Alpha Tyrion's Arranged Mate - His Hybrid Mate

Chapter Bully Ava

Celine's POV:

"What the f*ck is wrong with him?" Alpha Tyrion roared when we were alone again. He ran his hand in his hair and punched the wall behind him, leaving a huge hole. I was terrified of his erratic behavior in the Lycan's palace because it would draw attention to us and might not work in his favor.

"I think the Lycan king has the authority to decide the rules for the competition. "I added and it irritated him further.

He scoffed," But it was never a rule in the past. "

I sighed and nervously cleared my throat," Rules change, Alpha."

Alpha Tyrion glared at me with his jaw clenched angrily, "Aren't you supporting him too much?"

His eyes accused me of something that never even crossed my mind and I felt immense discomfort as Alpha Tyrion took me in a tight embrace all of a sudden. His body pushed me into the wall and my heart beat against his chest. I wanted to get away from him but he used his arms to block my exit from both sides. I was trapped by him and the wall from all sides.

"I didn't mean to disrespect you, Alpha," I whispered, keeping my eyes on him.

He pressed himself into me more," You will always be on my side and respect me because of this..." He touched my mark," I might have acted like a powerless man but now when we are here in the competition, I will not let my woman engage in any conversation with other men."

I nodded," I understand that."

We heard the sounds of footsteps behind us and Alpha Tyrion let me go, only to come face to face with Ava. She was seething with hatred and anger as her eyes moved on our hands which were still locked with each other. I instantly let go of his hand and took a few steps away from both of them. They just stared into each other's eyes and I noticed the small bump she had started to show by now. It was the proof that they had once been in love and had accepted each other a long time ago.

If Ava was here then Alpha Tyrion would go back to hating me because the guilt of leaving his pregnant girlfriend was always disheartening for him. But I didn't want his mean side to surface. Not in this kingdom at least when everyone hated me for being a rogue and a maid. It was as if it was written on my forehead and they had the right to bully me.

"I will meet you when the official statement is out." Alpha Tyrion told me before walking out and not giving Ava a single glance on his way. She was trying to get him to look at her, to acknowledge her presence. Her pitiful eyes turned hard as soon as Alpha Tyrion left.

I knew it would be no good for me to stay in front of her and decided to enter my chamber. As I turned the knob, I felt her painfully grabbing my hair. "F*cking Bit*h!" She screamed, "What spell did you cast on him?" She screamed.

I covered her fist with my hands to not let her tear my hair from my scalp. But she was raging and her grip wouldn't loosened on me as much as I tried. "Leave me! "I cried, trying to run back into my chamber.

She slapped me hard, "You ruined everything for me! Everything! It was supposed to be me in your place. He was mine and we were meant to be together before you jumped in for the luxury."

My fingers touched the hot side of my cheek, feeling like it was bitten by hundreds of bees. I could easily push her away but then it would mean hurting a pregnant woman and I didn't want to do it.

"I know whatever I did was wrong but please don't hurt me."

She spat on my face and I wiped it with my hand, "You dared to take part in this challenge as his mate. Huh? You think you will get the Luna Queen tittle and rule over everyone. You're a fu*king maid who's good for nothing other than serving the royals! "

Belinay was edging with resentment and anger as her limit to bear with Ava's tantrums reached a new level. I could feel the build up in her heart, but she was being calm for the sake of the unborn.

"Ava, " I said again and snatched my hand away from her grab. I could see the marks of her fingers which formed into bruises on my arm and it felt like branches which turned black.

"I will make your life so miserable here that you will regret crossing paths with me..." She said through gritted teeth, " And about Tyrion, he will be wrapped around my little finger soon. I will let him fu*k me because he is the father of our child. "

With that, she gave me a hard push against the wall and walked to her chamber which was adjacent to mine. She looked at me and did a beheading sign with her hand before going in and slamming the door.

The stinging feeling on my cheek was still there and so were the bruises. She was a woman without any heart or emotions. And she hated me.

What was she going to do to make my life miserable here?

'If she wasn't pregnant, I would have attacked her by now.' Belinay roared.

'I know and I would have defended myself too.'

I pondered about telling Alpha Tyrion at once but then I realized it would be the start of bullying and he wouldn't understand me. He wouldn't believe me enough. I had to stay away from Ava, anyhow. She was ready to kill me if that's what it took to secure her place in Alpha Tyrion's life.

I entered my room too and just sat on the bed for a round 15 minutes. The challenge was difficult, Ava was here to make me cry, Alpha Tyrion was always pissed and Lycan king was just something different.

"Celine?"

I looked up to see the Luna Queen standing in my room because I had not locked it. She caught the sight of my bruised hands and filled with worry, she fell on her knees.

"Did the Lycan king hurt you? How could he do this?" She shook her head.

Why would the lycan king try to hurt me? And was she touching my face with her eyes filled with tears.
