Chapter 16 Doctor
That evening, at the Worthington Manor, Quentin quietly enjoyed his meal at the table. Meanwhile, Taylor couldn't help but recall her encounter with Leah at Joylands earlier that day, and the more she thought about it, the angrier she became.
She said, "Quentin, that Leah is becoming more and more outrageous. Thank goodness you've already divorced her. Otherwise, who knows how much trouble she would cause you... Quentin didn't pay much mind to what else Taylor had said. He was only focused on the fact that Leah was living in Villa No. 8.
He then frowned slightly as his grip on the fork involuntarily tightened.
"Mom, did you really see Leah entering Villa No. 8?" Quentin asked curiously.
"Of course, I saw it with my own eyes. I wouldn't be telling you if I didn't! That woman..." Taylor continued to ramble on, but Quentin had already stopped paying attention.
Combining what Taylor had said with what Sharon had told him that afternoon, Quentin couldn't help but think, "Is Leah really willing to stoop so low for money without caring about her reputation? But all these have nothing to do with me anymore because Leah and I are already divorced..."

As soon as Taylor realized it was a call from the hospital, she wisely fell silent and listened attentively.
"Mr. Worthington, Madam
Worthington's condition has
suddenly worsened. All her bodily functions are rapidly deteriorating. You need to get Doctor Brody Kere as soon as possible. Otherwise, we may have to prepare for the worst."
Quentin felt his heart tightened after hearing the grim news. "Okay, I got it."
Taylor, who had been listening on the side, immediately grabbed Quentin and headed out.
She hurriedly said, "Doctor Brody was brought in by Leah before. Only she has Doctor Brody's contact way. We need to go to her immediately. Your grandmother has been so good to her. She'll definitely agree to help."
