“I guess it’s over,” Ginny said.
“What about Flynn and Matthews?” Gabriel said. “Dmitry put them back on the case, remember.”
“I saw them standing by Dmitry’s body,” Vicky said. “My guess would be that they have suddenly lost interest in pursuing a course of action given to them by a now deceased employer.”
“And given to them under considerable duress,” said Ginny.
“I think you’re probably right,” said Gabriel.
“So, what do you want to do?” asked Vicky.
“I wouldn’t mind getting my arm fixed up,” Gabriel said.
“It’s just a flesh wound,” Ginny said. “A kiss better should put that right.”
“Or ten minutes in the MED unit,” suggested Vicky.
“And then I think we should get out of here,” Gabriel said.
Ginny nodded.
“Seville?” asked Ship.
“You read my mind,” Ginny said.
“On our way,” said Ship.
