Chapter 15 The Embarrassing Stupid Model
Oh… you don’t want to get married? Then let’s not get married…” Lilian laughed it off. Let’s talk about it after you’re done with your busy schedule.”
Brent was the one who panicked, grabbing Lilian by the shoulder and angrily asking her, “Don’t you love me anymore?”
“What about you? Do you love me?” Lilian calmly freed herself from Brent’s grasp because she had promised Kevin not to have any physical contact with anyone else.
Brent was momentarily stunned and couldn’t find his words. He never had feelings for Lilian; he mostly used her. Gradually, he released his hands and said, “We’re getting married soon. Why are we still talking about whether we love each other or not? You’ll be my wife soon. Can’t you think more about me? Hillary finally has a chance to win the annual top ten award ceremony. I’m just angry that you’re being immature.”
Lilian distanced herself from Brent calmly: “Then maybe in the future, you’ll have to get used to how I am now.” After saying that, she left Rainer Entertainment without looking
back.
Brent was confused as to why Lilian’s attitude changed so drastically but upon reflection realized that she must still be jealous of him and Hillary. However, he didn’t have the energy
nor desire to console her since he hadn’t even gotten around doing so with Hillary yet.
Besides, Lilian always acted this way; she had no backbone.
Lilian knew Brent wouldn’t follow her out; she had given up on him completely already.
Instead, all she could think of was going home and seeing Kevin again – a ray of light shone
through her heart at the thought.
“Lilian, let me take you home first so that you can rest well tonight before we sign our
outdoor shooting contract tomorrow,” Sylvia said excitedly.
“Sylvia, why don’t you move out of your apartment and come live in my old one? That way, my apartment will have some life to it. Also, change the locks; it’s inconvenient for Brent to keep a spare key,” Lilian suggested. “Tomorrow I’ll sign a new contract with you.”
“Okay… that way I can save some money too.” Sylvia smiled suggestively at Lilian. “So how is
Mr. Alexander from Century Studios in bed?”
“Don’t be so nosy!” Lilian glared at Sylvia.

When the got home, Kevin hadn’t finished work yet. With nothing else to do, Lilian went into the kitchen where she found the cook preparing dinner and rolled up her sleeves: “Let
me help!
“Madam, how could we trouble you?” The cook was a middle–aged woman who liked quiet
people like Lilian.
“How about this take today off and let me make dinner for Kevin instead,” Lilian kicked the
cook out of the kitchen directly.
By nightfall when Kevin returned home he immediately looked for Lilian but found her
cooking in the kitchen wearing an apron and barefooted instead. He was surprised but his deep–set eyes were immediately drawn to her long legs as he walked over and hugged her
from behind.
“Mr. Alexander stop fooling around…”
“I want to help too.”
“You know how to cook?” Lilian raised an eyebrow.
“Just today; don’t go into the kitchen again or you might get hurt.” Kevin cherished Lillian’s legs more than anything else; he even thought about buying insurance for them already.
“Bully. Lillian commented but understood that Kevin only did it because he cared about her
safety.
The couple silently prepared dinner together since both were skilled cooks -Lilian made.
what Kevin liked while he made what she preferred- within moments they had set up at sumptuous feast on their table. They were both surprised at how much they enjoyed this aspect of life since not many people could appreciate it.
“I might have to go to Paris tomorrow for an outdoor shoot and may not be able to come home at night,” Lilian honestly told Kevin about her schedule.
“Don’t you sign the contract tomorrow afternoon?
“Yeah, hf’s new product launch is coming up. Lilian nodded. “Kevin, give me a little more time; I’ll definitely make you proud.”
“I never doubted that.” Kevin served food onto Lillian’s plate while their eyes met with
mutual admiration.
Of course, Kevin was also looking forward to seeing how miserable Brent and Hillary would become under Lilian’s careful planning…
After the night wind comes the light rain.
When Hillary returned to Brent’s apartment, she smashed everything that could be smashed. Especially when she thought of Lilian signing the contract tomorrow, she felt extremely unwilling. What’s more, Brent actually helped Lilian, which was something she couldn’t.

“Even so, I am still unwilling.” With tears in her eyes looking up at him,” She has been occupying your heart for so many years; there is no way I will let Lilian off easily.”
In fact, Hillary had already instructed her assistant to stir up fans online against Lilian
which had started showing results with fans creating topics attacking her and spreading
rumors about her.
She would never allow Lilian to win even if it meant losing herself.
What’s more important is that she also instructed her assistant to release information about
Lillian’s schedule tomorrow giving troublemakers a chance to cause problems publicly.
Does Lillian think endorsements are easy? Tomorrow will make her look like a foolish model
at the airport.
