Alpha Xander

My eyes opened, and I found myself in a room, at first everywhere was blurred but after some seconds, it became clearer, and I was alone in a strange room, my head, and body still hurt so badly but I was curious about what happened earlier...

I quickly sat up, grunting and regretting ever sitting up that fast, it made the pain deeper and heartbreaking.

My face went into my arms as I tried not to cry, I could still feel the pains all over my back...

After a few minutes, I heard the door creak making me look up sharply as a bit of fear gripped me, I knew I was a slave now and all of a sudden, Linda saved me,

A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I saw it was Linda at the door, a little smile crossed through my lips, she was carrying a tray with plates on it, my stomach grumbled at the aroma that came out from whatever was on the plate, that made me knew how hungry I had been,

"Lena, you are awake?" She cooed, dropping the tray on the stool there while I dragged myself to the edge of the bed, so I'll devour the food,

Without wasting any time, I uncovered the plate and ate everything there making sure nothing was remaining, I wanted more but never mentioned it, I'm still confused at how things were suddenly going fine. "Linda, what is happening??.how...."

"Shh...." She hushed me with her left index finger before looking around.

"You feel better now, right?" She asked, and I nodded, staring at her.

"Get up and leave this Pack using this map;" she stated, handing a scroll to me.

"What are you...."

"No questions!!!!" She half yelled with her tone breaking in emotions, my eyes glistened with fear, but she wasn't concerned about that.

"Leave this place, or you will die!!" She howled, dragging me up weakly.

"Linda....!" I tried calling, but she opened the door and pushed me out.

"Cover your face with the hood and sneak away, all the guards are drugged!" She cried out as I found myself outside the house.

I made to talk again to her, but she banged the door right to my face.

"Run away!!!" She screamed from inside with deep pain in her voice. Hutton's POV

I didn't know when tears fell off my eyes until it touched my chest sending a cold chill through me, I had been inside my room since I came back from school, I couldn't eat a single meal, all appetite was gone, how was I going to eat when my joy has been taken away most painfully,

I thought life would go well for me, it had been all fine not until recently, everything just turned sour, the pain of losing my mother and the pain of having my girlfriend maltreated and molested by Xander right in my face, it was the most painful thing that had happened to me...

Furthermore, I feel like a sissy and must have been a laughingstock to other students even though none dares to say it right to my face out of fear,

I took a deep breath staring at nothing, all I was thinking of was how I would prove my strength over Xander, I don't know why he suddenly hated me and treated me that bad, just all of a sudden,

I feel heartbroken as my girlfriend poured out her pain to me after school, she would be leaving the school and won't come back from fear of Xander, I couldn't stop her since I had no power to fight Xander...

I rested my body flat over the bed hating myself the more,

Just then, I heard a knock on the door,

"Who is there?.how can I help you?" I asked without attempting to sit up, I need no one around me at the moment.

"Your father sent for you" I heard the voice of the messenger.

"Why?" I asked, still lying flat.

"He said he got good news for you" the man replied, but I wasn't moved a bit.

No news will be a good one for me, all I want now is the death of Xander and no one is going to do that for me, no one can kill him so, they should all f**k off!

"What is the good news?" I asked dryly.

"He didn't tell me but urged you to come downstairs and hear it yourself,

"It's late at night already, tell him I'm asleep, I don't want to hear any news" I hissed turned to the other side of the bed,

"He knows you aren't asleep, come and hear the news!" he coaxed.

"Go back and know it yourself!... I don't want to hear your voice ever again!" I snorted, covering my whole body with the duvet,

Tomorrow would be my worst day, everyone will find out that my girlfriend has left the school because of Xander, it will make me look like a weakling, I badly want to kill Xander!!!!!

I fought him today and I regret it because I was no match for him, and he dealt with me like a kid.

I couldn't hear any other words for some seconds, making me shut my eyes.

But then, I heard footsteps...

"Hutton, I have good news, I came myself because I'm overwhelmed, and it's making me go giddy!" Dad's voice sounded, making me sit up immediately.

His voice showed how glad he is...

"What is that?" I asked.

"Let me in" he breathed, and I ran to the door, opening it quickly.

He let out a chuckle before heading to my bed, he sat down having a huge smile that made me more curious.

"Dad, tell me what made you smile" I gasped.

"I am pained from losing my Luna, but then I'm happy because Xander, the son of Alpha Xavier will be caught in a trap tonight!" The voice of my father sounded in my ear, making me blink continuously, every word he said echoed in my head with a rush of sweet sensation running through my spine.

Did my ear deceive me now?

"Dad you said, Xander the son of Xavier will be caught in a trap today?" I asked gasping for breath as happiness was making me go crazy, I can imagine having Xander under my grip, treating him whatsoever way I wished.

"I'm serious, son, that's why I couldn't even wait for the day to break, I can't wait for tomorrow before telling you this, I found out he had been the reason for your sadness these days, so I'm glad to tell you this" He added with a short laugh making me sprang up from the bed in glee.

"Tell me more, Daddy, I feel my heart thumping so hard." I gasped blinking continuously as I stared at him in awe waiting to hear the great news, if I had known this was why the messenger came the other time, I won't hesitate a second to open the door, "Calm down son..." He paused and laughed.

"You are all I got now, so I will go to every extent to make you happy, I can't bear seeing you sad, it adds more to my pain of losing my mate, Xander will be caught sooner than you expected, the trap has been set, he would be lured into it...the whole Alpha of many packs has set the trap, and we are sure to get him caught" he stated with his tone showing how certain he was...

His expression made me hug him tightly, I can already imagine the scene of having Xander caged while I t*****e him day and night.

"Dad, you seemed to be so sure about this..." I gasped with my eyes already glistening with great happiness.

"The trap has the powers from different Alphas from other packs, it is so powerful that Xander can never escape it. We all wanted the downfall of Alpha Xavier, and we can only get him through his son Xander, once we get Xander, we will use him to lure Xavier into his death" my father explained, and it was like a cold shrill all over my body,

"Dad, when would he be caught?" I asked with my eyes shimmering.

"This night or tomorrow morning, can we go down to the palace now?..other Alphas has gathered, once Xander is caught, we will get the notice" he let out a short laugh heading to the door.

"How sure are you, Dad?" I asked doubtfully about how Xander who is like a god would be caught in a trap.

"It is a trap of Illusion, once he perceived the scent, it would alter his brain and make him see the trap as a room where his father is...just calm down son, he would be in your grasp soon" Dad assured, and I exhaled deeply feeling the burden in my heart released, Lena's POV.

The door was banged to my face before I could say anything, Linda screamed at me to run away, but I couldn't move my feet, I couldn't understand what she meant by I would die, it sent great fear in me, maybe they had found out how I killed the slave guard with strange powers and intended to kill me.

I glanced back at the door and could hear the whimper of Linda, she was sobbing to herself, I looked all around me and there was total silence with the moon standing out as the only source of illumination, the map was in my palm, and I was too confused and scared to do anything...

"Lena, I'm scared..." My wolf spoke with her tone shaking.

"Do you think I'll be safe?" I asked and it sobbed.

"Linda sounds so scared, something bad seems to be looming!" she replied with a heavy breath and I head back to the door.

I knocked...

"Lena!!!!!...are you still there???...oh, no!!!...all my sufferings, all my sacrifices will be fruitless, I had passed through a lot to have the chance of saving you, now when it was time, you decided to shatter it all!!!" She screamed and burst into a cry. "Linda I....

"I will never forgive you if the guards wake up and find you, Lena, please go!...please run far away, use the map to find your way out of this pack, I don't want you to die please, don't do this to me" she cried the more.

My legs moved backwards...

"In a few minutes, they will all wake up!!!" She added with a cracked voice of pain, making my heart heavy.

"Let's leave here." My wolf pleaded, and I opened the map, I stared at it for some minute capturing the routes into my head, with that, I dashed away with the highest speed I got.

I was marvelled at the rate of my speed, it was away from normal, my feet barely touched the ground, I dived through walls and trees, just as I succeeded in crossing the boundary, I heard a loud trumpet from the pack, I knew instantly that my departure had been known.

This made me increase my speed running without direction, all that was in my head was going far away from the pack, very far that I'll never be traced.

I just pray Linda isn't exposed, she had just saved my life, I could have died today, never had I known the slave job was this bone-breaking, it sucks life away...

I got into a forest enjoying the cool breeze and scent of sweet spine and woods, I was in my Werewolf form, half-human and half-wolf, I was yet to be able to shift into a full wolf, I kept running and enjoying the way trees sped past me,

After almost an hour of running, I couldn't go any further, my legs failed me and I fell heavily to the ground exhausted, my breath was so fast and hot that I had to open my mouth to catch more breath.

"That was a very long run, we must be safe now" Elena chuckled, and I sensed her lay down too,

The cool breeze slapping my skin made me shiver a bit, I was already feeling sleepy but just then, from a distance, I heard a deep growl which exuded deep pain...

The sound was quite faint, but I felt the pains in the voice, it was clear in my head and my heart, I felt deeply troubled

I was weak to stand up but couldn't stay back when the groan came the second time, I sprang up and looked around for who that must be.
