After the Divorce: From Heartbreak to Heiress Boss

Chapter 19

Chapter 19 Paul Was Leah's Teacher

Leah wanted Taylor to apologize to her for a long time. More importantly, she wanted to see Taylor feel aggrieved but couldn't do anything to her.

She was quite satisfied after Taylor apologized.

Thinking that Debra's life was in danger, she didn't say anything more.

"Wait. I'll call Paul over right now."

After an hour, Paul came to Ocanni Hospital.

Quentin and Taylor stood at the door of the emergency room waiting anxiously while Leah was sitting there.

Taylor was irritated again as she saw Leah's unconcern.

"I think you'd better go back, lest Debra gets angry again when she sees your unconcerned face."

"Don't forget I invited Paul here. If you drive me away, aren't you afraid I will take him away too?" Leah leaned on the back of the chair and looked at Taylor with a faint smile.

Her words made Taylor speechless, and Taylor could only glare at her.

Leah withdrew her gaze from Taylor and lowered her eyes, not wanting Taylor to ruin her mood.

After they had been worried for two hours, Paul finally came out of the emergency room.

"Madam Worthington is finally out of danger after the successful surgery. Be sure not to stimulate her when she is recovering. Otherwise, no one can save her."

"Okay, I'll keep it in mind. Thank you, Doctor Brody," Quentin said.

Taylor echoed, "Doctor Brody, we're so lucky to have you. Otherwise, she won't make it this time."

"It's my duty to save people. You're welcome." After speaking, Paul turned his head and winked at Leah.

Leah nodded and followed him to the office not far away.

Quentin pushed Debra out of the emergency room with the nurses, but Taylor noticed Paul was making eye contact with Leah.

She was filled with doubts as looking at them leaving.

"What will Leah talk about with Doctor Brody? Will she speak ill of our family?

No, I have to follow them and take a look."

Thinking of this, Taylor followed them on tiptoe.

As soon as she arrived at the door of the office, she heard Leah's voice coming from inside.

"How have you been, my dear teacher?"

Leah's words shocked Taylor, making her eyes widen in disbelief.

Taylor exclaimed in her mind, "What? Doctor Brody is actually Leah's teacher?"

She couldn't believe what she heard for a moment as she remembered Paul had very high requirements for

accepting students. Many wealthye

families wanted to send their

children to learn from Paul and sent him many luxurious gifts, but all of them were returned without exception.

Leah had no family background and

was just a plain woman. Taylor

didn't believe Paul would acne

such an ordinary woman as his student.

Von

She thought they were probably just joking with each other.

Taylor continued to press her ear against the door, trying to hear their conversation.

At this moment, she received a message from Quentin.

[Grandma is awake. Come to the ward.]

Seeing this, Taylor looked at the closed door and hesitated for two seconds before finally choosing to leave.

Leah, in the office, didn't know Taylor eavesdropped on their conversation.

Facing Paul's earnest gaze, Leah was a little helpless.

"Paul, don't look at me like that. Could you cut to the chase?"

Paul rubbed his temples and let out a sigh.

"Leah, I bet you must have forgotten me if there is no emergency. What have you been up to these days? Why didn't you come to learn from me? I have a lot of free time recently and have been waiting for you at the door all day long, but you just didn't come!"
