Alpha Tyrion's Arranged Mate - His Hybrid Mate

Chapter Accusations and an old friend

Celine's POV:

I came back rushing to the pack and out of breath after the incident. I should have never trusted Calle who was already crazy enough to attack me and say all those weird things. I doubted if he actually knew anything about my mother other than the broken piece of the necklace which he might have found by mistake. He was just using my emotions so that he could get into my life and carry on with his Evil intentions.

Now, other than finding about my mother, I had something else to do which was to know more about the red wolf who had some how saved me from his vicious attack. My head was banging like it was struck against a wall so many times. I just wanted to get some rest and think properly about my next steps.

Maybe, I should talk with the queen about the incident so that she could take action. I didn't know if I would be able to tell Alpha Tyrion about what happened because he wouldn't like to know that I went to meet Calle alone.

My heart pounded in my chest as I entered my chamber, only to find Alpha Tyrion waiting for me, his expression a volatile mix of anger and hurt. He was glaring at me with an unreadable expression on his face.

Ava had told him for sure, revealing to him that I had ventured off alone to meet someone. Now, I stood before him, the weight of his accusatory gaze bearing down upon me. I couldn't be here to stand before him when he must had thousands of questions going inside his head.

"Where were you?" he demanded, his voice laced with jealousy and betrayal. "And why is your gown ripped from its arms?"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I struggled to find the right words, my voice barely a whisper. "I... I went to the abandoned chambers... seeking answers about my mother."

His face contorted with rage, he took a menacing step toward me. "You dare to go off alone? To meet Calle?"

"No!" I cried, my voice trembling. "I went alone, but it wasn't to meet him. I just... I needed to understand."

But my feeble attempts to calm him fell on deaf ears. Ava, standing beside him, seized the opportunity to further ignite his anger.

"Oh really? I saw you with my own eyes when you were hugging and kissing Lycan Calle! Oh Goddess! That man has a mate. Is it your kink to get the men who already have mates? Does it satisfy your ego to know that you can get any mated men as you want?"

She made false accusations, claiming she had seen me kissing Calle and other men. The room seemed to spin as my anger surged, and without thinking, I pushed Ava away from me "I am better than you at least! " I screamed.

In an instant, Alpha Tyrion's grip tightened around my arm, his strength overpowering me as he slammed me against the wall.

"Ty, she's a wh*re! " Ava said but Alpha Tyrion ignored her.

My back thudded against the cold stone, pain shooting through me. Fear gripped my heart as he leaned in close, his voice dripping with menace.

"You have tested my patience," he growled, his eyes burning with a ferocity I had never witnessed before. "I will show you my true self. I told you to not get in contact with that psycho."

His words hung heavy in the air, a chilling warning of the darkness that lurked beneath his composed exterior. With a final, brutal squeeze of my arm, he released me and stormed out of the chamber, dragging Ava with him. "Fu*king bi*ch!" She mumbled angrily.

Alone and trembling, I sank to the floor, my tears flowing freely. The chamber felt suffocating, filled with the weight of betrayal and the echoes of Tyrion's anger.

"No! "I screamed as I fell on my knees, "I don't know what else to do!"

It was in that moment of despair that I noticed movement in the corner of my eye.

A tiny kitten, the same one I had carried in my pack, emerged from the shadows. I watched in astonishment as the kitten underwent a remarkable transformation, shifting into the form of a young girl. She approached me cautiously and wrapped her arms around me in a comforting hug.

"Who... who are you?" I managed to choke out, my voice quivering.

"I am Carly. " she whispered softly. "I've been watching over you, waiting for the right moment to reveal myself. You are not alone, Celine."

Her words held a profound reassurance, a glimmer of hope amidst the turmoil. I clung to her presence, finding solace in her unexpected companionship. Carly's arrival signified that there were forces at play beyond my understanding, allies hidden in plain sight.

As I held Carly, tears still streaming down my face, I vowed to protect her, just as she had protected me. Together, we would navigate the treacherous paths ahead, uncovering the truth and seeking justice in a world tainted by betrayal and hidden agendas.

"But why did you never come in your real form before? And what are you doing in the wolf kingdom? Why can't I and anyone else catch your scent?'

She chuckled as I asked her so many questions all at once...

"Because I never found the right reason to reveal my identity but right now you're so alone. Secondly, I am a mix of wolf and a hybrid cat mother giving me the presence of a kitten yet the scent of a wolf. I used to live with my mother in the woods but then the rogues killed her. I found the old chambers in Alpha Tyrion's pack where no one ever came. Until, one day, you came and picked me up like my mother. "

I hugged her again, caressing her soft black hair. She was so thin and her bones touched my arms.

"I will always protect you." I said.

"No, I will seek revenge from that Ava first. I am going to scratch her face and make her ugly." She angrily said.
