After Grandma Died I Gave Up Loving Him by Cynthia Young

Chapter 11

chapter 11

I scoffed, “If he wanted to marry you, he would have done it a long time ago. What was he waiting for?”

“Lindsay, you’re always rushing to be someone’s stand–in. Does that mean you’re a cheap woman?”

The call was hung up.

I got rid of my anger as I wished.

However, the next day, when I was about to go out, I saw Sheldon standing outside the door, still wearing a hospital gown and looking pale.

He looked at me cautiously, “Cynthia, I didn’t know that Lindsay would take advantage of my coma to provoke you. Don’t take it to heart. I will only marry you in the future.”

He opened his phone and handed it to me. “Look, I’ve blocked her. Lindsay and I won’t contact or cooperate with each other anymore. I won’t even see her anymore.”

His phone indeed no longer had Lindsay’s contact information, and even his social media had revealed his stance. “Delete each other. This is the end of you and me.”

There were a lot of fans questioning him, and he didn’t hide it, saying that everything was just to create hype. But so what?

The harm he had done to me will never be undone.

I looked at him expressionlessly, “Have you found my grandma’s ashes?”

His hopeful expression froze for a moment, and then he shook his head painfully, “Not yet, but Cynthia, can you give me a little more time? I will definitely find it.”

He came over to hold my hand, but I avoided him.

He begged, “Cynthia, I want to announce our relationship in a couple of days, okay? I will definitely give you a grand wedding and let everyone know that you are my bride.”

I sneered, “Is Sheldon too old to remember anything? I told you we’re breaking up.”

“Maybe you think I’m still the same as before, and I’ll accept everything you say as long as you coax me a few times?” “Sheldon, everything you have done, including yourself, makes me feel sick now.”

The light in Sheldon’s eyes disappeared.

He shook his head, choking with sobs, “Cynthia, please don’t despise me, I can’t live without you, I beg you, forgive me again, I really know I was wrong.”

If I had heard these words in the past, I would have been so happy that I wouldn’t have been able to sleep all night. But now, I just feel irritated and bored.

I didn’t have the patience to listen to him and quickly locked him out.

He stood there for a while and then left.

At night, I lay in bed, scrolling through my phone out of boredom.

Suddenly I saw a hot search topic.

It was about the negative information exposed about Lindsay.

She doesn’t have a seriously ill mother, nor is she a strong, innocent, naive little flower as portrayed.

She graduated from a regular university, but during an interview she lied that she graduated from Peking University’s prestigious Journalism School.

In her early years, in order to compete for roles and resources, she even sold her body and slept with one director after

another.

The wholesome character created by Lindsay collapsed.

There was a lot of harsh insults and curses under her social media accounts.

After the news broke, her fans dropped from a million to just a few in one day,

She used her own account to do a live broadcast, intending to “clarify” everything by crying and playing the victim, but many viewers didn’t buy it.

In the live chat, all kinds of insults words such as “slut“, “bitch” and “slut” came pouring in.

She could not accept such humiliation and soon gave up and fled.

I turned off the live stream.

But I received a strange text message.

It was obvious at first glance that it was sent by Sheldon.
