Alpha Tyrion's Arranged Mate - His Hybrid Mate

Chapter Intriguing Moments

Celine's POV:

"What do you think about it? What does your wolf say?" I asked, still looking into his eyes.

My eyes rolled back as the orgasm overtook my senses with the last deep thrust he gave me. I could feel my toes curling and breath rate increasing.

"My wolf says he knows your soul. He thinks you are his. No matter fated or chosen..."

I touched his face and wiped the sweat off his face. This was the best feeling as an undesired mate whose man had just accepted her even if the Goddess would have not linked us together. Maybe it was the test of our bond. He was getting closer to it now, slowly and steadily.

"I will always be by your side. " I kissed him last time before hiding my face into his chest.

We snuggled up and spent the night together. It was a calming feel after the horrendous turn of events. Having a mate with you, not only gave you power but a real strength above all.

The morning came in a blink and I was woken up by the sound of running water as Alpha Tyrion took a shower. I laid on my side and waited for him to come out with a smile.

"Good morning, love." He said, buttoning up his shirt.

"Morning."

"Where's that kid? The kitten?" He asked, coming over to the bed and kissing me.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned, " She will come back soon."

"I am going to have a talk with the Beta regarding the challenge and the new tasks. Calle has been missing for so long now. I don't know where he might have run off to."

The name of Calle brought the impending headache back to me. I was not ready to face him but neither was I scared of him anymore. He was just a cunning, weak men who had been using Women to get the power and rise up in the ladder. After Alpha Tyrion had gone out, I decided to immediately get dressed up after the shower. My belly growled with hunger and it seemed as if I had been hungry for days.

'I can sense danger. ' Belinay whispered a warning in my head.

With time, I had learnt to trust my wolf and her instincts for sure,' We will fight it.'

As I entered the grand dining hall, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled the air, inviting me to indulge in the morning feast. But amidst the chatter and clinking of silverware, I couldn't help but feel a heavy presence lingering in the room. My gaze lifted, and there he was - King Calle, his piercing eyes locked onto mine with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.

The bruise which my uncle had given him was still fresh and he looked pissed yet the smirk didn't wave off from his face. He was eyeing me hard, his fists clenched in anger.

Alpha Tyrion must have been with Beta Remy because neither of them were in the dining room other than me, Calle, Queen and Ava with Alpha Kristian. Calle didn't take his eyes off me as I tried to find the place to sit near the Queen.

But unlike before, I didn't cower under his gaze. No, I stood tall, my heart filled with a newfound courage, knowing that I had my mate, Alpha Tyrion, by my side. With his unwavering support, I no longer feared the Lycan king's menacing stare. Instead, I met his gaze head-on, a silent challenge in my eyes.

Ignoring the palpable tension in the room, I made my way to the table, exchanging polite nods with the other guests.

"How are you feeling now?" I asked the Queen, carefully knowing that Calle must not know that I was aware of her identity.

"I am doing better now. Where's Alpha Tyrion?" She asked and this made Ava to lift her head up.

"He is busy working with Beta Remy to run the pack matters smoothly."

Calle didn't like that and he immediately got up from the chair. His guards surrounded him as he gave them orders to inform him about the ongoing progress in the pack.

"Who ordered you to change the theme?" He growled at one man and rushed out of the room. Before walking out, he was still looking at me and his deadly stare gave me some sort of warning. He was out of my sight now and i could finally breathe properly.

Yet, I couldn't shake the feeling of Calle's eyes boring into me, his silent scrutiny like a weight on my shoulders.

"We should go back to your chamber now." Maya said, standing behind my chair.

The air felt cold and something shifted in the room with her mere presence. She had been missing for days and had suddenly come out of nowhere.

"Yes, I should get some rest. " The Queen looked at me for a brief moment and stood up.

"Celine is glowing after the passionate night... " Maya said with a smirk rolling up in her face.

I frowned and blinked in confusion as nothing made sense. How did she know about that?

Ava choked on her food and Alpha Kristian rubbed her back. She didn't stay there for another minute and almost ran out of the dining room along with Alpha Kristian.

'Well, we can have breakfast in peace now. Everyone is avoiding us like a flu except that Calle. ' Belinay muttered under her breath.

After a hearty breakfast, I retreated to my chambers, craving a moment of solitude. Alpha Tyrion was yet to come and I feared that he might get into an argument with Calle. It was eerily calm in the chamber corridors and I was glad to have a few moments of loneliness to introspect.

But as I closed the door behind me, a faint sound echoed through the corridor, drawing my attention. It was soft, almost imperceptible, yet it tugged at the edges of my senses, beckoning me to follow.

It was almost as if someone was running in the corridors but just doing circles outside my room.

Curiosity piqued, I hesitated only for a moment before succumbing to its call. Quietly, I padded down the corridor, my footsteps echoing against the marble floors. The sound grew louder with each step, guiding me to the top floor of the palace and into the last room at the end of the hallway.

The last room... There were no guards and I could hear the sound growing louder.

'Go for it.' Belinay encouraged me.

Heart pounding, I pushed open the door, my breath catching in my throat as I stepped inside. The room was dimly lit, shadows dancing along the walls, but it was the source of the sound that sent a chill down my spine.

It was coming from the wall - a rhythmic tapping, like someone or something trapped within. My pulse quickened, fear gripping me as I approached cautiously. With trembling hands, I pressed my ear against the cold stone, listening intently. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the tapping ceased, leaving behind an eerie silence that seemed to suffocate the room. I withdrew, my mind racing with questions and doubts. What could be lurking behind those walls? And why did it send such a shiver down my spine?

But one thing was certain - whatever secrets lay hidden within the palace walls, they were about to be unveiled, and I couldn't shake the feeling that my life would never be the same again.

I turned around to leave and ask for Alpha Tyrion to check it up but the tapping continued again. I touched the wall and followed it until a huge painting came in my sight. As I touched it, the block in the wall shifted giving a passage to walk in. It was illuminated with candles and I was taken aback by the secret route. I heard the sounds of guards coming into the room and without knowing what to do, I ran inside the path as the block closed behind me.
