“How does the Moondrop tea compare to home?” Elan set the large glass infuser teapot down after serving.
it has a milder wolfnip effect, but I love this lime and raspberry ice with it. I think I prefer it, Luna Serenity typed out on her phone to show our Delta, reaching her arms around her pup that slept against her chest.
“Thanks,” Elan signed in reply, touching his hand to his chin and extending it outwards. “We've been trying a few different blends for Two Moons. We made a pretty strong one for summer Solstice,” he spoke the rest aloud.
“That one went down a treat; I chuckled, remembering the day's celebrations, and absentmindedly stroked Ladas muzzle resting on my lap.
It's fucking fabulous, is what I think! Ewa rolled along her side and down the walls of my mind like a cat, not even riling at her comparison to a feline.
“Boys, come on!” Elan called out, untangling himself from the honeysuckle vine that was creeping around his wrist from his home. “It's been almost three hours. You need more sunscreen.”
How's baby Jon settled in?’ I mind-linked since we were alone.
She smiled down at his sleepy face, his little body jolting with a hiccup in his slumber. He's doing so well. Those first few months were rough, though:
“Could you take him? Serenity held out her little boy. I really gotta pee!
“sure!” I extended a free hand to help her stand.
The boys took a quick break from their water playtime, rushing over for some of the juice and cookies Hazel had made before her shift at the Family clinic.
“Luka, slow down." I tried to prise away the plastic cup he was chugging from like a frat boy. “You're gonna give yourself a stomach ache—"
Serenity lurched, pressing the side of her abdomen.
“You ok?” Elan asked in worry.
She smiled, nodding, and made a sign with her hands, hitting the underside of her left wrist with the side of her right hand. “Does that mean kick?" Luka inclined his head, staring at her belly.
She nodded again and gestured for him to come closer, placing his small hands where her baby was kicking.
His eyes widened, and a sweet grin eclipsed his face. ” That's a lot of kicks. I think it likes me?”
“Were you still thinking of calling her Charlotte?" I bounced Jon up on my shoulder as he stirred
Serenity nodded again and let go of my pup’s hands.
I bet she'll have your eyes!
“Really?’ Serenity smiled, rubbing her stomach. What makes you think that?’
“Just a hunch! I stared after my son.
The visiting Luna's eyes were an unusual shade of vivid teal, a perfect blend of tropical blue and green. Teal happened to be the colour Luka was obsessed with, and taking the cues from his fathers, it had to mean something.
I would have to wait fifteen to twenty years to get my answer, but the signs were there.
If our boy is as oblivious as his wingus and dingus fathers, we might be waiting closer to thirty, Ewa joked.
My wolf wasn't wrong.
You did tell them to go to hell, though, Evva reminded me.
Actually, you jumped out of a high window to flee in the snow and then punched them, which is kinda like telling them to go to hell
“The tea’s wearing off, I see?’
However, if I had the chance to do it over, I might have reconsidered the whole window incident.
