When they arrive at the clinic, the doctor in charge of the she-wolf's pregnancy is already waiting for them in front of the building with a wheelchair along with two nurses. Kara carefully gets out of the car and Leonardo takes her to the wheelchair. The she-wolf is then wheeled into the clinic and taken to one of the larger rooms.
Kara, it's too early for the babies to be born, but they are very low and it's likely to be a very premature delivery,” the doctor informs her.
Doctor, proceed as s00n as possible, can't you see that it hurts? Leonardo growls, as he doesn't like to see the she-wolf moaning in pain.
The woman is frightened.
Hey, take it easy. -Kara holds her hand to calm her down.
-Okay, I'll get everything ready so that the lady can be operated on as soon as possible. -She leaves the room.
He leaves a nurse and the Don, who doesn't leave Kara's side at any time as promised
“You need to calm down,” he murmurs and breathes a little calmer now that the contractions have subsided.

After about thirty minutes, the doctor enters with another stretcher and two nurses.
Kara, everything is ready to bring in your little ones,” she says with a small smile. Mr. Marchetti, go with Sol to put on the sterile gown so that he can accompany his wife throughout the procedure.
Leonardo nods and follows the nurse to a dressing room. She hands him the gown. When the nurse leaves, he begins to dress. Suddenly, he hears gunshots. The alarms in the clinic go off. His heart and body go cold. Screams and footsteps in the corridor shake him out of his paralysis. He starts to run for the room, but then remembers that Kara has been moved out of the way to deliver the baby. He runs for the stairs, as the lift will take longer. When he catches the scent of the she wolf on the first floor, he runs to that spot and finds death all around him, as if a wild animal has attacked them all. His heart races when he reaches the room where the she-wolf should be. He finds everyone dead and no trace of Kara. A fain heartbeat makes him run to the corner where the half-dead but conscious nurse is.
-Dov’é mia moglie? -he roars in Italian.
-Lupi[1]," she answers with her last breath of life.
Leonardo grunts, angry.
He takes out his phone and calls his bodyguards. However, they don't answer. He goes out to where they should be, but they are dead. The roar he lets out can be heard for several blocks. He is upset and worried about the wolf and her cubs. He runs to his car to go to the mansion, as he cannot find his wife alone.

-Don, we are checking the cameras. The suspect entered with four others, taking Mrs. Marchetti and her doctor with him,’ reports the mansion’s security officer. Fer is not there. He takes out an envelope and hands it to her. Look at the security camera photos and check if he knows any of the suspects.
He checks the photos; none of them are known to him.
-1 don't know any of them. I want you to hunt that son of a bitch down, because I'll rip his head off his body myself for taking my wife and kids,” he snarls through gritted teeth.
-As you command, Don. I also inform you that the man prowling the house is in the vault. Excuse me, but I still can't find the police infiltrator. -He grimaces.
Leonardo doesn’t have time for that right now.
-Vll see the guy in the vault. -He needs to release his anger with something and that guy will be his target.
He was caught at the wrong time.
He leaves his office and heads for the vault, which is in a hidden room. He comes across the person he least expected in his life.
“What the f**k, Eliecer? -He looks at the bound and beaten idiot.
He walks over and unties him.
“You're finally here. -He rubs his wrists.
“What are you doing in my house? -He crosses his arms over his chest, showing how huge he is.

Leonardo tenses.

Leonardo thinks about it. He knows Eliecer is right; he can't risk the lives of the humans who are his bodyguards.
-Good. Bring as many men as possible.
-But keep one thing in mind: you must not accept any of their battles. -The concern is very noticeable in Eliecer.
