Chloe was a bit stunned.

"I saw you eyeing it at the auction," Michael said. "So, I bought it for you."

Chloe's brow furrowed instantly.

He never gave her a single gift. He even calculated the money during the divorce.

Chloe thought, "Why has Michael suddenly become so generous?"

Cathy knew just how to use Lucy to push my buttons.

"Since Michael and I are getting divorced, he doesn't need to be generous with me anymore."

Chloe shot to her feet, fury blazing in her eyes.

"Honestly, I don't want it. Thanks, Mr. Shawn, but please take it back."

She grabbed her clothes and headed for the door..

She didn't want to stay at Lotus Manor.

His voice turned icy. "You're staying at Lotus Manor tonight. Your bags are already here."

Mentioning the luggage just made Chloe even angrier.

Michael decided where she would stay without asking her.

Chloe thought, "Does he really think he can just control me like a puppet?"

"I refuse."

"Grandpa and your mom already sense the tension between us. If they find out you moved out, what if Grandpa's condition worsens? Move back in today." Michael brought up Admas again.

"Chloe, don't make me remind you again. You've been relying on Grandpa all this time."

Chloe tasted bitterness.
