Alpha Tyrion's Arranged Mate - His Hybrid Mate

Chapter Series of misfortunes

Celine's POV

The guards had been called later when they heard the noises inside the chamber. Alpha Tyrion was still holding me when the Queen and Lycan king entered the room. The Queen looked horrified when she saw the dead body of the rogue on the floor.

"What happened here? Are you hurt?" She asked, crying and holding my hand.

I shook my head, " No, Alpha Tyrion came and saved me."

She took a sigh of relief and as the maids cleaned the bloodied floor, I saw Alpha Tyrion talking to Beta Remy about the security breach in the Luna chambers. Lycan king was quite all this time and he checked the window and door for any clue. "She was just trying to steal the jewels from the Lunas because we found the bag of diamonds in the closet. She was trying to steal here too but Luna Celine walked in. There is no danger in the kingdom. All the borders are secured. " Alpha Tyrion listened to Beta Remy yet his face was hard and brows furrowed.

"But you do realize that this was dangerous. " Alpha Tyrion commented.

Beta Remy nodded, " And this is not going to be repeated ever again. My promise to you, Alpha.

Lycan king cleared his throat and grabbed the Queen's hand to take her out with him.

"Everyone please get some sleep because the Royal breakfast timing is at 6 AM and there's no delay allowed. "

"I will stay with my mate tonight." Alpha Tyrion said.

Lycan king growled, "I ALLOWED you yesterday and this is breaking of the rules. I assure you, Celine is safe here. Alpha Tyrion turned to me," Will you be okay?"

Even though I wanted him to stay with me but I knew that he would ask about the lioness, the lies and everything else.

"I will be fine, Alpha. "

He looked at me giving me a last look. I could see the frustration on his face because I wasn't talking to him about the incident and he was not happy with the distance I was creating between us.

But soon enough, all of them left and I was alone in my chamber. The maids had cleaned the floor properly and I couldn't even remember the dead body which was a lying around just an hour ago. I crashed on the bed and sleep overtook me. I woke up feeling sore and exhausted. The events of last night still haunted me. But the memory of Alpha Tyrion hugging me and protecting me gave a slight relief to everything. Somehow, an anger erupted in my mind at the thought of my misery. Why did the Moon Goddess had to put so much conflicts between us? How could she make him claim me as his mate when he already had a pregnant ex?

I wanted to cry, but I had no tears left. I felt numb and empty. I wanted to run away, but I had nowhere to go. I was trapped in this challenge and mate bond surrounded by other packs, the guards, and the rules of the marking. My mate was there to protect me from everyone but who would protect me from the dangers when we would part ways?

'Celine, get out of the depressive thoughts. It's a new day and we have to go to the dining area.'

I knew Belinay was right and dragged myself to the shower from the bed.

I got dressed and headed to the dining hall, hoping to find some food and peace. As soon as I entered, I saw Alpha Tyrion. He was sitting at the the table, looking like a king. He wore a black suit that hugged his muscular body. His dark hair was slicked back, his sharp eyes were piercing, his jaw was sharp. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen, and the most dangerous too.

'Stop drooling over him. 'I agreed to my wolf again.

He smiled when he saw me, but it didn't reach his eyes. He gestured for me to join him, but I ignored him. I walked to the other end of the table, where there was an empty seat. I grabbed a plate and filled it with some toast and eggs. I tried to avoid his gaze, but I could feel it burning into me.

"Good morning, Celine," he said, his voice deep and smooth. "Did you sleep well?"

I didn't answer. I just focused on my food, hoping he would leave me alone.

He didn't. He got up from his seat and walked towards me. He sat down next to me, making me flinch. He reached for my hand, but I pulled it away.

"Why are you doing this? Is everything okay? Why don't you tell me what happened in the woods?"

He frowned, but I didn't say anything. He just watched me eat, making me uncomfortable.

I was about to finish my breakfast when I heard a loud shriek. I turned my head and saw Ava running towards us. She was wearing a pink dress that barely covered her curves.

Her belly had started to grow and even Alpha Tyrion noticed it. I knew they were a percent couple if it wasn't for me. But now, here she was, Ava, casting envious glances in my direction.

Suppressing my unease, I saw as she approached the table. "Good morning, Tyrion," she greeted him with a forced smile. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Alpha Tyrion looked up, his eyes lighting up at me." No, please have a seat."

She took a chair beside Alpha Tyrion, meanwhile I tried my best to ignore Ava's piercing gaze. However, it didn't take long for Ava to make her presence known. She was holding a cup of tea and intentionally dragged her chair closer to me. 'Bi*ch.' She mouthed.

Alpha Tyrion got up from the chair to leave us to eat without his presence. As his back turned to us,

in a fit of jealousy, she deliberately knocked over her teacup, splashing scalding hot tea on me. "Oouch!!" I whimpered me in pain.

The pain seared through my skin, and my instincts took over. Anger surged within me, and without thinking, I pushed Ava away from me. But Ava, ever the actress, pretended to fall dramatically onto the chair, clutching her belly and crying out in pain.

My eyes widened, shocked by Ava's deceit. I turned to Alpha Tyrion, hoping for support, but his expression was disapproving. "Celine, calm down," he said sternly. "You should know better than to get involved in a scuffle with a pregnant woman."

My anger turned into frustration as I realized the situation was being manipulated against me. I took a deep breath, attempting to regain composure, but the embers of resentment still burned within me.

"I didn't kick her. " I tried to tell him. But Ava was howling and screaming as she hugged Alpha Tyrion.

"Our baby, Ty. Your child is in pain.!" She cried.

Unable to bear the stifling atmosphere, I excused myself and made my way to a nearby balcony, seeking solace in the cool morning air. As I leaned against the railing, my mind filled with questions and a desperate longing for answers. That was the truth. Ava and Alpha Tyrion had an unborn child together. I was not supposed to be here.

Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through my troubled thoughts. It was the Lycan king, Calle, standing a few steps away from me, holding a necklace that glittered in the sunlight. I recognized it instantly-it was my mother's necklace, a treasured possession lost long ago. I had the other half of the necklace with me and it missed the part where the mother's picture was supposed to be. But Lycan king had the picture of my mother, the other half of my necklace.

My heart raced with a mixture of hope and fear as I approached Lycan Calle. "Where did you find that? What do you know about my mother?" I pleaded, my voice trembling with anticipation. Lycan Calle's somber expression softened, and he handed me the necklace gently. "I found this in the depths of the Lycan archives. Your mother had a connection to our world, to our kind."

My eyes widened with astonishment and a torrent of emotions flooded me. I clutched the necklace tightly, my mind buzzing with possibilities. "Please, Lycan king, tell me everything you know. I need to understand. You are my only hope. " The Lycan king nodded, his gaze filled with an unreadable expression. "I promise, Celine, I will share everything I've discovered. But for now, let's find a quiet place where we can talk without interruptions. There is much to discuss, and I believe you deserve to know the truth about your mother."

My heart soared with a newfound hope as I followed him, the necklace a tangible reminder of the mysteries that awaited me. I knew that uncovering my mother's secrets would bring both challenges and revelations, but I was determined to embark on this journey, no matter the cost.
