“So, she turned up, then?” queried Barney.

“Er ... yes, she did, thanks,” replied Gabriel.

“Had a nice time then, did you?”

“Lovely thanks.”

“Much to talk about then, it being a first date and all?”

Barney chuckled quietly to himself, whilst fumbling around for something in a desk drawer.

“And you got the tea bags, then?” asked Barney, almost unable to contain himself.

Gabriel looked up. The tea bag purchase had completely slipped his mind.

“I’m really sorry,” apologised Gabriel, getting up to go and get some.

“Not to worry,” said Barney. “I thought you might forget, so I nipped out and got some myself. Fancy a nice cuppa?”
