Alpha's Fated Slave Mate

Chapter 28 Tears belong to the weak

Since it was late when we returned to the villa, Adri decided to wait until morning to explain the matter to his family.

I lay in bed very restlessly, wishing that time would pass faster, but not that it would.

It wasn't until it was almost dawn that I closed my eyes and slept for a while.

Even if Adri and I had already had sex, I couldn't be Adri's wife without the approval of the Hobart family.

Such a wait was a very torturous thing for me.

Adri went first to the conference room of Misius, where all the family meetings would be held, and I had to wait outside.

I don't know what was going on inside, but I'm sure they must have had a heated argument about it.

Because I heard the sound of something being dropped.

After having a wolf of my own, any sound seemed to be amplified.

Perhaps it was also because of this that Misius placed me far away from the conference room, but I could also faintly hear the sounds of the argument.

"Miss Kasha, Mr. Alpha Misius wants you to go to the conference room." A maid said to me as she pushed open the door to the room.

Her tone was mocking, and I pretended not to see it as I got up and headed for the conference room.

The people in the conference room had stopped arguing, but the moment I walked in, I could still feel the oppressive atmosphere in the room, and Adri's angry look. "Kasha ......"

"Adri, if you are not good at talking, then let me say it. Kasha, I want you to keep your distance from Adri and never have any thoughts of marrying Adri again." Misius interrupted Adri and said.

"Whether you agree or not, I will marry Kasha, even if I don't become the heir to this hell." Adri shouted at Misius as she stood in front of me very angrily.

"What are you talking about? Don't you know that you got everything you have because of me, Karina and Rachel, or any other Alpha's daughter, you can choose, except Kasha," Misius was also very tough. "I can get out of here." I replied looking coldly at Misius.

"Kasha, what did you say?" Adri could hardly believe those were my words coming out.

"I don't think you understand what I said, I just said for you to keep your distance from Adri, but I didn't say you could leave." Misius said pointing at me.

"What if I said I could leave?" I looked over at Misius, not feeling scared inside.

I had fought storm wolves more vicious than him, and Misius was no longer intimidating to me now.

"Then I will mark you as a rouge and will kill you." Misius also began to show brutality in his eyes.

"You can try, even if you can kill me in the end, but the price you will pay will be very heavy, I hope you think clearly." I said with a cold laugh.

Kanas's daughter, would not succumb to the other party's arrogance and hubris.

"You're threatening me?" Misius asked as he narrowed his eyes slightly and frowned at me.

"No, I'm just stating the facts." I said to Misius as I regained my composure, though I did still have anger in my heart.

Anyone is free to choose mate, Adri and I are the same.

But to be forced to accept things that he wouldn't have wanted because of his family made me feel angry, but more helpless.

The family is not the same as my father's family, and Misius will not be as gentle as my father.

Misius looked at me, not saying anything, but his anger was also real.

"Even if I stay, it's because I love Adri, I've loved him from the beginning. Even if I leave here, it's my choice, you can't decide me. Even if you have more warriors under you, as Kanas' daughter, I can fight until I die, but I will not be threatened by you." I looked at him with the same look.

Misius was so angry that his body was shaking, and Adri looked at me with a smile on his face.

"As long as you can create value for the Hobart family, I will give you everything you want, except a promise to marry you." Misius said.

I just smiled, turned around and walked out.

Although I knew I should leave, I was also in love with Adri and Moon Godness would not keep us apart.

After leaving the conference room, I sat alone in a chair next to the flower garden, staring at the flowers. "Kasha, I'm sorry you had to hear those words, but I won't give up."

Adri followed me out at some point, went and sat down next to me, and said to me.

"Did you think I was supposed to cry? Or make a big fuss?" I asked with a smile as I gave him a look.

"Well, I admit I did think of it that way before." Adri didn't deny it either.

"I also thought I might cry, but tears only belong to the weak, and the best way to show the other person that they are strong enough is to respond with the same attitude." I said to Adri.

He lapsed into silence, while my mind drifted back to my father fighting to protect me.

He was also the one who once told me that in this world, there are many people who think they are strong enough, but in the end realize that it was all an illusion supported by their own arrogance.

If he were still alive, he might have let me go too, but I don't think it would be now.

The snowy mountain wolves had formed an alliance with Adri, and in the face of the Rouge alliance, I hoped that they could be expelled and the rest of us could live well.

Adri and I just sat there in our chairs, no one spoke.

It wasn't until it started to rain in the sky that Adri and I ran into the house.

The light rain soon turned into a downpour, and we looked out through the window, then looked at each other and laughed.

"Summer weather is always so changeable." Adri said to me.

"We may need to reach out to the other packs next, we have to stick together to defeat the rouge once and for all," I said to Adri.

"That's right, I'm going to make a trip to Barcelona City tomorrow, that shouldn't be a problem."

Adri stood up and walked over to the map on the wall and reached out to point to one of the places.

"I can go to Lerto City, which is closest to Barcelona City, and I can hitch a ride." I said with a smile.

"Aren't you coming to Barcelona City with me?" Adri inquired, a little lost in thought.

"Don't you forget, your father wouldn't want to, and I'm more familiar with Lerto City. Because my mother and I lived there before we moved, and one of the mayors of Lerto City knows them, and we have a good relationship." I said to Adri.

Although when I left, Tina had told me not to return there in the future if possible.

She also didn't tell me where the garden my father left behind was.

Until now, I still wanted to see it.
