A Wolf For The Gangster

Chapter 10

Mixed feelings

The next morning, everything is an uproar because the Don is someone who does not forgive mistakes. He has a frown or his face as he looks at his right hand.

“If Tamara is a huge distraction, I'l be forced to send her to Dominicko," he comments seriously.

—Don, I swear I didn't know about those guys...

He raises his hand to make him shut up.

~They could have killed her because of your carelessness. It is your damn obligation to check who enters and leaves my house. —Fer nods—. Get out, I don't want to see you or I'll end up putting my fist in your f**+**g face.

Fer leaves the office angry about what happened. In Italian he yells at one of the guards to gather all personnel in the equipment area. He takes out a cigarette and takes the gun from him. Not even five minutes pass before all the staff, whether cleaning or security, are gathered in front of him. Many know that Fer is just as cold as Don, therefore, they respe him. He watches them seriously.

—1 want to know who the hell let the guys who shot Kara pas.

One of the security steps forward.

—sir, I wanted to protect the dignity of the Don and his fiancée, that's why I hired some thugs to eliminate his lover. “I sau them having s*x on the boat,” he reports, half unsure of what he ordered to be done.

Fer's body tenses and he immediately orders one of his guards to look for the Don. He tells the others to leave.

—Who the hell do you think you are to go doing whatever you want? The Don is furious. Not caring about his injury, he lifts him up by the neck. The boy looks at him with terror.

“Don... I just wanted...” The grip on his throat tightens, preventing him from speaking.

—Don't you do whatever you want here, capisci?

“I'm sorry, Don,” he murmurs.

~My mistakes are not forgiven. —He ends the boy's life with his hands and releases the body, which falls like a rag doll o the ground—. Take care of this. —Go past Fer.

On the other hand, Kara wakes up after being asleep for several hours due to painkillers. Her stomach grows for lack of food. She carefully gets out of bed, goes to the bathroom and changes her bandage. How ironic life is. Now she and the Don are hurt. She sighs when she manages to get dressed without hurting herself and then leaves her room heading for t kitchen. She meets Minerva, who smiles shyly at her.

—It's good that she woke up. I was about to go up to bring you something to eat, but since you're here, she goes to the dining room to serve you.

Kara goes to the huge dining room and takes a seat. A couple of minutes pass before she has a steak in front of her along with some vegetables and sauces. She eats everything in silence, until her stomach churns and she ends up expelling everything from her to the side of her chair.

The Don, who has just arrived, approaches the wolf and gathers her hair to prevent it from getting dirty.

“The doctor said painkillers could have side effects,” he tells her.

—'m sorry for dirtying your floor.

-Don’t worry about that. Come, I'll take you to your room and ask Minerva to make you some juice. —His gentle treatment of her takes the wolf by surprise, but she doesn't think anything, just lets him take her to her room and then to the bathroom.

Kara washes her mouth and heads to her bed.

The Don leaves the bedroom and then returns with the juice. He makes sure she drinks everything and stays next to her f long minutes that seem like hours.

Kara feels comfortable with his presence and even she likes having him around her. Her scent calms her and makes her f protected.

—Why are you like this? —he dares to ask.

She leaves him confused.

-As well as?

—One day you are a beast without any emotion and another day you are the prince of a fairy tale. S~ᴇaʀᴄh the FɪndNovᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

He frowns.

“I don't know,” he says sincerely. I think you make me different, puppy. He—he looks into her eyes.

Kara's heart races as she realizes that the huge man in front of her can feel more than just s****L desire.

—But in the world I'm in, feeling is a weakness, and I don’t want to be weak. —Her aura changes completely to a darker or as does her look. He rests.

She gets out of bed and leaves the room with long strides.

He leaves a void in Kara's chest.

~i told you what would happen if you didn’t complete the shipment. He takes out a cigar to light it and take a hit. He lets the smoke escape from her mouth and looks seriously at the big-bellied man who now has bruises on his face from the beatings he received.

“Don, I swear I didn't know anything about the raid.” he sobs, terrified.

—1 don't know whether to believe your words, Massimo. —Pulls a chair to sit in front of him~—. You wanted to take charge and he looks what happened: we lost the merchandise. —Smokes and blows the smoke in his face.

—There must be a snitch.

still, you should have known and handled the situation. The seriousness in his words make it clear to him that no matter how much he tries to refute the fault would always be his.

“Don, please forgive me,” he pleads for his life when the Don gets up from his chair.

—Massimo, what I promise—he touches his gun—I keep it. —He shoots between eyebrows—. “See you on the other side," f murmurs and leaves a black rose, a symbol that a leader of the drug lords killed the subject.

The ringleaders in Sicily are four: Don, Dominicko, Alessandro and Karim. Their names are respected by everyone and no one dares to talk about them or go against them.

—Clean everything. Fer, take care of finding out who took the shipment.

Having said his order, he heads to his latest black Maserati model.
