Chapter 12 Raynard Let Her off
Here came Raynard’s deep voice. “Go to Riverside Community and get me a document. Bring me the purple tie from my wardrobe.”
“OK,” Gwyneth replied respectfully and pressed the button of the elevator.
She hung up, and the door opened. She said to Janine, “Give me the car keys. I need to go to Riverside Community!”
“He always asks you to go there. He should get you a car!”
Janine complained. But she still took her keys out of her bag and gave them to Gwyneth.
Gwyneth took the keys. “Just a document and tie. I’ll give you the money after they pay me.”
“The price varies from a car and a subway!” Janine murmured.
She was unsatisfied with the reimbursement. That was stingy!
Gwyneth smiled, “How about I make it up to you?”
“You need to pay the mortgage loan every month. How could you afford that?”
Gwyneth said, “Then stop complaining.”
“Just complaining!” Janine snorted.
Gwyneth felt a headache.
Janine had complained about Raynard all the time since she came to the company.
But in fact, she was not that generous too as she complained a lot.
Gwyneth walked out as soon as the elevator stopped on the nearest floor. She went to the underground parking lot by elevator.
Raynard lived in Riverside Community a lot. So she came here to get things he needed a lot.
Black and gray were the main colors in the apartment. The proper decorations made the apartment not oppressive at all.
Gwyneth took the document from the study and went to the dressing room, where she opened the closet for his ties!
However, as she opened the closet, she heard noises. Something dropped.
She bent to pick it up and looked at it.
Then her mind went blank. It was a box of new condoms!
Gwyneth was speechless.
Her memories that she tried to suppress surged into her mind again.
She thought of his hot body and arousing breathing.
The condoms were like a hot potato to her. She put it back hurriedly.
Raynard…
He looked so abstinent. Why would he have a box of condoms?
Gwyneth didn’t dare to speculate. She left with the document at once.
She arrived one hour later.
Gwyneth knocked on the door but got no answer. She opened the door quietly as usual.
Raynard wasn’t in the office. So she put the document on the desk and took the tie to the lounge.
She did this a lot before.
But today…
When she pushed the door open, she was shocked by what she saw!
Then she slapped the door subconsciously, making a loud bang!
Gwyneth blushed as her heart beat wildly.
She didn’t expect Raynard to take a shower during the day!
“I came to give you the tie!”
She explained hurriedly, put the tie on the desk, and ran out.
She ran so fast that she didn’t see clearly. As a result, she ran into someone.
Gwyneth was speechless.
It made her more panicked.
She looked up and saw Darron’s gloomy eyes. He looked very upset.
He made her stand steadily and snapped, “Ms. Maynard, can’t you be calm?”
“I-I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to!” she apologized at once.
Darron felt helpless about her action. She was careless all the time.
But Raynard let her off, which was surprising!
