Accidental Billionaire Bride By Amelia Hart

Chapter 10

Chapter 10: The Determination of Rebirth

Kevin remained silent and turned his gaze forward, while Lilian’s eyes were fixed on the

black mole resembling a black diamond on his right earlobe. It looked like an earring that

added a dangerous and sinister aura to him.

“Are you looking at me like this, inviting me to kiss you? Hug you? Or…” Kevin teased lightly,

but Lilian held back her nervousness and took the initiative to hold Kevin’s arm and avoid

his hot gaze. “Before we go to our new home, can you accompany me somewhere else?”

“After we arrive there, can we continue what we didn’t finish last night?” Kevin asked with at hint of seduction in his voice. Lilian couldn’t hide her nervousness because she knew she might not have the courage she had last night. However, Kevin did not force or say anything; he let her hold onto his arm as they walked together.

–

Instead of going back to Kevin’s house, they went to Los Angeles‘ famous cherry blossom forest upon Lilian’s request it was where she used to date Brent frequently before. But today, she wanted to completely remove Brent from her heart so she finally answered the phone call with a low voice: “I’m at the cherry blossom forest – every place where we agreed to meet up before if you still want to see me.”

“Okay, I’ll be right over,” Brent immediately agreed. Although he was involved with Hillary

now, he never intended on giving up on Lilian either – where could he find another woman who was easier than Lilian? She had always been devotedly loyal despite having wealth and

temper.

Lilian hung up the phone and looked at Kevin sitting across from her sincerely but choked up: “This is my last time calling him for personal reasons; I won’t do it again.”

Kevin raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything. He just patted the seat next to him, indicating his possessiveness. Lilian obediently leaned over, and they both looked down through the restaurant’s transparent glass at the anxious figure below.

Brent had arrived!

How many times had she stood foolishly in Brent’s position waiting for him all day long? She

was stood up five out of ten times. Looking back now, her sincere heart was treated so

–

casually by someone else being stood up, played with, betrayed – she wanted Brent to experience it all.

“Will this make you feel better?” Kevin asked as he watched the figure downstairs and held

onto Lilian’s shoulder.

‘Of course not; I just want him to pay me back no matter how big or small,” Lilian replied honestly without any pretense despite looking so delicate like a rose.

“I ordered foie gras earlier; it was flown in from France. It should be good.” Kevin let go of

her and revealed a surprised smile: “How did you know that I liked it?”

“What’s difficult about knowing your husband’s preferences?” Lilian reminded the waiter to

serve their food while saying: “Let’s eat and chat.”

Kevin looked at her pink lips resembling roses and showed a hint of danger in his eyes: “But…I don’t want to talk with you; I only want…to kiss you!”

Downstairs, Brent waited impatiently but dared not leave even one step away from where he was standing. During this time period, he kept calling Lilian non–stop but received an automated message stating that her phone was turned off because he didn’t know that at this moment in time for both Kevin and Lilian, he was nothing more than an insignificant doorman.

Finally after an hour passed by during which they finished eating together upstairs while Brent waited downstairs anxiously – Kevin tilted his head slightly towards downstairs asking Lilian: “Do you want to continue watching?”

“No, I want you to help me move,” Lilian replied. Kevin nodded, quickly paid the bill, and left

through the side door with Lilian. When they arrived at her apartment, Lilian asked him to wait outside for five minutes before entering. After five minutes had passed, he went in but

ouldn’t see any photos of Lilian or anything belonging to a man because Brent wasn’t

staying there that night.

“Kevin, wait for me while I pack some things,” said Lilian as she walked out of her bedroom holding a teddy bear.

“Do you want to keep anything?” asked Kevin.

“No, let memories be forgotten,” replied Lilian firmly. Suddenly Kevin hugged her and pressed his cold lips against hers. At first surprised by his actions, Lilian closed her eyes and responded until Kevin’s hand reached into her clothes. They abruptly stopped and he said:

“Let’s finish this at home later. Did my kiss make your memories more beautiful?”

Lilian clung onto Kevin feeling his calm breaths; from now on she wouldn’t let anyone hurt

her again and would hold onto everything that belonged to her tightly.

Meanwhile in the cherry blossom forest Brent waited for four hours but eventually received a call from Hillary asking where he was because she couldn’t find him at home: “Brent I feel sick in my stomach… why hasn’t the photo been suppressed yet? I’m afraid it will ruin me.”

Brent immediately drove back home after hearing this plea from Hillary who stood pitifully on one foot at the doorstep when he arrived. He hugged Hillary without hesitation saying: “I won’t let you be ruined nor Rainer Entertainment.”

“Hillary, you’re all I have; please don’t leave me or our child,” pleaded Brent as he comforted Hillary by patting her back gently.

He then instructed his team to issue another public statement clarifying what really happened – that they fell down together due to Hillary’s injured right leg and that Brent was just trying to help her stand up. It wasn’t like what the photo suggested that they were being suppressed while kissing.

Most importantly, at this point Brent continued to sacrifice Lilian and hinted that someone was manipulating things behind the scenes so as not to mislead the public.
