Chapter 17 Adri's date
"He's in there."
I don't have much energy left to talk to her, now I just want to go back to my room and get a good night's sleep.
She would be the Miss Carina, an Alpha's daughter, that Rafa and I spoke about.
If it was her, Adri should not refuse.
But right now, I don't care about that.
I had just returned to my room when I heard a knock on the door.
"Miss Kasha, Mr. Adri has asked you to come to the study." Rafa said to me as he appeared at the door of my room.
"Did he say what it was about?" I asked.
I'm so tired I can barely stand, and he wants me to go see him on a date with Miss Karina at this time?
"All Mr. Adri said was for you to come over, so if you don't want to upset him, you better get over there as soon as possible." Rafa said, rolling his eyes at me before turning to leave. Facing me, she looked like she had seen a monster and didn't want to say a word more to me.
I had to change my clothes and wash my face with cold water to make myself look refreshed, then head for Adri's study.
In the study, Adri was talking with Karina, and the two were having a good time.
"Kasha, Tina, who is in charge of receiving guests today, is on leave, so please take her place temporarily and help make two cups of coffee."
Adri said to me politely, probably because he wanted to give Karina the image of a noble and gentle gentleman.
"Please wait a moment." I replied calmly and walked out of the study.
Standing next to the coffee machine, waiting for it to heat up, I had begun to doze off, my eyelids so heavy I couldn't lift them at all. Even though I was standing, I was almost fast asleep. When I heard the sound of the coffee machine finishing heating up, I reluctantly opened my eyes and picked up my cup to get my coffee.
The next second, the hot coffee showered on the back of my hand, the pain came, I instinctively threw away the coffee cup.
The cup fell to the ground with a crisp cracking sound and was shattered into pieces.
And the back of my hand is rapidly reddening and swelling, and the whole palm is burning pain, and makes my tiredness disappear completely.
I put my hand under the faucet and ran cold water over the back of it to try to ease the pain.
A few minutes later, I headed for the study with two cups of coffee in my hand.
"Mr. Adri, your coffee, Miss Karina, please enjoy it, and if there's nothing else, I'll be out."
I placed two cups of coffee in front of Adri and Karina respectively and said that my hands needed to be treated. Without the cold water rinse, the back of my hand began to burn violently again. "Kasha, what's wrong with your hand?" Adri asked, frowning as she noticed my reddened hand.
"I accidentally burned it, I can handle it myself." I pulled the sleeve to cover the back of my burned hand.
I don't know if it's because I'm not in a good place right now, or because what Adri said earlier made me sad, or because I'm a little emotional about him dating Karina, but right now I just want to go to my room and stay there. "I can help, it's not good if it gets infected and inflamed." Adri stood up and said to me.
"No, I can manage on my own, and, I don't want to spoil the fun for you and Miss Karina."
I decisively rejected Adri, then turned and walked out.
There were medicines at the bottom of the cabinet in the room, and I rummaged for a while and found ointment for burns.
After cleaning the skin briefly, the ointment was applied to the burned location, and the cool sensation made the burning pain subside a lot.
After the treatment, I lay on the bed and had no more strength to move.
Closing my eyes, I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up, it was late afternoon.
Beside me, Adri was taking a cotton swab and applying ointment to my hand. His warm hand carefully cradled my palm, and I could feel sparks erupting between the skin we were both touching. Seeing that I was awake, Adri let go of my hand and looked a little nervous.
"You didn't handle it very well, and if it breaks, you'll have scars on your hands, so I..." Adri said as he turned his back on me.
I looked at my hand and it didn't hurt much anymore, not as bad as I thought it would.
"Thanks." I said to Adri as I sat up.
"No need to thank me, you are now a friend and a guest of Black Thunder Pack, that's what I should do." Adri replied.
I didn't say anything and didn't ask him how he was getting along with Karina.
If he chooses to stay with Karina, whether he will mark me as a rouge or not, I will leave here, find a place and live alone.
"Mr. Adri, Miss Karina's room has been tidied up, do you have any other orders?" A maid came into the room and said to us.
I gave Adri a look, he actually kept Karina here overnight?
"No, Kasha, don't look at me like that, I didn't ask to keep her here, she insisted on staying." Adri seemed to read my mind and explained to me more nervously.
"It's okay, I understand, you don't have to think about me."
I said to him that he was not willing to admit that I was his mate anyway, and that there was nothing wrong with choosing a noble lady like Karina.
Adri frowned at me, but couldn't say anything.
The maid stood in the doorway watching him, waiting for Adri's command.
Adri turned and walked out, while I looked at my hands and lay back on the bed.
The sky gradually darkened and the moonlight shone through the window into the room.
"Hey, Kasha, are you okay?" Bella asked in my head, carefully testing me.
"I'm fine, but I don't think I have the strength to run right now." I answered her with my eyes closed.
"Kasha, I don't know what to do to cheer you up, but you're in a really bad state and I'm worried about you." Bella said worriedly.
"Bella, I wouldn't think of killing myself to solve my problem just because I've turned into a rouge that hasn't been marked yet, I'm just sad because I lost my mom, but I'm still going to try to live." I said to Bella.
At the very least, I hope that when they are in heaven they will see me as a werewolf strong enough to protect everything they want to protect.

Instead of being a little girl who only hides in a corner and gets scared and cries.
"I think Adri cares about you too, maybe he's changed his mind and wants you to be his mate?" Bella was a little excited.
"If that's what you want to talk to me about, then our conversation can end."
I'm really not in any mood to care about things like who will be my mate right now.
"Well, Kasha, I'll always be there for you, good night." Bella finished and all was calm again.
I fell asleep again.
In my dream, I saw Tina again.
She looked at me tenderly and walked slowly towards me, and behind her was a dazzling light.
At this moment, she is like an angel descending before me.
"Mom..."
I choked up and reached out to her, I wanted to hug her one last time.
"Our little Kasha grew up to be a powerful werewolf, didn't she?"
It was my father's voice, standing behind me, smiling at me.
"But I need you guys by my side..."
I couldn't hold back my tears any longer.
"Hey Kasha, listen to me, we never left you, we just guarded you in a different way and saw you grow, remember when I once showed you the fledglings on the cliff?" Kanas walked up to me, smiled and said to me.
I certainly remember that time when he told me that the first flight of a chick, if it can not open its wings to let itself fly, it will only fall to the ground and die a miserable death.
The last to survive are those in the desperate situation to the sky of the fledgling eagle, they will eventually grow into the eagle.
"Kasha, my daughter, you can do it, can't you?" Kanas smiled at me as he stroked my head, the feeling so real.
"Kasha?" Another voice came to my ear.
