
Several men ran towards me, and Adri quickly ran to them and knocked them down.
If I turned into a werewolf and fought, although I could win, it would make the others think that this was a werewolf pack declaring war on humans. To avoid this, I had to flee.
I ran all the way towards the busy part of the street where there would be police.
But the people behind me got closer and closer, and no one was ever seen on the streets.
In the panic, I bumped into a man and didn't stand still and flung myself on the ground with him.
I was still on top of him in a very ambiguous position.
"I'm sorry." I couldn't care less about embarrassment and couldn't take a closer look at his appearance, so I hurriedly stood up and tried to run.
"It's you guys again? Forget whose territory this is?" The man stood up and looked at a few people questioningly, with anger.
Several people stopped in their tracks and looked at him in awe, then they turned around and quickly ran away.
"Thank you." I said to him sincerely.
"No, those bastards always come to my place to cause trouble, how are you?" He turned his head and asked gently.
I gave him a look, looking very elegant and gentlemanly, not at all like those hooligans would be afraid of.

"I'm fine, I'm sorry for accidentally bumping into you just now." I hurriedly apologized for what just happened.
"It's okay, it's kind of my luck to be knocked down by a beautiful woman." He replied with a gentle smile.
"Kasha!" Adri came running over.
I walked towards him, Adri standing beside me, still looking warily at the man.
"He was the one who just chased those guys away, how are you? Are you hurt?" I inquired, looking at him to make sure he wasn't hurt.
"Thank you for saving my wife, my name is Adri and she is my wife Kasha," Adri thanked him.
"Your name is Adri and you are from the Hobart family?" He asked, looking at Adri in shock.
"Yes, you know me?" Adri asked, looking at him suspiciously.
"I'm Charles! I can't believe you don't remember me?" Charles said loudly.
"I don't recognize you at all." Adri was surprised.
"It's true that you've changed a bit. How about a drink at my place? I really didn't expect to see you here." Charles said with a smile and gave Adri a big hug. Charles then led us to his home, a luxurious villa that looked very beautiful.
When we walked into the living room, a maid brought us wine.
"Kasha is pregnant and can't drink, just give her a glass of milk instead, thanks." Adri said to the maid.
"I didn't think you were going to be a father, just now I thought Kasha was a single girl, what brings you guys here?"
Charles asked as he and Adri clinked their glasses and took a sip of red wine.
"Honeymoon." Adri replied, but Charles was obviously not convinced.
