Chapter 47 Savage City Lord
Misius looked at me with difficulty. "What kind of problem?"
I felt like he was trying to make some kind of outrageous condition with me.
"Karina and Rachel's families are both big families, and Karina's father is also a count, this matter, you still have to step in to solve it." Misius said to me.
"That's a good reason to let me solve two troubles by myself, and you won't give me a hint?" I asked, looking at him.
"Rachel's family won't offer to let Adri and Rachel get married again because of what they did wrong before. But Karina's parents are counts, above us, and if we object, the whole family will suffer with them." Misius said. "Well, I know what to do...... A certain barbaric city lord used his authority to break into the house, snatched a handsome man and held a wedding before he was rescued." I looked at Adri and said with a smile. Adri couldn't help but laugh and shake his head.
Maybe he didn't think that when he got married, he would be robbed to get married.
Adri was recovering quite well from his injuries and he left the hospital a few days later to go home.
That was part of the plan.
And I, too, got to play the savage city lord for a bit.
Back at the manor, I made it a point to find clothes that were easy to move around in, and then had Joslin help me set up the manor as it should be for the wedding.
At the manor, Karina, who had learned of Adri's injury, came to visit him.
When she saw me appear, the housekeeper opened the door and followed me to Adri's room. When I reached the door, the housekeeper deliberately stopped me. "Miss Kasha, you can't go in, Miss Karina is inside......" said the housekeeper, gesturing for me to push him into the room.
So, I cooperated and pushed him in. Although I didn't use much strength, the butler fell to the floor in an exaggerated manner.
"Sir, I'm sorry..... I didn't stop Miss Kasha." The butler said very aggressively.
"Kasha, what do you want to do?" Karina stood up, with anger in her eyes, and glared at me questioningly.
"Of course I'm here to take Adri away, what else can I do?" I replied condescendingly.
"Adri won't go with you." Karina said to me as she stepped in front of Adri.
"There's nothing I can do if I don't come with me?" I sneered and walked over.
Karina was about to resist when I raised my hand and struck her on the neck, and Karina fell to the ground. Then I took Adri and slipped out the back door.
Sitting in the car, Adri's face was covered with a smile.
Back at the manor, Joslin was already dining with a group of people, while Adri and I went back to our room.
"How long do you think it will take for Karina and the others to come after us?" I asked, looking at Adri and reaching out to hug his neck.
"That's not certain, maybe they ran into rouge on the way, or something, and that won't come." Adri smiled, and flung me down on the bed. "Wait, you were snatched back by me, how can I let you hold me down?" I rolled over and pinned Adri down.
That was the right way.
Adri looked at me, a face that carried the magic that captivated me no matter what.
I lowered my head and kissed his lips as Adri's one arm tightened around my waist and pinned me to the bed once more.

Because I was pregnant, Adri was also more gentle.
But when it was over, he and I were still lying on the bed making rapid breathing sounds.
I lay on the bed with my back to him and Adri held me from behind, his wide palms gently caressing the small of my back.
The small of my stomach could not yet tell that I was pregnant, but he was happy.
"Kasha, I love you." Adri whispered tenderly and affectionately in my ear.
"I love you too, and our baby." I said to him.
It was not until the next day that I learned from Burdie that the men sent by Karina's father were stopped halfway by a pack of werewolves.
And it was a group of Karina's father's enemies, a group of Freelancers.
This surprised me, the Freelancers were led by Joslin, how could they go and stop those people without Joslin's orders?
"Kasha, that group of Freelancers has nothing to do with me." Joslin said to me as he walked up to me.
"What?" I froze in my tracks.
"The Freelancers, like the pack, have other Freelancers besides me, and their own territories, and it's not me who has a grudge against Karina's father, it's Viktor," Joslin said with a smile. "Viktor?" I was even more confused as to what was going on here.
"Freelancers are not the same as rouges, because Freelancers do not attack other packs and humans, so they are able to enter various cities. As long as they do not pose a threat to the territories of other groups, they are usually not expelled. As for Viktor, he was once treated as a rouge by Smog when he entered Smog's territory and made Viktor blind in one eye." Joslin said.
"What does that have to do with them stopping those people?" I asked, looking at Joslin.

"Of course it does, Viktor hates Smog because of this, so whenever he wants to do something that Viktor knows about, he's bound to do some damage. They've been at odds with each other for over ten years, so I just told Viktor about them trying to rob Adri, and told him Smog was after the Adri family fortune." Joslin said, smiling even more.
I then understood and laughed with Joslin at the same time.
"If I had known it was like this, I should have finished the wedding first yesterday." I felt I was at a disadvantage that I didn't even get to have the wedding.
Burdie walked over and interrupted my conversation with Joslin.
"Miss Kasha, Count Smog himself brought someone to Puro City and made it public to everyone that you are a werewolf." Burdie said worriedly.
"It looks like we're in big trouble." Joslin looked at me and said.
"Isn't Smog a werewolf too? He's even an Alpha!"
His status as an Alpha of werewolves would be more openly attacked by everyone than me, a werewolf without any leadership skills.
"No, he's not like you, he's the exception to being an Earl. Both he and his pack work for the royal family, and when the last king tried to bring in the werewolf pack, only Smog's family chose the royal family, and the others were no longer entitled to have the same treatment as them." Joslin explained to me.
"Then what should I do?"
Smog incited the people of Puro City to attack me, and I simply could not resist.
I wouldn't attack a human, even though I was also a werewolf, but I preferred the human identity.
Even though it wasn't as powerful as a werewolf, the joy and beauty of being human was something that a werewolf couldn't experience.
"I don't know, but I will be by your side to protect you." Joslin said and walked with me outside the manor.
